Nice! I have the 525 Thx certified ultra 2’s.. left and right.. and wanted to sale them so I can buy these towers.. we will see. Mahalo for the video!!
I have the Klipsch RP-28OF I have small gaps from the rubber off the cones . on my right and one on my left driver, been listening to them for a year. for the price of this floor standing speaker this generic speaker cone for home theater slamming should never happen.
At 7:04 "I look forward to enjoying these speakers especially for GAME OF THRONES!!!" HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm from the future and I've got some bad news for you, man.
Do you like your RF82 ii's? I've had mine for around 10 years. I've had no issues so I'm betting it was the cat that damaged the speaker surround. Mine are definitely broken in. The biggest change in sound I ever got from them was undoubtedly from changing amps. I have a Denon x6400h now, which is just a beast as far as integrated AVR's go. The RF82 ii's really came alive after that. There is noticeably more mid-bass and fullness. I use them in a 7.1.4 Atmos setup as my mains. In stereo the x6400h can deliver 140w/ch @8ohms (I think 250w @ 4ohms) with 2 channels driven, close to the peak RMS 150w power handling of the RF82 ii's. I've never owned an amp that can push them to their peak power handling mark of 600w though 😜. It would be interesting to see if a 300w x 2ch power amp made any difference. These speakers always impress and have inspired more than a few of my friends to go out and buy Klipsch.
I know this is an old video but, you can replace that foam ring and not only will it obviously fix the rip, but it will also tighten that old speaker back up and give it life again as if it was new. Edit:Spelling
Livid indeed. Of course some people don’t listen I’ve actually reached out to both Klipsch and Denon about where I should set my crossovers etc. which is how my receiver reset but you bet your ass there’s about 5000 people who think it’s set up wrong
Oh I don’t remember off top my head I know that it’s accessible however there are screws along the leading edge of the plastic in front of the wood of the speaker you would wanna unscrew these carefully and do so again when you put them back in there are some tutorials online on TH-cam etc.
I agree. Best bang for the buck for its class of speaker with bright rich sounds and decent bass…And in my opinion what I have here is sexy as hell! The cherry with grey at the bottom is very nice!
LOL I run a Yamaha es 350 power amplifier with a damping factor of 100 and the bass from these 8s shake my whole couch. 230 watts a side . You don't need a sub if you properly power them
Glue works just fine
I love that intro. So good
:)
I am totally with you on Klipsch speakers. I will always get Klipsch speakers only.
@ekim andersom Sad why?
Nice!

Cherry looks much better than black. Alas they are never on sale. I got my black pair for $419 out the door from Fry's.

I know I still have the speaker it’s in my closet somewhere :-)
@@bsgtrekfan88 Hey, some people don't! Just trying to help where I can. Either way, nice video. Glad Kilpsch took care of you.

Can you list parts number?
5:04 This gives me "paws" :-)
yeah it could have been them ;)
Hahaha awesome!
Sure blame the cat. He's innocent!
🐱👈😡
I have same problem too, CAT.....
After repair, I put a painted laminate sheet in front, which I attach with rubber around the top
How did you remove the cover?
The grill? Magnetic
BSGT2TREKFAN88 No I need to replace the tweeter it’s not playing. I mean the plastic cover hiding the actual speaker screws

Can't find a single video, and he skipped over that part so frustrating
That he is me you are talking to Mia and that was over a year ago
Klipsch is a very good brand, good speakers at affordable prices, they even sound better than way more expensive brands
