If this theory is true and he is indeed the Prince of Light then all those Mfs saving for Dainsleif in 7.0 won't see Dainsleif • Imbibitor Lunae coming in 7.3...
@@thewanderingartistsI think there was a chinese character card like for playable character posted on twitter before release and second being the assertion that every character in teyvat storyline trailer will be playable atleast till now.
If the heavenly principles is the night mother and Dain is the third descender(aka brother and sister), then in that one genshin trailer where he says "Show me that you are worthier than I to rescue her" maybe he is talking about the heavenly principles and not the travelers sibling.
Tbh, for a while, it was getting less and less likely that Dainsleif was talking about the sibling as the story gave us more and more characters that could also be the person that Dainsleif refers to. And thinking about it, considering the abyss sibling's gender can change base on who you choose as the Traveler, this was probably always unlikely (just something I never thought about since Hoyo likes to use the male Traveler when promoting the game so I figure this was one of those times). Even before Sumeru, I was suspect that the line was referring to Paimon and not the sibling to show how early it was beginning to seem like who Dainleif is referring to may or may not be the sibling. But now, we have quite a few candidates at this point (possibly). lol Honestly, right now, we have a number of possibilities that it's impossible to say who Dainsleif is referring to at this point.
Something interested I noticed at 15:07 is that these symbols spelled backwards (Aksh) sound very similar to Akasha, a system of information created using the dendro gnosis which Nahida still has access to (via her elemental skill). Not sure about the implications of it but it's still something interesting to note
Akasha wasn't created using Gnosis, it was just powered by it. The basis for Akasha was Rukkhadevata's abilities as avatar of Irminsul. It could still be used after Gnosis was gone if there was enough energy (as seen in Nahida's quest).
Nahidas skill has nothing to do with the Akasha system, the akasha is shut down. Her skill allows her to read minds because she can innately read/invade/takeover people’s minds. She just doesn’t like doing so
it´s like quantum reality and almost all of this things among irminsul is like holographic memory of universe which means something like quantum world in that world everything can be created and also wiped and changed by that world itself or beings in it which resembles matrix a bit but this type of processes are happening in quantum computers and naturally happens in really cold places in really small scale so i thing mihoyo is not only inspired by fairytales but also in science to some degree
Well... He's very likely not going to have a vision, your right about that. lol That seems pretty obvious. Doubt he's going to be full physical though. Most obvious answer seems to be whatever element the equivalent of Quanta in Genshin will be, but who knows.
This just sparked the inner Honkai demon in me. HI3 spoilers below. Mobius, the Infinite Ouroboros, wields a weapon made from the remains of the Honkai Beast Sesa. Kevin Kaslana also has Honkai Beasts Brahma Kukulkan. The parallels are just sitting there, but I don’t think it’s much of a stretch considering one of the very first genshin theories was that it was an extension of the Elysian Realm created by Dr. Mobius. I’m definitely not letting the fact that both Dain and Mobius have Ouroboros on them go
Hi! We have some strange moment about virtuality in GI: when you open up character menu, in one moment you can watch grid on char and place around you. this was always in game, and too much si-fi and metaverce for GI in this tiny nuanse
there is also the theory that Teyvat, which means Ark in Hebrew, is a bubble universe made through Project Ark to protect humanity from the honkai. It would explain why we can see Dvalin from Genshin in HI3 as a certain character looks through other universes
yeah that was one of the big honkai-genshin theories that happened at the start of the game, especially since the welkin moon lady resembled aponia greatly
3:40 about the link between Dainsleif and tree : in the genshin trailer (that give teaser for the story of the 7 region), when a speak of "power from beyond" and raise his "arm", his "arm" look like the petrified tree that we can see at deferent places. (this, you can say it)
This theory is strong. I was digging into the "Record of Jueyun" and I found something intersting of note. That the Seelie may not have been a race, but more like the Pari and are fragements of the Pale Princess.
Ahh the Shattered Halberd Dain, nice to know he is the sword Kaeya's grandpa was hiding all along. It makes the interaction between Dain and Kaeya even more sus from Caribert quest, almost like Dain started Kaeya down his path towards destiny...
Amazing theory and video! btw since 4.2 i pretty much wrote here and there that i believe Furina and Fontaine is foreshadowing what will happen with Dain and Khaenri'ah in some shape of form. Furina being foreshadowing for Dain specifically. but i had a different take on it. i thought that the curse of pure blooded Khanerians was that as long as "The Sinner" lives then they won't die(immorality) just like how Focalors's curse was that as long as she(divinity) remains then Furina(humanity) won't die. but with this theory of yours adding new context, i can take this even further and say that the "The Sinner" in the crystal is the memories of Dainsleif when he was the light prince(3rd descender), you know a voice in the crystal, just like the voice in the Oratrice(Focalors). their end might be "The Sinner" dying and immortality disappearing, just like how Focalors died and Furina's immortality disappeared. Hell Focalors even said during the cutscene that the time for judgement for the sinner has come, the cutscene is literally called "Sinner's finale". i think she is supposed to be parallel for "The Sinner" in the crystal.
6:55 THE MUSIC MAKES IT SO MUCH MORE EPIC WHEN U SAY THAT also the kaveh/nahida segment was so good especially when the music picked up at 16:15 Also the music at the end of the video!
Unsurprisingly, this would mean that Venti has been trying to explain the plot through allegory from the beginning. Susty being analogous to Hel would make sense, with her “half dead, half alive” look. And Dain being akin to Jormungandr and possibly Nidhogg fits what we know about his constellation and titles. But that gets me thinking, Loki had another child that would help being about the Twilight of the Gods; Fenrir. So in the narrative sense, who would that be? The twins? It is kind of a stretch, but Fenrir did have two wolf children Sköll and Hati which would chase the Sun and Moon and devour them during Ragnarok. So maybe the Traveler and Abyss Sibling together function in that allegorical capacity?
