Say what you will about The Vampire Diaries, the acting was incredible...they didn't have to go so hard in 2009. Also the lore was fantastic; daylight rings, compulsion, humanity switch, doppelgangers, original bloodlines, hybrids...it's probably my favourite depiction of vampires.

She is the reason why STEFAN, jenna and soo many other people died and i really don't get it why everyone hates elena. She was a teenager who lost everyone she loved. She had all the right to be sad. I know katherine also lost her family but after that what she did was all selfish, elena never did all the that even after losing everyone.

Those who don't really like Elena let me tell you that it's all because of Nina's efforts she put into the character to make people hate her.
