Pure Hate is the greatest punk song ever since I first heard it in 83.

Poison Idea have influenced me a lot. I have also organized DiY concerts and festivals. I love them forever! I saw them again a few years ago at a festival in the rain on the small stage and they were the best gig of the damn festival! Peace, love and anarchy from Germany!

If Poison Idea had been my first punkrockshow I would've been scared shitless

PI was my first show, Blue Gallery, Aug 89. I was entering 9th grade. And, indeed, I was scared shirtless. And in awe.

Actually, it was my 1st show, and yes, I was scared shitless! (as a 90lb. Catholic school geek rockin' a bobby Brady 'do) They played W/ C.O.C. at the pine Street theater, on the day the space shuttle blew up in 1986. And to make it even scarier, seeing a 400 lb man wearing 2 t-shirts sewn together to fit him (with "Elvis" spray painted across), and a sideways mohawk running straight down into his sideburns, and then into a full beard, but with no mustache, is truly a thing to behold, and did little to help reduce my fear! And keep in mind: this was my 1st time drunk and stoned!!! "Memories....of which I can't remember...."

PI was the opening band for my first punk rock show. I think it was '86? Bad Brains and UK Subs maybe? I saw them so many times back then it's hard to keep the time line straight

Feel the darkness, and kings of punk was milestone in late 80's early 90's,then they came to o.k. hotel in seattle, besides napalm death-best fucking band ever to puke punk rock, especially once slayer hippy joined them.changed my life and many others, same with the accused and cryptic slaughter, turbonegro, and totalitar!

People who get over the heroin is cool-thing are usually worth listening to if they live. Great to hear him balanced and with some distance to things, PI really found their niche in punkrock, would love to hear about how that happened

Fire into the water " album of Jerry's is more of a compilation from songs made with other bands going back to the 90's

as far as scenes go, gigs, rock'n'roll, it's over: everything's become a nostalgia act for aging gen-Xers...still, the music is still there! put on 'Feel the Darkness' (one of the greatest punk rock albums of all time) and turn it up!
