This is probably one of the best horror sections in a wax museum I’ve seen! So many animations! You should check out some of the maritime museums/locations while you’re in the area.
I have been looking for the terminally ill man made of wood with his real eye brows ,lashes and fingernails he used to be at Ripley's at Fisherman's Wharf Thanks for including him Jacob. Has Jenn returned home?
So glad you made it to see the newly restored Ripley's and glad you came when you did, we have had so much rain and cool temps, felt like a 8 month long winter. Have you made it to the Crater Lake, Multnomah Falls (need to make a reservation), or the Enchanted Forest? All great places to visit. Have a great time here in Oregon.
I really enjoyed the tour. I got a kick out of seeing the 3 legged man. I would think that he could have played soccer. A friend of mine and I saw him In person in a sideshow at the Iowa State Fair many years ago. I think that we were about 12 years old. The 3 legged man was so nice and would take the time to talk to those who were going through. He was selling souvenir post cards with his pictures and some information on. I remember keeping it with some of my keepsakes but tried to locate it a few years ago but couldn't find it. Thanks for taking the time to go to the different attractions that you do. The only Ripley museum I ever visited was in Buena Park,California near Knotts Berry Farm. I don't believe that that location still exists. So hope for one in the Phoenix AZ area where I live, just talk but nothing being built. Be safe and have fun.
That dress made out of utensils......Lady Gaga would love that I love Robert Ripley....what an amazing life he led, though he died far too soon Sadly, I've only been to a couple of Ripley's museums, but what a blast This one looks beyond fun
At 15:36 the tiger was absolutely stunning. The Angel display was very cool. The devil fish and crucifix fish were fascinating! "Green eyes like a doll's eyes" made me laugh 😂 the Pringles art was cute and loved the Arnie and Chucky displays as they're some of my favourite films. Thanks Jacob and best wishes ☀️
If you still have time to visit Enchanted Forest, it is definitely worth your while and is great for a vlog. Just the Challenge of Mondor ride itself is a very unique and different attraction. The plays they have there are also very hilarious. The western town is full of caves and Knott's Berry Farm type vignettes.
The best part of my day i love to watch you and Jen she is hilarious and the perfect fit! I joined your Pateron last month excited for my 1st postcard!
When I was a kid we went to Florida on vacation.....we made tons of shell ladies with pipe cleaners and glue and paint! The crucifix bone we also looked for...a nifty trick Florida had for shellers in the 60s was the elusive 'olive' shell listed at 100 dollars it was so rare - we never found one!
That black and blue dress had a lot of people going nuts when I first saw it on the news back 7 years ago. Which U.S. Ripley’s Believe It or Not attraction that you love the most Jake?
Him reaching in to grab the jewel: You got me Me just barely keeping my phone from dropping to the ground: Got me too. Thanks for letting us chickens live vicariously thru your travels.
Hi Jacob, do you think it would be possible for me to include a very short snippet of this video (with credit) in a walk-thru of the horror section I filmed recently? The headless animatronic wasn't working when I went and I feel like that's one of the better props in the attraction.
I grew up about 2 hours south of Newport, and my mom's best friends' family lived in Newport, and used to give us season passes to these places (as well as Undersea Gardens) every year. Been there hundreds of times, probably, but not since the 90's, so I'm looking forward to seeing the changes they've made to these awesome attractions. Also...just an fyi for travelers...my hometown (Coos Bay) is the largest town on the Oregon coast...but there's not much to see or do there. There's a casino, and the beaches are pretty nice...but that's about it. Newport is smaller, but much nicer, and has a lot more to do. Better beaches, too. And the aquarium there is amazing. When I was a kid, it was known for being the home of Keiko (the whale from the movie "Free Willy").
It's a shame that you miss the kite festival in Lincoln City Oregon this past weekend. I hope you're having fun I thought it would be funny to come this way because of the Lincoln City highway adventure. I hope the weather holds on your end it's a little dicey sometimes. If you see this tell Jen I say hellooooooo.
If anyone comes into Portland, great place to eat is Jake's (oldest, still existing bar in Portland), the one just off of Burnside, do the afternoon Happy Hour.
Although this is the only ripleys we visit, so I may be biased, but I think the location is awesome. I love that it's in a smallish town. Feels so out of place - like what is this doing here?? 😁
I talked to you at a meet up in Pigeon Forge last November and you talked about revisiting this Ripley's. Good to see you made it back. It's changed a lot since I last saw it I'll have to make it back there myself. Next time your in Oregon You'll have to do the UFO festival in McMinnville. We talked about that too, you seemed interested. It would be right in your wheelhouse.
I miss the dark spooky atmosphere the Newport Ripley's used to have. I used to go every summer with the same friends and haven't been there since the renovation. Next time I'm on the Oregon Coast though I'll definitely stop by ✌️
Jacob, my man, you have to get out to ride Volkanu at Lost Island this summer. No crowds at all, which is concerning for the well-being of the park, but great for now as you can ride all the rides over and over.
Another awesome video my friend. Had a laugh when you kept calling the AT-ST a AT-AT. Some parts of the wax museum are actually original prior to the remake, which is the pirate, temple, star wars, and hero alley. Also, the mummy originally use to have his own exhibit in Ripley's.
Idk if this is wierd to say but you remind me so much of my dad that passed away 9 years ago. Watching your videos feels like going on a trip with my dad(:
I just had a feeling you were going to visit today in newport i hoping to meet you .. I live in Depoe Bay 20mins away But i Had to go to Portland today for the Grandkids birthday party ..Enjoy the rest of Oregon
If it hadn't been for the mouse traps I would haven't realized that as Knoxville. Even then I wasn't 💯 sure lol. It looked more like a mixture of Rocky and Dane Cook. But, I LOVE that he has a figure somewhere!

