Sweet I just bought one bobbed out already 1986... sold my 1300 Suzuki.. sold my 750 honda aero efi .. sold my 1982 Suzuki gs450..sold my Yamaha 650 ...back to where it all started on a honda rebel ...except I looked a little cooler cause it’s bobbed out rat rodded complete with scratches dents sanded down tank ..I love it ..I don’t ride much freeways etc just back roads in the country - perfect bike
Great bike I got my 15 in 17 with 19 miles on it . One year later it was bobed and at local bile nights. No one spoke to me when I was around bike . But it sure had a lot of people looking and admiring it when I came out side . Many bikers are good people and don't care less what you ride. JUST AS LONG AS YOU RIDE 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Fantastic job, i wish i had a garage, i'm disabled and fotta make it on what i get. When i come into some cash im gonna meve and have one . Waaaaay cool i want to do one in 500cc
Thanks man! I actually just picked up a new 2019 Yamaha wr250r. Gonna start documenting some stuff and getting some VLOG videos going. Moved to Western Canada and now have a dual sport, things have changed!
john carlson it was a 2000 if I recall? Pretty much the same from the 80s to like 2002, bike barely changed. Had forward foot pegs, I’m 6’1 and I fit, it was small but ridable
Amigo como hago para pasar de dos carburadores a uno, mi moto es 250cc y es la copia de la Honda rebel y quiero ponerle un solo carburador. Saludos desde El Salvador.
It's a usa thing , single carbs are not available any where . You can get single intakes off ebay. Then duel carbs, separate carbs and use right side carb . Must rejet and I believe choke function will have to be deleted or modified .
You’d probably be running too lean, I don’t recall exactly, I just bought a mix of jets off of some website. You can find information on your elevation and would work best for yea
Hien Hoang Check for local steel places, for the most part I just used stuff that was laying around, but it’s all pretty readily available at lots of different places
EuroMotive Garage sweet thanks man. I got a 250 rebel that I want to bobber. Do you know if I can use the stock rear shocks? And for the bobber seat do I just bolt it on over the existing screw holes or do I got to drill new new ones?
A waste of a perfectly good cycle ! I’ve been building and customizing bikes over 40 years and a fast way to ruin one is to “bob” it. Unpractical , ugly and most of the time unsafe. Only an idiot would butcher a bike thinking their customizing it. Worth more stock.

Did you just cut the muffler off and straight pipe it? To make it louder I would assume
Myles Hann its been straight piped and rejetted
Great build
Thanks! It was fun, no longer have it though
What did you jet ur Honda with ? I want to straight pipe mine and take the intake off eventually. can I run stock jets with just straight pipe?
You’d probably be running too lean, I don’t recall exactly, I just bought a mix of jets off of some website. You can find information on your elevation and would work best for yea
Does it have any baffles inside the exhaust ?
no, it was straight through
Where do you get the steel for fabricating parts like bobber seat mounting brackets or rear fender mounting brackets and supports?
Hien Hoang Check for local steel places, for the most part I just used stuff that was laying around, but it’s all pretty readily available at lots of different places
Can I also just get a bobber style rest fender and taillight kit and bobber seat without doing all this other stuff?
Hien Hoang for sure, i didnt run a rear fender, but its all pretty simple stuff

do you have to cut the back or just remove it ? i want this bike and i really want to know
The only thing cut on the frame was the rear shock mounts to lower it.
@@Vanabond oh great! thank you for the reply ! your bikes looks awesome looking forward for something like that :D
master sifu no problem! And thanks haha was a fun project, haven’t had it for a few years now though. My buddy owns it now
ok but I feel targeted by the song
Did you extend the swing arm
MOTO INFIDEL no, only moved the rear shock mounts back 2 inches
What was the reason of moving the shocks? Is this something I'll have to do?
