I bought a car in IL that lived about 6 months of its life FL was titled in FL. I was told that I had to do the whole "flood affidavit" thing in order to get the IL title. We had to track down the nephew of the old guy who owned the car because that old man had passed away and the nephew was the executor of the uncle's estate. It was a big hassle. Then when I went to the DMV to get the title processed, they said "oh, the flood affidavit only applies to certain counties in FL. in which this car was never registered". So we didn't really need to get the affidavit, and they gave me a clean title for the car with no problem.

I have been patiently watching every video for the last year and a half in hopes that one of these Saturday mornings, I wake up to the lighting being worked on. Short bed trucks have a cult following. I demand the Lighting series to commence again, please.
It should be. His Lightning is his best vehicle. I own an 88 Mustang GT, 03 Cobra, and an 03 Lightning. I've owned LS Juan Fcars. I also own a 17 3.5L F150, and a 18 5L F150. The Lightning is the best, coolest, most loved one of them all. GEN2 Lightning even with its weak old 2V Modular, and outdated 4R100 is the pimp shit, and my 03 L with just Hellwig anti-swaybars, and a Stifflers X-brace, outhandles my Maximum Motorsported up ( F/R C/O's on MM spec'd Bilstein Sports shock/struts, K-member brace, steering rack bushings, FLSFC's, camber/caster plates, complete FTB IRS bushing kit, etc) Terminator coupe, and my old 02 SS with Koni SA shocks, BMR springs, MWC SFC's, Founders roto-ball LCA's, PHB, etc. I've had a 99 Roush Stage 2, 95 Integra GSR, EG Civic, 83 BMW 320i, and my L handles better than they did. (Really GEN 4 Fbody's easily outhandle SN95 chassis cars as well) Only vehicle I've owned that at least on the street, handles noticeably better than my 03 Lightning was my 19 1SS 1LE, but some butt F'in semitruck hit it and totalled it out. That GEN6 Camaro SLE handled like it was on rails. Straight up, a GEN2 L is the bomb. You ever install in-floor SFC's in a Foxbody/SN95 car, and you'll understand why they are so loose and flimsy. I don't even know how the chassis supports its own weight while sitting still. There's barely anything there. No wonder they're so light. Then combine it with a front strut setup that would be nothing fancy in the 1950's, and an offset 4 link, whose design absolutely sucks arse, and it's no wonder GEN3/GEN4 Fbodys and either GEN of Ford Lightnings handle so much better.

I feel your pain I work out of Lake Barrington and yeah we went from a 3000 square-foot shop to a 5000 square-foot. We hustled decided not to take our annual bonuses last year and sold two of our old work trucks/tow rigs (obs ford 460 f350s… We still miss them every passing day). Then on day a shop came up for sale literally one street over from where we originally were. The stars aligned we took it, we moved and we couldn’t be any happier. It’s amazing having the necessary space a company truly needs… The only thing that needs to be throttled is a vehicle not a company.
This is great news Alex - I think it's good that you sell your cars on - you have gone over all of them so thoroughly that letting other people enjoy them is definitely a good thing - and having a bigger shop and room for more/bigger projects will definitely benefit all us viewers!

You’re funny Alex, crazy interest rates were in the 1980s. If you wanted to shop/home in the 1980s, your loan interest rate was 18%. These current interest rates actually very normal currently. What we experienced in the last decade due to low demand was not normal and we all got used to it.

I'd do "LSC 507" on the C63. I love that you're doing model rockets with your kids. I did that as a kid and by the end, I was doing the giant ones that my science teacher at school had to buy the motors for me because you needed a permit to buy them. @30:30... Put some high flow catted downpipes on the CL. Might solve the backpressure issue. @46:00... I'd love to see you do an update on cars you've sold. The original HP was, what? Like about 120 or so?? A turbo (or two) would take that to probably 175 or 200 (and I KNOW you have ways of beefing up the engine to handle the extra oomph!) Great episode!
I'm in NZ so for me it's Sunday morning - I usually go for an early morning cruise if the weather is OK & I have a working car, and then back home to watch Alex.