7:14 I don't think it's a replica of the Necronomicon looks more like a replica of the Sanderson sisters spell book (Hocus Pocus)
I thought the same thing lol
It definitely is. The moving eye is really cool. I’d put one on my shelf.
The fact that I have been to this place and so has one of my favorite TH-camrs is blowing my mind rn 😂
Good to see Johnny Eck there in the museum. He lived here in my hometown of Baltimore, Maryland.
I really enjoyed the tour. I got a kick out of seeing the 3 legged man. I would think that he could have played soccer.

We used to go there on family road trips all the time, cool to see its finally changed
I always love your wax museum trips
Love Newport
you really need too checkout Brownsville OR stand by me was filmed there super cool old town like walking back into the 50s!
Thanks for always making my mood better!
Weird weird weird! Thanks Jacob. Enjoy your time up yonder.
Omg! Not surprise but I am so excited you ended up in my neck of the woods!
It's the oddest museum that man has ever gone to! No other museum like this of the chain!
Got in - laws around there- it is beautiful!
Green eyes?????? Haha
@@allensherrill850 Yep! At 17:40 the shark had green eyes, not black, like a doll's eyes!
Thanks Jacob!
Hey! Welcome to Oregon! There is much to see here so we look forward to seeing more uploads from you of this area! :)
The whole time while watching this one, I was constantly asking (out loud) "How did they do that?" Thanks for the fun videos!!
The Carpetbagger is such a great dude.
If you still have time to visit Enchanted Forest, it is definitely worth your while and is great for a vlog. Just the Challenge of Mondor ride itself is a very unique and different attraction. When you sat at the Presidential desk. 🤣 Yeah...I feel the same. 👍
The best part of my day i love to watch you and Jen she is hilarious and the perfect fit!
I joined your Pateron last month excited for my 1st postcard!

Another amazing video ! Thank you for sharing these with us . Best wishes out there
Love the Ripley's episodes!
I love Ripley's attraction. The Smokie Mountain area are a few Ripley's attractions.
I meant have a few Ripley's attractions.
I love how confidently Jacob mispronounces names and words - I do the same thing, lol
We went to the Ripleys in Wisconsin dells today....it was awesome
Great job Jacob. Always lots of fun!! ✌🏼
When I was a kid we went to Florida on vacation.....we made tons of shell ladies with pipe cleaners and glue and paint! The crucifix bone we also looked for...a nifty trick Florida had for shellers in the 60s was the elusive 'olive' shell listed at 100 dollars it was so rare - we never found one!
we're back at it again with ripley's.
Thanks for the fun trip, very cool Jacob
The silverware dress looks like something Xena would wear!
Nah Zena's utensils were made of wood Remember?
That black and blue dress had a lot of people going nuts when I first saw it on the news back 7 years ago. Which U.S. Ripley’s Believe It or Not attraction that you love the most Jake?
Thankyou for taking us was so fun ❤❤❤❤❤
Him reaching in to grab the jewel: You got me
Me just barely keeping my phone from dropping to the ground: Got me too.