Hear me out. I play Tears of Themis (yet another hoyoverse game) solely to hunt lore tips and my time to shine has come so I'll place here some random infos about one of the characters that might be of use for such a big brain as yours. The reason I'm bringing him up (and also the reason I started playing ToT) is because his symbol is a snake forming an infinity symbol, so I'll make the list of sus things that relate him to this specific video of yours. 1) This guy, Marius Von Hagen, is the second heir (lol) to the Pax Group. His brother, Giann, was assigned to a secret project overseas and after that he went missing. No one has a clue where he is. Pax Group, as the name says, has many strands such as Pax Capital, Pax Real State, Pax Pharmaceutical, Pax Entertainment, etc... All of them with different snake symbols. Some even have the snake forming an "S" for no specific reason. 2) Members of the Von Hagen Family direct line carry a token during formal gatherings, a ring of a snake biting it's own tail and also the family crest. The family crest is called the Aquarian Serpent and I quote the description Hoyoverse gives of it: "The Marine Serpent, ancestor to the dragons of legend. The aquarian serpent has served as the Von Hagen family's emblem for over a century. It symbolizes a water serpent the flew above the ocean's depths and pierced the clouds to soar beyond the horizon. It embodies the wishes and efforts of the Von Hagen's family ancestors". His father, Austin Von Hagen, is currently semi-retired but shows up always carrying the family crest and for a serpent it looks terribly with a dragon. 4) His birthday is June 21. This is the date of the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere, as the day with the most daylight hours. If I could bet right now I'd say Dain's birthday will probably be this one too. 5) He's a painter (don't know about you but I count this as a form of creation). When he paints he uses the name Z so people don't know his true identity. Now that I think about it, mirroring the Z is almost like we have another S, huh? 6) In Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen, which I don't have to explain the importance at this point, "Hagen" is who kills the hero Siegfried. Siegfried being the legendary hero known for killing a dragon (Fáfnir), of all things. Fáfnir is a dragon described as flightless and snake-like. In chinese, 陆 is his surname, referring to land above water. 7) In game we play as an attorney that joins a secret investigation team of 5 people (counting with yourself) that investigates vestiges of a forbidden drug, of sorts. Is kinda ToT's forbidden knowledge counterpart. Everyone has their own codename in this team and Marius codename is King. I'm sure that are more similarities that will fit here but I could only think of those at the moment. All that said, my personal thoughts are that IF his character is the counterpart of Dain and also the dragons descendants, I'm inclined to believe that the glorious kingdom among the heavens is more related to the dragon king (the aquarian serpent) than we thought. As a point of curiosity there's also (probably) a counterpart of Neuvillette in one of the main characters (Vyn) and although is not as obvious as in Marius case, is showing a lot of signs little by little. AND that's it. Sorry for the long comment I'm just always in need to dump some Tears of Themis content since there aren't many players of it. Hope it's useful somehow. Thanks for yet another amazing theory video (I'll probably stay here watching it again for 10 more times until my slow brain can grasp all the difficult words, hehe).
@@whystaroth Actually, I am not cooking anything for a while. I just found the stuff you wrote interesting so I left a comment to return to it later. I will be shifting my focus towards the Narzissenkreuz Ordo and Azhdaha for the next few videos until the new year.
I wish i could comment pictures but if you look at the celtic symbol on dain's chest you'll see that the blue substance in there matches the strange water that flows in the fort charybodis ruins where we open the seals of chymical marriage. When you stand in that strange water you aren't affected with hydro, so it isn't hydro or water. However, when you first open the seals and let the liquid flow you'll see that theres suddenly an option to investigate the water but when you do, only artifacts and weapons will be obtained. Artifacts and weapons are a form of manifested memory in genshin (blue particles are released by the irminsuls in domains) and even when playable characters die they release blue energy. All they essay just makes me think that whatever dain's element is, whatever the blue liquid and blue particles are they are related to memory. This matches the theory that dain is the third descender because the outlander lost their memory. Whatever the story ends up as I enjoyed this theory video and I love how crazy it is! what I especially love about your videos is that you bring up very useful information regardless of the theory, which means that even if the theory ends up being wrong or people disagree with you, there is still a lot of valuable ideas and information! (this is something I feel other lore youtubers dont do most of the time)
I am always impressed every time I watch this man's video.. Man this might be wrong for all I care but I everything seems soo right.. This man's video deserves more views.
At the end of aranyaka quest after we dance with aranara's and get that flower crown , i don't exactly remember the name of the particular aranara i believe it's araraja or something like the elder brown one.. he discloses the name of greater lord rukkhadevata as arayani ( meaning the mother of forest something close to that)... from the above video i can pretty much agree with u because goddess lakshmi has several other names and one among them being narayani ( meaning the other half of narayana aka lord vishnu.) Really love watching ur videos and enjoy the hinduism spice-ups hoyo brings in a while. At first i was a bit skeptical to trying to relate the hinduism folklore to gnoticism but thanks to ur refernces i no longer have doubts and would really be eager to give u tid bits of correlation in the future as well. Keep them videos coming out more often mate really would love to contribute more.
Interesting ideas but the deciphering of the element feels like Half Life 3 conspiracy meme territory, I think it would be more efficient to ask a linguist to do an analysis. The most interesting part of the video to me is the Moon, which is the fundamental motif to Hoyoverse as a whole, not just in Genshin with a large portion of lore related to the moon and names like Liyue and Mondstadt being named after the Moon as "Glassy Moon" and "Moon City" Hoyoverse's very first game was FlyMe2TheMoon featuring Kiana as the girl flying to the moon, Kiana is also the main character of most of Hoyoverse's games and in every game she sacrifices and flies to the Moon as her destiny. Kiana is compared by Sushang in Honkai Impact to the Chinese Moon Goddess, Chang'e. In Chinese myths Chang'e took the elixir of immortality and exiled herself to the moon, sacrificing herself by taking the curse of immortality away from humanity. In Genshin Kiana is the Unknown God and we might meet her in the end on the Moon, or she is the Moon herself. The reason I think so is because in every game above, the Moon is the where the ending takes place, it represents the place where Destiny takes place and we must overcome, it is where the Herrscher of The End and Herrscher of Finality is. And in Honkai 3rd the Cocoon of Finality is based on Andy Weir's The Egg, where it contains an entity, The Will of Honkai that is actually an entity that represents the universe trying to understand itself, which as Kiana describes, a Mirror. The Moon is a mirror that reflects upon Teyvat, and Teyvat must one day transcend the moon and beat their own reflection in order to go beyond the Firmament.
