@@freddyw3675 In F1 cars each button that you should be able to press while having your hand on the wheel is easily accessible, in the tesla the wheel has a ton of epty space and buttons look like you should be able to reach them are not reachable by your thumb unless you reposition your hand on the steering wheel which in an F1 car while turning could mean your death, you don't want the wheel to slip cause you were trying to hit the radio button. its the difference between putting some thought behind a design and just putting it there cause it looks cool, just look at how many people complain that the car is not easy to handle in low speeds, Instead of giving it a more direct steering input they didn't change it or not enough so people awkwardly handle the wheel, its a case of a Tesla having a cool feature but not necessary, its just a gimmick.

Well of course. They provide peak torque at 0rpm. They follow the same formula as gasoline engines. HP equals torque times rpm divided by 5252. This peak torque at launch is how these are so quick off the line. However, they have there flaws. Electric motors of this strength are very prone to going bad, the model S was already the least reliable of 14 EVs tested, and the model S plaid puts more power through identical motors. In other words this ain’t a reliable car when used like this.
