Wow great video! I was looking for a video that shows the limits of what the Rebel 250 could do. Rebel 250 videos like these are a rare bread these days. Hard to find videos with clearer 1080p footage much less 4K which is what we see here.
Is the small ticking noise normal? I only asked because I just got a Honda rebel going that was sitting since 2017 and it's got that slight tick and I don't know if something's wrong with it or if that's just how the motor is. It sounds good. When you rev it 🤷🏽♂️
@@IEatCheerios I don't own the bike anymore but unless it's significantly loud it should be okay. Worst thing you'd have to do is maybe check valve clearance but it isn't likely anything else
Hondas have valve clearances that need to be checked and sometimes need adjusting after you check them. Sometimes the valve adjustment is based on milage. In my Honda Accord's manual it says only adjust if they are noisey. Worth looking into, won't happen overnight, but hundreds of miles of worn shims especially in Honda motorcycles, would score up the cam lobes or journals overtime.
we purchased a 2016 rebel with 1200 miles on it this year, it has some minor valve noise...better loose than tight. It's way less than my Triumphs and Harleys had. Also check the headlight bezel, grab it when you hear the noise and see if the noise stops....they're notorious for that. Easy fix, google it.

@@arbiter6452 Just saw this, but thanks! Unfortunately I have moved on to a bigger bike (Harley 883) but enjoyed the Rebel a lot!
they need to put this shit on peloton tvs
My honey!
I’m 250 pounds does that matter I just wanna cruise around town
@@coryplace6965 That shouldn't be an issue; the only issues I ever had with the Rebel were maintaining freeway speeds going uphill