"Interesting ideas but the deciphering of the element feels like Half Life 3 conspiracy meme territory, I think it would be more efficient to ask a linguist to do an analysis." So... apparently a redditor a long while ago actually communicated with multiple linguists to translate the visual and they came to the same conclusion that it very likely spelling out "Sesa" (this is was already mentioned in the comment section here, so you may have already read it). So... yeah. This has already been done before. lol But it's probably hard to say definitively even with linguists with how the letters are written. Otherwise, people would have probably cracked what the words are trying to say a long time ago.
If Dainsleif is associated with Ragnarok, then I'm curious what the outworlders' stake in Teyvat is. Surtalogi is the flaming sword of Surtr, which is said he will use during Ragnarok to set fire to the world, after all
If this is the case, its kinda cool having an in depth reason for why Dain cant talk about characters like Wanderer. Since he was “wiped” from irminsil, how is someone who got their info on characters from irminsel supposed to know anything about them. 😭 (this *does* also make me wonder what the in lore explanation is for characters like Aloy though.) As for Paimon possibly being the pale princess who married Dain, I’ve weirdly had that thought quite a few times over the past year or so. Just a strange feeling in my gut. The only problem was actually thinking Genshin would do that. But seeing now how much we’ve learned since, maybe I wasn’t that wrong😂
@@forsenE nah they definitely don’t *need* one. But the fact everything in this game so far has a detailed reason for existing, I’m just wondering if they came up with something for her as well. Or other future crossover characters if they ever continue down that line.
I mean, I guess Aloy is from Horizon Zero Dawn, and somehow travelled to the world of Teyvat. And THEN somehow was granted a Vision. This means that outsiders CAN be granted a Vision. Now I guess the real question is does that mean Aloy is exempt from Irminsul changes or not?
@@Iffem Yes... She does... I mean, it looks slightly different to other characters', but it's there. It also glows in the presence of starsplinter, which Venti and Zhongli's don't, confirming it's real.
if dain is the 3rd descender that would make him thousands of yrs old because he would have been dead before the archon war. and somehow end up in khanreiah and got got curse of immortality.
loved how when you were being overly dramatic you switched to Kaveh LMFAO i also didnt miss when you were talking about mirrors you had Alhaitham and Kaveh out. nice.
Half way through the last video i thought since Paimon is likely a seele and it is hinted to have lost her memories and power and shrunk what if she is Dainsleif's wife. And lo and behold you mention it in this one.
(So sorry if you already saw this-not seeing the comment I thought I left so quickly leaving it again just incase!) Wanted to point out a slight correction that the "Io, Io, Pan!" line doesn't actually originate from that poem. It's from Sophocles' play Ajax! Super interesting, thematically-relevant read if you haven't already! (And quick too-it's a short play). Highly recommend! :~) Anyway: super love your videos. Obsessed with the energy you bring to them-you always sound exactly the way I feel when I start thinking about Genshin lore. I find myself looking forward to your lore videos the most out of any other lore content creators.
Going by this a few things make sense like how the entry to khanriah is below sumerus desert, how the one eyed sage aka mr harbringer boss went there.and assuming dainsleif is the light, why nahida says that the sun is gone or rather without power as i would put it. Also that his element is somewhat gibberish might be cause its torn apart? Like how the gnosis are spread apart. So the tsaritsa perhaps wants to give dain his stuff back.or she was the one in love with him,and him being gone is what made her so distant? Anyways good job prof. Jackson
Before watching: my guess is Dainsleif will somehow let you choose between elements or take on the element of something else during combat, based on the Iniquitous Baptist description saying that the abyss can control elements 'However, even the elements of gods can be entrapped and distorted before they are subsumed to become tools of the abyssal will. Just judging from outcomes and practical use, "Abyssal powers" seem little different from elemental items, from ones as paltry as the Treasure Hoarders' elemental containers to those as powerful as Visions...'
I dont play genshin regularly , just for the lore and the archon quest. And usually watch lore videos and such. I have never seen someone as crazy and detailed like you. There is wei, islandxd and ashikai and others who can cook. But you are on another layer of universe. Everytime you cook, its like you cooking the whole universe mixing time and space. Atleast my mind becomes mush trying to remember the legends the story and the mythology you want to tie everything up with. You have become my favourite youtuber
Can we go back to Paimon being the Seele that married the outlander? You claim that that outlander is Dain, so Paimon is his wife? This feels weird but it almost makes sense. Another layer on there is what if, from their union, they had a child. Actually, what if they had two? Twins, maybe? This is all very strange and like a weird fanfic no one asked for. However, if Hoyoverse ends up turning this into Kubo and the Two Strings 2.0, I don't know what I'll do with myself.
Do you know the animated movie "Kubo"? He was a boy born from the daughter of the Moon King and a Samurai, both of whom were cursed. The Samurai had his memories taken/tampered with and he had been transformed into a Beetle. The mother, desperately 😢 to run and hide from her father and sisters to keep Kubo safe is, eventually "killed." (She is transformed into a monkey and travels with her son as they try to find Kubo's father's legacy.)