Love Ripleys 💞

My Mom watches the Carpet bagger too...
Dude watches the walking dead too, that's dope! Currently on season 6! :D
Great museum, Jacob. Love Bigfoot.
That button suit has me wondering... is a button down shirt worn underneath? 😀 (I'll see myself out.)
You must have a huge collection of Zoltar fortunes at the bunker
Thank you for visiting Oregon 🤗
Always full of oddities.
This is awesome 👏
ALWAYS love your Ripleys' videos but.....I must say.....that was THE WORST Marilyn Monroe I've EVER seen. As always safe travels my friend ✌️ ❤️
So happy you’re in our section of the wilderness!! ❤️🌲🌲
Watching now….. I hope you got to eat at moe’s!
Thank you for coming to Oregon 🌲🌲
Jacob and Jenn should move here!! 😁

Thank You so much!!! I've grown up going over there;) My Family is there right now!! Catch any good foods?
I grew up around OSU, so in the middle of it all ;)
Still there!
About the dress, I see navy blue, light blue, and deep purple. So good Jacob! Love the videos!
Jacob - I could see that blast of compressed air coming a mile away, but you fell for that same trick yet again! :)
Thanks for the virtual tour guide
Glad to see the ripleys Times Square shrunken head found a new home.
If anyone comes into Portland, great place to eat is Jake's (oldest, still existing bar in Portland), the one just off of Burnside, do the afternoon Happy Hour.
Just went today, first time I’ve ever been! Had to check if you’ve been there before. Knew it 😂
Although this is the only ripleys we visit, so I may be biased, but I think the location is awesome. I love that it's in a smallish town. Feels so out of place - like what is this doing here?? 😁
I love the toast art of the angel micheal standing over conquered evil. Evil real because the past has so many heroes that kicked evils butt
Black & purple
The last time I was there was at least ten years ago. It was pretty sad. Glad to see they’ve improved things
I talked to you at a meet up in Pigeon Forge last November and you talked about revisiting this Ripley's. Good to see you made it back. Ufo festival sounds fun!
🥰I hope to meet you one day love from Minneapolis mn..
The book with the eye was not the necromicon, it was the book from hocus pocus
I miss the dark spooky atmosphere the Newport Ripley's used to have. I used to go every summer with the same friends and haven't been there since the renovation. Next time I'm on the Oregon Coast though I'll definitely stop by ✌️

I'm going there tomorow and I'm so excited!
Cool, you are getting close to my neck of the woods in Gibsons BC
Jacob, my man, you have to get out to ride Volkanu at Lost Island this summer. No crowds at all, which is concerning for the well-being of the park, but great for now as you can ride all the rides over and over.
Loved Newport, very noce town a d murals.
I see the dress as black and blue same as I did when it first became a debate.
That’s one scary extreme room
The Necronomicon you mentioned is actually the living spell book from Hocus Pocus !
Can't wait till JEN and Mr.C is on a cloned Wholly mammoth.
Do you plan on travelling Route 20 from Newport OR to Boston, MA?
20:10 i think they are signed by astronauts because base ball was very popular during the moon landing is my guess...
The man with 3 leges has a big advantage
Cool 😎
“Their wizard nazis” damn bruh that caught me off guard
Mulenooorj! And Doeby! Lmao.....
Got my FIRST set. JEN and Mr.C . Straight baggen.
Hello Jacob how is Anna could you please added more videos of her with you and did Jenn made it back home .
Haha those waxworks were hilarious!
Pretty sure the guy in yellow, in the car , was Dick Tracey!!
Hey Jacob, how may miles are you doing in a year?
Did you notice the 1.21 gigawatts? Lol With Frankenstein?
Idk if this is wierd to say but you remind me so much of my dad that passed away 9 years ago. Watching your videos feels like going on a trip with my dad(:
I just had a feeling you were going to visit today in newport i hoping to meet you .. I live in Depoe Bay 20mins away But i Had to go to Portland today for the Grandkids birthday party ..Enjoy the rest of Oregon
Did I seriously hear him call the Sanderson sisters book from Hocus pocus the necronomicon from evil Dead 😂😂😂
Good job Jacob (you even found a shark) !
If it hadn't been for the mouse traps I would haven't realized that as Knoxville. Even then I wasn't 💯 sure lol. It looked more like a mixture of Rocky and Dane Cook. But, I LOVE that he has a figure somewhere!