So great to see a history vid. I've been here for most of it. I always count on you for great weekend content. Thanks for coming thru again.
I like the new editing,it works it really makes the channel pop.
Really cool update. Very nice of you go meet with that guy for his B-Day. Glad you're selling the V-12 Benz. Would be cool to meet you someday. I drive a 2019 Shelby GT350 & love it. I really like your GTR. Hope you find a killer shop with also a small showroom up front.
Never knew your dad left when you were little. So sorry to hear that! Same thing here. I just want to say that you’re a great person and dad! Keep up the great work!
Alex, you're a great guy man. Talking and taking your fan on a drive for his birthday. He'll never forget it. Your seriously genuine and awesome bro.
My favorite part of this video was the little people backup camera. Hope you find the perfect spot to grow your brand!!
You’re such a genuine dude Alex congrats on all your current and future success!! Best TH-cam channel for us car guys by miles!
What car you most sad to see leave?
Caprice 😢
Honestly, the Porsche...
The McLaren/porsche
The PPV
Porsche or “Porsha” 😂
My hat off to you Alex, I think you are the most honest, transparant car guy on youtube. I enjoy watching your videos with my kids, youre an example. Even if I have to translate everything for them
Well that is a good problem. Glad for your success!
Someone who is so smart yet cares about sharing your knowledge with the rest of us is rare. Been watching since you were setting up in the shop years ago.
I'm happy to hear your buying some PS super exotic , super car. Good luck with finding a new shop. Also please don't stop working on the lower dollar, but super cool cars.
I wish I could buy that C4. Enjoyed the whole series. Can't wait to see what's next. Thank you!
This is great news Alex - I think it's good that you sell your cars on - you have gone over all of them so thoroughly that letting other people enjoy them is definitely a good thing - and having a bigger shop and room for more/bigger projects will definitely benefit all us viewers!
Good luck on the sales and finding a bigger place. 👍🏾
I hope you have success in selling your vehicles. You are very upfront and honest and that is hard to find these days. Best wishes from Ohio
What you did for that guys birthday was great. The smile on his face when you did a pull in the gtr 😂
You know what? Good for you, I actually genuinely like seeing good people like you succeed and I can only wish you the best and of course I will keep watching these videos because someday I want to be like you❤️
Selling some cars huh? It's ABOUT TIME DUDE!
I absolutely love your videos, Alex. You are such a great person. I hope you find an amazing new shop for LSC.
😮😮😎🇺🇸 happy legit street car Saturday everyone!! Rock on 🤘
Part of the reason I love watching Alex is this felt like I was on FaceTime with him, not watching a TH-cam video.
Can’t wait to see the next Legit Street Quarters!
*The Caprice is my favourite* I've never heard a better sounding car ! Here in Central Europe it would rule the road ! I would love it ! Happy the Birthday to Doug ! Put a ring on it !
I want the c4 so bad Alex it’s ridiculous… been looking for a nice c4 ever since I’d seen your first auction yard vid on it. 17 years old in northwest Indiana Gary area hard to find anything in my budget
Love the channel, Alex. Great entertainment, and I can tell you're a genuine person. These update videos are a great chance for fans to reminisce on older projects.
I have all these exact same cars I also want to sell, so this is very useful!
*Um... maybe you don't know how supply and demand work, so this is very UNUSEFUL to you, since his cars will take first and best money.*
@@m4rvinmartian no I think I can get exact same price because I'm a better car fixer than Alec
Alex is a solid guy. I’m enjoying watching him progress. Best of luck.
Everything must go!
Great video! How awesome is Alex to give a fan a ride and meet. Hands down the best car TH-camr. Looking forward to the next GTR and Porche LS videos.
You’re funny Alex, crazy interest rates were in the 1980s. If you wanted to shop/home in the 1980s, your loan interest rate was 18%. These current interest rates actually very normal currently. What we experienced in the last decade due to low demand was not normal and we all got used to it.
Alex' positive nervousness around the subscriber shows that he's a real one.
Love your videos man!
Yup! I said he needed a larger space a few episodes back! Besides, gotta keep up with Tavarish & Hoovie!