This is just an idea but what if skirk says the gnosis are cursed objects because they hold certain parts of Dains memories cursed to repeat it. I dont know if there is substantial enough evidence for this but it seems to make sense to me. Dainsleif knowing how the story will playout before hand suggests he knows its a samsara. And not just any sumsara but one where his past is reflected in teyvat through the gnosis that skirk mentioned. Im not sure how mondstadt fits in other then having not one but two corrupted dragons. One that even while dead still seems to have a beating heart. Liyue might be reference to how absulute power can be lonely. When rex lapis a dragon died not much could be done to help or prevent it. This i also think is a bit weak. I cant draw any conclusions for inazuma other than emotional stuff. ( The only eternity that exists is the samsara of destruction creation and sustaining) but if dainsleif is based of jormungunder then he and thor never liked each other and maybe something different happens. Its later on now though that seems to mirror dainsleif really well. Sumeru is interesting because there is quite alot that has potential connections to dainsleif. Irminsul being one of the largest. What if like rukhedevata dainsleif implanted and took refuge in irminsul in a weakened and potentially corrupted state. I think there are other connections but this is already a wall of text. Next is fontain where focalor was able to split his divinity/memories from a human form. It seems this is what was done to him by celestia as punishment for fighting the heavens. This also where we learned dragons can take on human form. Natlan is still verry vague since we dont have a lot of info on it so its up in the air. I believe i read in books talking qbout the 3rd descender like they died after the battle. If that is true then maybe dain had to in some way get reborn like a phoneix that was once light turned to dust when he lost. Snezhnaya also doesnt have alot of info but i still think connections can be made. The first sentence is "she is a god with no love left for her people, nor do they have any left for her" i think this mirrors dain well. The twin had said that dain didnt save khanria like he could or should have leading to a sense of betrayal. We also see that dain doesnt really seem to care that much about the seelies or other khanrians. Half dan seems to be the exception to this. However he even is immediately standoffish with kaeya. The tsaritsa is also gathering power just like dain is in pursuit of toppling celestia. In the end of the storyline preview it also seems like hes talking about how celestia looks down upon anyone who is not them. It also seams that he knows hes cursed to repeat the samsara. This might be why he is guiding us through teyvat and aiding us in discovering new things. I think he knows we are a descender like him and that he was not the outside varriable needed to break the wheel. Im not sure this is a good theory or not.
Let him cook? This is the equivalent of burning a marshmallow in a campfire and then letting it burn all the way off the stick and then licking the burnt stick. I came in here for a light snack then this guy bashed me over the head with a cornucopia
There’s one thing I know, or at least am almost certain of. The abyss power is Genshin quantum power. I’ve seen it have the quantum symbol at least twice, the we will be reunited cutscene it has the symbol and the orb Skirk holds has the symbol although it’s not as obvious
Yesterday I watched a short video about Mexica mythology (Aztec term is incorrect) and it reminded me the meaning of “Surtalogi” It’s about the origin of their main god: Huitzilopochtli or "Left-Handed Hummingbird" is the god of war, solar devotion and patron of the Mexica. When he was born, fought their 400 siblings and his older sister in defense of he and his mother (she is also worth investigating), with the most powerful weapon of mexica gods described as a “fire snake” called Xuihcóatl that’s fits with the term of a dragon In mesoamerica the term dragon doesn’t exist but they have beings who fits the bill, also they make differences between snakes and “powerful and divine” snakes. We can say the dragons equivalents of the prehispanic era are like somewhat as the asian dragons Idk if it’s helpful but as a mexican I found it interesting and wanted to point out Edit: About the mother in resume: The myth of Coatlicue For the Nahua world, duality was of great importance. Therefore, many deities represent two extremes of the same idea. Coatlicue is no exception. She is the mother goddess who on the one hand is the fertile earth and on the other is also the death that consumes every living being. Coatlicue is the Mexica deity of earth and fertility. She is the mother goddess of Huitzilopochtli, god who represents the sun, and Coyolxauhqui, goddess who represents the moon. Always carved with a skirt made of snakes and hands in the shape of claws, Coatlicue is the deity who gives rise to life and consumes the dead. According to pre-Hispanic myth, Coatlicue is the mother of 400 children who would later become stars and she also gave birth to Coyolxauhqui. One day, the goddess was cleaning Coatepec (or snake hill) when a feather miraculously fertilized her and the god Huitzilopochtli began to grow in her womb. The moment Coyolxauhqui and his brothers found out that their mother was pregnant again, they organized themselves with the aim of murdering her. What they did not expect is that the youngest son would be a warrior. As soon as she came out of Coatlicue's womb, Huitzilopochtli defended her, murdering her brothers and dismembering her sister, who ended up becoming the night stars: the moon and the stars.
I'm very surprised that you mentioned Sesa, because more than a year ago a guy in reddit came up with a theory where he needed to talk with multiple linguist to try translate the symbols in Dain's element. After a long while he came back and yes, the translation obtained was also Sesa. This person has a wildly different take, but is worth to mention. This has been a rollercoaster, but is an interising theory non the less. It has multiple problems like timeline, the fact that Dainsleif is stated has a pure blood, the whole pincess/prince of Khaenri'ah devotion becoming a nonsense if they already have the third descender, the gigant strech in some arguments and many other loose strings, but i liked the effort behind it, even if the result is kinda fragile, you got a new subscriber ^^
I have the link to their post in the description. I am aware of it, I just don't agree with some of the points they made. However, considering that their theory was years before we got information that is relevant to this topic, it is extremely well written and researched (I would say one of the best ever when we take into account long-lasting impact). Albeit with a few outdated points.
There are no "timeline problems" in the theory. In fact, out of everything you listed the only thing that remotely makes sense is Dain having Primogem Eyes. Everything else is either wrong or due to your misunderstanding of the story/implications of the theory.
@@RukkhaRukkha I agree, the timeline argument is incredibly weak. I suppose you could argue for the other reasons to some capacity but still, there are other alternative counterarguments which the op already talked about in the videos leading up to this.
dain's blue flame power keeps reminding me of the yokai blue flames like in akitsu kimodameshi event, idk if they're related or just coincidence but they look sooo similar
This was a lot and not gonna pretend I followed anything you said but right at the end, I don't care if sibling was right. Dainsleif is a husbando so he's default trustworthy, I don't make the rules. Jokes aside, it would be interesting to see "why" he wouldn't be trustworthy considering the twin more or less calls out his lack of ability to stop celestia the reason he's a "traitor"; I think it's still a combination of them being tied to teyvat now and being confused on the true reality compared to an edited reality. No reasonable person would think that Dainsleif is bad for the reason they presented (at that time, there may be more). Plus that doesn't change the other crimes of celestia, nor that the twin is trying to do something to "cure" khaenri'ah. And what about Kaeya's ancestor basically saying that our twin wasn't what they promised to be yet they still seem to be working toward the same goal... hmmm. This is also interesting from the perspective of those wondering who exactly will be resurrected in Natlan, presumably using the gnoses.
