Forrest fires are massive when they happen. The point of firewatch is to try to spot them in the early stages, not necessarily so they can be taken out early, which is a plus if that can happen, but more so plans can be made surrounding the fire and how to deal with it, because they grow and move over the landscape very very quickly, much more quick than most people think. Miles a day usually. If fires can be spotted early then evacuations can be made and smokejumpers (firefighters trained and profess in wildfires - very dangerous job, mad respect to them) can make plans for coordination how to best contain the fire. I say “contain” because it’s much easier to try to stop it from spreading and letting it die out on its own, than it is trying to put it out. Usually works better, too.

I actually never thought the goal was about just getting off the island. It always seemed to be about faith versus science and why the island seemed to need people as much as people needed it. I thought the time travel and sideflash world were cool additions to the show and really spiced up the later seasons. I am not a huge fan of season 4 and a lot of 6 is meh but overall I love the entire show.

It's the idea of 'running away, but your problem will never just leave' Henry ran away from his reality of his wife being sick so he took the job but the job itself is a reflection of his wife who is left alone with only her sister and nurses same as Henry is alone with deliah who he believe he's flirting/falling in love with but it's all in his head.. he tried to run but ended up in the same place, fell in love but his love was taker. Wife with dementia Deliah who didn't love him but he believed she did. Least that's what I picked. The rest of the game is exactly what it is.

Pewdiepie took down the content regardless out of respect. He didn't get sued or anything though.
