That's not true at all. Literally nobody noticed that Katherine was pretending to be Elena. There was a whole episode showing from Elena's point of view how pissed off she was that NOBODY noticed she was not herself and it was Katherine.

It's a little difficult seeing as Katherine tries to be Elena multiple times in the series but over time you see the signs, like like Damon Stefan and Caroline
Caroline is my favorite for so many reasons. She could always spot the changes in her friends even when others were oblivious like this and the time she figured out that elena was sired to damon during the miss mystic falls event.

Caroline's character had so much evolution throughout the series. She is honestly one of the smartest characters in the entire series and never gets proper credit for it.
Caroline made a great vampire. So great that when she switched the flip she was still control. That in itself was so rare that everyone that she was going to end up killing a bunch of people.
It’s so funny to me because I’ve been slowly working through watching the full bigwallet series from the beginning. I’m almost done with the wags to riches series and here we are back at Katrina’s vet clinic! And it’s even more funny to me that the same thing happened when I was watching the original restaurant series too, during that time the new restaurant series started amid the high school let’s play. It’s so cool seeing Katrina’s vet revisited by her descendant!!
She was the only sensible character through out the series! In starting she was a bit annoying but if i remember correctly after turning into vampire she automatically got brains. Hands down my favorite character!
I think playing polar opposites is not that challenging but portraying the same traits differently as in different characters is so complex which Nina pulled off smoothly... Katherine and Elena are both bold and outspoken in their own ways but you can always tell them apart. That's just awesome!