BIG DISCOVERY. The princess of Sal Vindagnyr is the pale princess! The princess of Sal Vindagnyr was born underneath the frost bearing tree. Making her a tree spirit! In the Byakuyakoku Collection: "The Parable of the Tree", "The king's gardener and the tree spirit of the royal garden were in love.". Even the princess of Sal Vindagnyr loses her memory! If you're wondering how an event can be recorded before it had happened. Keep in mind that the Byakuyakoku Collection was written by Istaroth's scribe.
Saw this when I wasn't logged in, so I'm back to make sure it gets the like it deserves. I always get hyped up hearing your energetic presentation for lore and so far I haven't seen a video of yours that I haven't loved. Keep up the amazing work and I hope life's treating you as well as you're treating us with these dope reveals!
7:06 i totally not screamed No 😱😱😱 this actually makes so much sense!! If his body was compatible with all elements as ours and it was split into gnosis then it makes perfect sense his power is all elements combined. 🤔 wait.. How do we know his divinity was used not the body? Neuillette talks about our body being compatible with all elements. Doesnt it mean that probably the body (aka remains) of 3rd descender were used? Could it be thrn that he s the opposite of Focalor where his divinity is alive🤔 i am lost. I also actually think that like any other quests in genshin Furina s story is decinitely forshadowing future major events.
I honestly thought the symbols were going to end up being Akasha backwards, but Sesa makes sense with some mental yoga (the mental yoga bit is a joke, not meant to be given as an insult).
Oh oh! someone finally talk about kaeya! You don't know how happy I am when you mentioned him along with night mother, I've been speculating him since the veruliyam event and guessing that he might straight up lying about what he said in the caribert quest (read his character story 4), and since then things gone wrong (good) so quickly for me I've been meaning to write comments under your video but I refrain, I've been very kaeya centric about whole thing with genshin so I wonder if people consider checking kaeya back especially he's the one who referencing shakespeare right before fontaine I can't wait for your next video!
Also regarding PO, since everything is mirror, I think the god king in gnostic chorus is PO like the one mentioned in BSAM and the snake of course, the abyss version (related to fischl and maybe surtalogi) just like there are dragons from the light realm and there are abyss dragons 🤔
I was on the edge of my seat wondering if the conclusion was a confirmation that irminsul was the seelie that the traveler from afar fell in love with. But its dainsleif 😢 where is his loveeeer! They must be ruinited
Btw my theory of Irminsul = Seelie lover comes from the parable of the tree in the Byakuyakoku. It made sense to me why the tree is a pearly white color "The Parable of the Tree" The king's gardener and the tree spirit of the royal garden were in love. But the king wished to repair the beams of his pavilion, and so needed to cut down the tree with the most spiritual energy within it. The king was the incarnation of the Primordial One, and the gardener could not defy the sovereign of sovereigns, and so he could only bring his plea to the king's priest, who was the incarnation of Tokoyo Ookami. The priest had pity on the gardener and said to him: "Go, and cut the branches of the spirit-tree down." The gardener did so, and afterward did as the king ordered, cutting the spirit-tree itself down. Then the priest said: "Plant the spirit-tree's branches in the ground." But the gardener said: "A spirit-tree shall take five hundred years to grow." The priest said: "Your one thought shall echo through eternity." And so the gardener planted the branches in his back yard. In an instant, the slim branches grow into a new tree, and the new tree spirit was a continuation of the past one. For it is the God of Moments who is able to take "seeds" from this "moment" into the past and the future.
1:50 i can say that probably if you squeeze a bit of mithology even Nahida can fit there probably Nidhoggr the serpent that eat Yggdrasil, or the dragon guardian of the golden Sheep or the guardian of golden apple with the oceanid (daughter of atlas) in one of the fatigue of Eracles , so apple as well the fruit of knowledge and we go with the snake of adam and eve and so on, ofc Nahida is obviously a Driad a Nymph spirit of the tree and ofc being closer to Elves as well, but those ear mmmm knowing the hinting she can be too inspired to one or even honkai star rail put a dragon that use flower as a weapon freaking Dan Heng Imbibitor lunae ok my autistic butt is calm now mithology is so similar in the world is weird and good at the same time ofc nahida never say she's one and say she's a branch of the tree (so a driad) and if you see apep is a big terraphormer snake so the idea were there but those ear, god there something in there
amazing theory video as always! I'm not one to connect the dots in this game. There's too many info to consider, not that it's a bad thing tho. I've also randomly thought of the same thing about dain and paimon when they gave us the 3rd descender lore drop. Now I'm glad I wasn't being delusional about the thought
:0 I never thought of that but considering that we still don't really know the true purpose behind the gnosis it's possible. It's also possible that celestia also holds a gnosis which is way bigger than the 7 combined.
With the recent revelations about Acheron, I also wonder if there can be more theorized about Dain. Like could he also be a Self-Annihilator/Emanator of Nihility at the same time, or if not, an Emanator of another Aeon instead?
The distant land mentioned in the Hymn of the Pearl is often interpreted as a symbol for the earthly realm or the material world. The journey of the boy represents a soul's experience in the physical world, with the pearl symbolizing spiritual enlightenment or a higher understanding that the soul seeks to attain.
The first letter in Dainsleif's element symbol might be Exi (Ξ) Idk if that would change anything, also couldn't find anything Coptic that matched the 5th or 6th letter tho the 5th letter just looks like a reflected R...