Hoovie was born on 3rd base, so it would take awhile to catch up with him.
Normally for me. This would have been just another "car guy that I enjoy watching" but the end got me. The fan meet up was so genuine it brought a tear to my eye. Thank you, Alex for being you
What a cool girlfriend...👏👏👏 Well done ma'am
Thanks. It was so hard keeping it from him. He knew nothing, not even what city we were going to. He's absolutely on cloud nine today.
@@StephanieBiletodefinitely well done so cool of you! And I know you have a boyfriend but gosh you’re gorgeous!
It's pretty damn cool to see how far you have came. Coming from a home garage to your own shop and now you need a bigger shop. Glad to see you are doing so well, I hope the success for you keeps going up!!
I think you need more vintage Japanese cars in your collection, Mitsubishi Colt Gallant GTO GSR!!
American cars!
@@michaelm3381 American cars are beautiful, but doesn't hurt to get a couple of rare vintage Japanese cars other than the Skyline and RX7.
They guy test driving the Porsche seems like he really liking that car and the way he was smiling he really liked the car and that was cool what you did for the guy birthday giving him a ride he really enjoyed it so cool
Alex why not move out of Chicago into a completely different city and get more bang for your buck? Come down to Louisville, it's a super cool city, very cost affordable and I'll let you take my RWB 964 Porsche for a rip!
Ask the current owners what they've done, if the cars still run, did they resell or keep them, etc...
He tried running it with the cats unhooked and it still went into limp mode, so not the issue.
Alex you are the best! The way you bring smiles to the car community is just awesome.
Alex and LSC is my #1 channel to watch every single Saturday.. He is the most down to earth TH-camr I have ever watched.
I had a '94 LT1 Caprice Wagon (woody with rallye wheels...super cool!...and super practical dad car!) and my kids (now adults) loved it for the rear-facing back seat too.
Man I love that you meet up with viewers every now and again. You're very authentic. Good luck with the sale of your cars! 😃
Hello Alex , free advice.
You’re doing Everything right ALREADY!!! Keep this location and continue to MAKE it
Work . Efficiency of SPACE pays tenfold . Just keep selling your projects when done .
Alex lm older and have learned this the Bigger the Space .. the more you STORE and for
WHAT ? Sending a big hug to yah and the family.
I started watching you when I got my cl55 amg but fell in love with everything you do... Saturday ain't complete without an episode
Alex I really hope I get the opportunity to meet you one day! You’re an amazing Ambassador for the car community but you’re also an awesome person and MOST importantly you’re an awesome Dad! You’re showing your kids that hard work and perseverance while it isn’t easy, it is rewarding and will bring you happiness. Keep up these awesome videos we can’t wait to see what comes next!!!
Hey Alex, I hope you read this comment. I feel you when you talk about the Trans Am. I saw the emotion in your eyes while you told the story about it. It’s just something we car guys feel. Someday not to far we will meet. Your videos are my Saturday early morning show!
Best luck with the new shop project!
Cheers from Spain!
The look on his face and that slight smile on the first launch...says it all! Made his day for sure. :-)
My favorite TH-cam automotive channels are LSC and Vicegrip Garage. 2 genuine good guys. 👍
Awesome that you met with a fan. Love your channel and appreciate your generosity!
Sad to see the Caprice leave! One of my favorite and dream cars! If able, can you do some more videos on it?
Love to see you grow Alex. Keep up the good work. Love the channel. Cheers from Argentina
Hey Alex, Such a great video. Making yourself available to your fans is awesome. I am out in the western burbs. Look forward to attending any summer meet ups you have planned.
I love when guys drive fast, fun cars, and they just smile the whole time. You know that feeling if you've experienced it.
Happy Birthday my dude!!! Alex you are the man, my bday is in March and I’m in North Carolina in case you need extra time to plan 😂
Could always build a shop in Indiana. Cheaper Land & taxes for sure but that probably require you moving. My goal is to buy a chunk of land build a house and put a shop in the back. So when I go to work I only have to walk to my backyard.
16k for that corvette is a great price!
Also same here, will not get rid of my 2000 trans am (Named it Ori, because she is half Orielly's)