Ik a lot about Hinduism.. cause im one myself and damn tgis theory make sense and i had this thing in my mind when sumeru quest was out… samsara.. it have 4 cycles.. sat yug, treta yug, dvapra yug, and kal yug… and this yug is a period of years and time.. and it goes in cycle
All what you say about Dains is so jnterestungand idk very probable for me. Ive been always curious thay in his splash aet he shows his arm with "blue veins" like ley lines in the trees of the domains.also, in his vid he says the traveler has to confeont him at the end for the right of challenging fate and save the other sibling
I always thought that the point of Dain's 'element' is that, since it's the abyss, related to forbidden knowledge, it's corrupted data. As in, it doesn't make sense because it's literally gibberish.
Still didn't answer why nahida's connection to dragons. and If dain is a descender why does he have the same pupils as khaenrians and has the khaenriah curse.
🤷♀️I can only help by sayin that in another video bro theorises that Dain s curse is not like other khaenria curse (which kinda makes sense, his case is said to be different ) and is more like Furina s curse of immortality that Focalor gave her.
If this theory is true and he is indeed the Prince of Light then all those Mfs saving for Dainsleif in 7.0 won't see Dainsleif • Imbibitor Lunae coming in 7.3...
Tbh, if that's the case, then I hope baseline Dainsleif will be a good support for PoL Dainsleif lmao...
Unironically I want this to be the case
Please no
Where can I read an article that confirms that Dainsleif is playable???
@@thewanderingartistsI think there was a chinese character card like for playable character posted on twitter before release and second being the assertion that every character in teyvat storyline trailer will be playable atleast till now.
Man suddenly showed up in my feed one day and became my favourite Genshin youtuber
Did you notice how when the black serpent in the gnostic chorus is being formed it looks like rainbow light curling around until it's fully formed.
your right, darkness hidden in light
If the heavenly principles is the night mother and Dain is the third descender(aka brother and sister), then in that one genshin trailer where he says "Show me that you are worthier than I to rescue her" maybe he is talking about the heavenly principles and not the travelers sibling.
I think based on this channel theory, the girl Dainsleif talking about in the teyvat travail storyline is his wife, the one who he married
@@TheGeekyRedMageI think the main canon traveller is Aether from the way the story is going
i've been saying this since the travail trailer came out and dainlumi fanbase is so quick to denounce it
Something interested I noticed at 15:07 is that these symbols spelled backwards (Aksh) sound very similar to Akasha, a system of information created using the dendro gnosis which Nahida still has access to (via her elemental skill). Not sure about the implications of it but it's still something interesting to note
Akasha is able to collect, store, and retrieve information. But where from, if not the Irminsul?
Akasha wasn't created using Gnosis, it was just powered by it.
The basis for Akasha was Rukkhadevata's abilities as avatar of Irminsul. It could still be used after Gnosis was gone if there was enough energy (as seen in Nahida's quest).
Nahidas skill has nothing to do with the Akasha system, the akasha is shut down. Her skill allows her to read minds because she can innately read/invade/takeover people’s minds. She just doesn’t like doing so
let’s keep in mind the history of tayvat has been tampered with many times
it´s like quantum reality and almost all of this things among irminsul is like holographic memory of universe which means something like quantum world in that world everything can be created and also wiped and changed by that world itself or beings in it which resembles matrix a bit but this type of processes are happening in quantum computers and naturally happens in really cold places in really small scale so i thing mihoyo is not only inspired by fairytales but also in science to some degree
Tapped on this before the thumbnail was loaded in.
Watch him just not have a vision and be full physical 😂
💀💀💀

3:40 about the link between Dainsleif and tree :
in the genshin trailer (that give teaser for the story of the 7 region), when a speak of "power from beyond" and raise his "arm", his "arm" look like the petrified tree that we can see at deferent places.

The best lore TH-camr is back with an insane video 🔥
My man quite literally don't even got a name
He deserve name

big brain theory youtuber? yes.
This theory is strong. I was digging into the "Record of Jueyun" and I found something intersting of note. That the Seelie may not have been a race, but more like the Pari and are fragements of the Pale Princess.
Interestingly pari (Peri) in Turkish literally means seelie, so it may be symbolic

Ahh the Shattered Halberd Dain, nice to know he is the sword Kaeya's grandpa was hiding all along. It makes the interaction between Dain and Kaeya even more sus from Caribert quest, almost like Dain started Kaeya down his path towards destiny...
Every time this man uploads Genshin gets cooked
The best part is all we call him is a man
Amazing theory and video!
btw since 4.2 i pretty much wrote here and there that i believe Furina and Fontaine is foreshadowing what will happen with Dain and Khaenri'ah in some shape of form.
6:55 THE MUSIC MAKES IT SO MUCH MORE EPIC WHEN U SAY THAT
also the kaveh/nahida segment was so good especially when the music picked up at 16:15
Also the music at the end of the video!
I play Tears of Themis (yet another hoyoverse game) solely to hunt lore tips and my time to shine has come so I'll place here some random infos
about one of the characters that might be of use for such a big brain as yours.
Wow, this is actually cool

@@DragonMJE oh no you're cooking aren't you...
Ps: forgot to mention that in this game every single character has khaenri'ah eyes.
@@whystaroth Actually, I am not cooking anything for a while. I just found the stuff you wrote interesting so I left a comment to return to it later. I will be shifting my focus towards the Narzissenkreuz Ordo and Azhdaha for the next few videos until the new year.
"wagner's der ring des nibelungen"?? isnt the dragon king of the sovereigns named Nibelung? what could it mean?
At the end of aranyaka quest after we dance with aranara's and get that flower crown , i don't exactly remember the name of the particular aranara i believe it's araraja or something like the elder brown one.. he discloses the name of greater lord rukkhadevata as arayani ( meaning the mother of forest something close to that)... from the above video i can pretty much agree with u because goddess lakshmi has several other names and one among them being narayani ( meaning the other half of narayana aka lord vishnu.)

Cool detail
Me: come on it can’t be that crazy
Me few seconds later: help what
Interesting ideas but the deciphering of the element feels like Half Life 3 conspiracy meme territory, I think it would be more efficient to ask a linguist to do an analysis.
The most interesting part of the video to me is the Moon, which is the fundamental motif to Hoyoverse as a whole, not just in Genshin with a large portion of lore related to the moon and names like Liyue and Mondstadt being named after the Moon as "Glassy Moon" and "Moon City"
Hoyoverse's very first game was FlyMe2TheMoon featuring Kiana as the girl flying to the moon, Kiana is also the main character of most of Hoyoverse's games and in every game she sacrifices and flies to the Moon as her destiny.
"Interesting ideas but the deciphering of the element feels like Half Life 3 conspiracy meme territory, I think it would be more efficient to ask a linguist to do an analysis."
So... apparently a redditor a long while ago actually communicated with multiple linguists to translate the visual and they came to the same conclusion that it very likely spelling out "Sesa" (this is was already mentioned in the comment section here, so you may have already read it).
So... yeah. This has already been done before. lol But it's probably hard to say definitively even with linguists with how the letters are written. Otherwise, people would have probably cracked what the words are trying to say a long time ago.
@@TheGeekyRedMage Yea pretty interesting if that's the case, the process is definitely wild though lol
Everytime i see your lore vids. It leaves me with more questions 🙃
The way you hype up things up only to end it with 'it means nothing' reminds me of my old teachers who could keep the class engaged. Love it!
🎉🎉🎉🎉 I have been waiting for this since Dain first appeared
If Dainsleif is associated with Ragnarok, then I'm curious what the outworlders' stake in Teyvat is.
Surtalogi is the flaming sword of Surtr, which is said he will use during Ragnarok to set fire to the world, after all
Surtalogi might be Dains sibling, he's malevolence or perhaps his foil.
If this is the case, its kinda cool having an in depth reason for why Dain cant talk about characters like Wanderer. Since he was “wiped” from irminsil, how is someone who got their info on characters from irminsel supposed to know anything about them. 😭 (this *does* also make me wonder what the in lore explanation is for characters like Aloy though.)
As for Paimon possibly being the pale princess who married Dain, I’ve weirdly had that thought quite a few times over the past year or so. Just a strange feeling in my gut. The only problem was actually thinking Genshin would do that.
But seeing now how much we’ve learned since, maybe I wasn’t that wrong😂
why do they need an in-lore explanation for aloy
@@forsenE nah they definitely don’t *need* one. But the fact everything in this game so far has a detailed reason for existing, I’m just wondering if they came up with something for her as well. Or other future crossover characters if they ever continue down that line.
I mean, I guess Aloy is from Horizon Zero Dawn, and somehow travelled to the world of Teyvat. And THEN somehow was granted a Vision. This means that outsiders CAN be granted a Vision. Now I guess the real question is does that mean Aloy is exempt from Irminsul changes or not?
@@tobyharris4777 Aloy doesn't have a vision

Wanted to point out a slight correction that the "Io, Io, Pan!" line doesn't actually originate from that poem. It's from Sophocles' play Ajax! Super interesting, thematically-relevant read if you haven't already! (And quick too-it's a short play). Highly recommend! :~)
Anyway: super love your videos.
Jackson
Before watching: my guess is Dainsleif will somehow let you choose between elements or take on the element of something else during combat, based on the Iniquitous Baptist description saying that the abyss can control elements
'However, even the elements of gods can be entrapped and distorted before they are subsumed to become tools of the abyssal will.
Just found you today and wow. Just wow. Time to binge all you vids.
How could you mention Kaeya and then cut it off-- I need the lore drop immediately!
Kaeya mains assemble 🙌🏼
Can we go back to Paimon being the Seele that married the outlander? You claim that that outlander is Dain, so Paimon is his wife? This feels weird but it almost makes sense. Another layer on there is what if, from their union, they had a child. Actually, what if they had two? Twins, maybe?
This is all very strange and like a weird fanfic no one asked for. However, if Hoyoverse ends up turning this into Kubo and the Two Strings 2.0, I don't know what I'll do with myself.
I never thought about this but it is interesting. Based on the Hymn of the Pearl, the two Twins should be messengers.
Apologies, my "tried" was auto corrected into cried and then transformed into 😢.
HES COOKING AGAIN!!

There’s one thing I know, or at least am almost certain of. The abyss power is Genshin quantum power. I’ve seen it have the quantum symbol at least twice, the we will be reunited cutscene it has the symbol and the orb Skirk holds has the symbol although it’s not as obvious
this man has mastered cliffhangers
I immediately noticed the devouring snake music at the start lol and I just got Mobius recently :D
Yesterday I watched a short video about Mexica mythology (Aztec term is incorrect) and it reminded me the meaning of “Surtalogi”
It’s about the origin of their main god: Huitzilopochtli or "Left-Handed Hummingbird" is the god of war, solar devotion and patron of the Mexica.
When he was born, fought their 400 siblings and his older sister in defense of he and his mother (she is also worth investigating), with the most powerful weapon of mexica gods described as a “fire snake” called Xuihcóatl that’s fits with the term of a dragon
In mesoamerica the term dragon doesn’t exist but they have beings who fits the bill, also they make differences between snakes and “powerful and divine” snakes.
We can say the dragons equivalents of the prehispanic era are like somewhat as the asian dragons
Idk if it’s helpful but as a mexican I found it interesting and wanted to point out
Edit:
About the mother in resume:
The myth of Coatlicue For the Nahua world, duality was of great importance.
Now i am thinking, why he is using the word My name for now. Why is he hiding his reality, and why he knows a lot. He is also a descender😂
I still dont understand why this channel is under 100k subs
"I'm sure many of you have heard of Nidhogg."
Me: "Who? What..? Where am I? What am I?"
dain's blue flame power keeps reminding me of the yokai blue flames like in akitsu kimodameshi event, idk if they're related or just coincidence but they look sooo similar
The Sustainer is either the Night Mother or a Shade. I am starting to lean towards the Night Mother more and more now.
1:50 minecraft achievement
"How did we get here"
Saw this when I wasn't logged in, so I'm back to make sure it gets the like it deserves. I always get hyped up hearing your energetic presentation for lore and so far I haven't seen a video of yours that I haven't loved. Keep up the amazing work and I hope life's treating you as well as you're treating us with these dope reveals!
7:06 i totally not screamed
No
😱😱😱 this actually makes so much sense!!
Your theories are amazing! Keep up the good work will stick for more!
I honestly thought the symbols were going to end up being Akasha backwards, but Sesa makes sense with some mental yoga (the mental yoga bit is a joke, not meant to be given as an insult).
Holy Night Mother… i’ll have to rewatch this a few times to keep up. This was amazing!
Oh oh! someone finally talk about kaeya!
You don't know how happy I am when you mentioned him along with night mother, I've been speculating him since the veruliyam event and guessing that he might straight up lying about what he said in the caribert quest (read his character story 4), and since then things gone wrong (good) so quickly for me
I've been meaning to write comments under your video but I refrain, I've been very kaeya centric about whole thing with genshin so I wonder if people consider checking kaeya back especially he's the one who referencing shakespeare right before fontaine
I can't wait for your next video!
Also regarding PO, since everything is mirror, I think the god king in gnostic chorus is PO like the one mentioned in BSAM
and the snake of course, the abyss version (related to fischl and maybe surtalogi)
just like there are dragons from the light realm and there are abyss dragons 🤔
Mark my words, if this theory happens to be true then I'm gonna do a balls reveal
You will reveal your Kaeya?
I was on the edge of my seat wondering if the conclusion was a confirmation that irminsul was the seelie that the traveler from afar fell in love with. But its dainsleif 😢 where is his loveeeer! They must be ruinited
Btw my theory of Irminsul = Seelie lover comes from the parable of the tree in the Byakuyakoku. It made sense to me why the tree is a pearly white color
"The Parable of the Tree"
The king's gardener and the tree spirit of the royal garden were in love.
Another great video 🗣️🗣️ Keep gridin and I’ll keep watchin
1:50 i can say that probably if you squeeze a bit of mithology even Nahida can fit there probably Nidhoggr the serpent that eat Yggdrasil, or the dragon guardian of the golden Sheep or the guardian of golden apple with the oceanid (daughter of atlas) in one of the fatigue of Eracles , so apple as well the fruit of knowledge and we go with the snake of adam and eve and so on, ofc Nahida is obviously a Driad a Nymph spirit of the tree and ofc being closer to Elves as well, but those ear mmmm knowing the hinting she can be too inspired to one or even honkai star rail put a dragon that use flower as a weapon freaking Dan Heng Imbibitor lunae
ok my autistic butt is calm now mithology is so similar in the world is weird and good at the same time
ofc nahida never say she's one and say she's a branch of the tree (so a driad) and if you see apep is a big terraphormer snake so the idea were there but those ear, god there something in there
Never in my life have I been this shocked (also been losing sleep thinking abt this theory) and I watch Game Theory lol
amazing theory video as always! I'm not one to connect the dots in this game. There's too many info to consider, not that it's a bad thing tho. I've also randomly thought of the same thing about dain and paimon when they gave us the 3rd descender lore drop. Now I'm glad I wasn't being delusional about the thought
I think you'll be a very convincing mega church pastor LOL
A lot of honkai Otto shown here… are you implying dainslief would be a similar villain as Otto apocalypse 👀
this man just keeps on cooking. great theory
I'm still wait for a playable character who can use 2/3 visions and can freely use them all at a time
And here I thought he was a prime of darkness.
..........
is Dainslief the Otto of Genshin?
Random thought: what if there are more Gnoses than just those of the 7 archons?
:0 I never thought of that but considering that we still don't really know the true purpose behind the gnosis it's possible. It's also possible that celestia also holds a gnosis which is way bigger than the 7 combined.
"Hsskss" Yes yes we get it, fullblooded Khaenrians are vishaps having evolved to human form. 🤷♂
10:24 haha that sounds like a snake hissing but we surely won't... oh no we're going there aren't we
you deserve more subscriptions 👑
I tapped on the video for background rambling. so no worries. hope ya good
Dentos inferno is also just our tyvat journay
With the recent revelations about Acheron, I also wonder if there can be more theorized about Dain. Like could he also be a Self-Annihilator/Emanator of Nihility at the same time, or if not, an Emanator of another Aeon instead?
What is the metaphorical significance of the Hymn of the Pearl story?
The distant land mentioned in the Hymn of the Pearl is often interpreted as a symbol for the earthly realm or the material world. The journey of the boy represents a soul's experience in the physical world, with the pearl symbolizing spiritual enlightenment or a higher understanding that the soul seeks to attain.
The kid of the random guy who scribbled those "letters" as Dain's element after he sees this vid: eh... ehhh.... ehhhhhhh....????
The first letter in Dainsleif's element symbol might be Exi (Ξ) Idk if that would change anything, also couldn't find anything Coptic that matched the 5th or 6th letter tho the 5th letter just looks like a reflected R...
ok im not done w the video but is the "dain being in the tree" connected to how after Ragnarok the first two humans came out of a tree orrrrr
is it just me or could these symbols be just a stand in for quantum, they have the same amount of letters
I bet Dainsleif's power is Telekinesis, the reincarnation of Darth Vader or Anakin Skywalker
I dont even know im making anyy sense or not but yeaa
All what you say about Dains is so jnterestungand idk very probable for me. Ive been always curious thay in his splash aet he shows his arm with "blue veins" like ley lines in the trees of the domains.also, in his vid he says the traveler has to confeont him at the end for the right of challenging fate and save the other sibling
Even if Dainslef is playable, what if he’d just get a vision and we’d never be able to use his true element? You know, like how Kaeya did…
Huh I do wonder about the part where dain got chucked into a tree and the origin of that assumptions (please link if he clarified that)
That tssssstss pronunciation sounds like that snake language in Harry Potter 😂😂
