You should have said "Un" at the beginning because that is one in French but the attempt at the accent and saying "Oui" was cool nonetheless. This was a nice video to celebrate the Olympics :) Looking forward to all the videos you've got planned for the rest of the summer!
I’ve been out of it for a while, but hopefully I’ll be back to commenting more regularly. Paris and Lille are obvious termini for obvious reasons. Along the way, even if it is quite close to Lille, I’d like to see more of Lens/Douai, which by French standards is a decently sized urban area. As for all the Brussels signage, I guess it makes sense along the E19 corridor (before A2) but after that, for international controls, I’d go for Kortrijk if not Ghent.
Now, we know that Calais has a ferry route to Dover across the Strait of Dover. You'll just have to take A216. Once you arrived in Dover, take A2 to London, but be careful, Mainland Europe is RHT while the British Isles are LHT. By the way, A16 connects Paris with Calais, so drivers can get to London from Paris with that route. Therefore, A16 Autoroute, A216 Autoroute, Strait of Dover, A2, and M2 Motorway.
@@user-kv1up9fu5s, there is absolutely no way to build a bridge across the 32-kilometer Strait of Dover. A ferry across the Strait of Dover is more suitable.

I liked your little story about you living in Paris as a college student, and the video footage you had as well, even if you were just a little obnoxious back then, and your French mispronunciations! lol Good video. Until next time, Keep on truckin' Todd! :) 👍
Perhaps it's improved since I've been there, but the one time I flew from CDG, the experience made LaGuardia look like Singapore-Changi. Also, Amiens - if you've ever played the GameCube cult classic Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, you know.
Hey, Todd! I'm from the Philippines and it's been 100 years since the Philippines first joined the Olympics and it's been 100 years since Paris hosted the Olympics. As of this year, 22 Filipino athletes qualified for the Olympics including a pole vaulter named EJ Obiena, some gymnasts like Carlos Yulo, and some boxers like Carlo Paalam. 3 years ago, the Philippines claimed their first gold medal thanks to a female weightlifter named Hidilyn Diaz. I hope my country will win another gold medal, but I expect a first male Filipino to win gold like EJ Obiena and Carlos Yulo, but some Filipinos predict we'll win more silver medals.
*Do you have an Olympic dream?* For me, I do. Let me explain. "As I stated before about where I'm from, the Philippines never had a single badminton player qualify for the Olympics. I'm into badminton and my sports dream outside the Olympics, as a lifetime goal to achieve, is to promote badminton in the Philippines as I play hard and play well in the court to show not only the country, but the world on how worthy I am as a badminton player and help grow more badminton players in the country to achieve their dreams and I'll inspire those who have their dreams to be a good badminton player. My Olympic dream and goal in badminton is to be the first Filipino badminton player to make it further into the tournament and eventually win a medal. Otherwise, any other Filipino can, but that will take a lot of hard work. Even though I learned unique moves for 4 years since the pandemic began, badminton changed my life for a better future and since I'm a freshman in college, I'm planning to join a badminton varsity team for my university. If that dream and/or goals didn't happen, I'll pass that dream and goal to my future generation of the family, even my future children if I raise a family because I want to raise my future children as badminton players, even if I succeed that goal, but I can't push too hard on them and I'll let them grow up to achieve their own dreams who they want to be."
Indiana just opened the last remaining I-69 segments in the Indianapolis suburbs and the connector ramps from the 465 beltline to 69's south leg. It is exit 2 on I-465. Please reboot your 69 video to reflect the recent completion on 8/6/24. The I-69 ramp to I-465 and I-69 is Exit 139. The choice they give on 465 is Peoria. I wouldn't go with Peoria there, I would give Champaign-Urbana there. You have a cinnamon to I-72 shortly before Champaign. After That Split, I would give Bloomington -, Normal reflecting I-74/I-55 Concurrency. After splitting the. Give Peoria.
I’m an American driver. I was recently in Portugal and had no trouble following the road signage. But France looks so different! The capital letters; the tiny highway numbers on top; the small exit numbers; the large number of cities on each sign. I feel like I’d have a hard time getting “fluent” in French signage! Or is this just another case of what one is used to?
Can you do a reboot of I-20? The other one you forgot on eastbound I-20 is I-65 junction in Birmingham and westbound the I-20 and I-55 merge has changed would you bother doing that? Yes or no
Possibly, but I’m not really that interested in I-20. No interesting scenery and I haven’t personally driven much of it or spent much time on its corridor. Making the original vids wasn’t all that fun. Will probably only reboot it if there’s a big demand for it and hundreds of dollars worth of requests lol
tbh French signs are a bit messy (especially in Ile-de-France region), but after 100 miles you get used to seeing them, and in e.g. Alsace region it's pretty difficult to get lost (assuming you know basic French, like "autres directions"/"toutes directions") - but yeah, most of Europe has better motorway signage
Other than Paris... I only know Bordeaux... How? Knew some breeders back in Illinois that would breed those dogs. Very friendly dogs from what I remember as the last time I saw them was 15 years ago now? Jim Morrison wanted his fire lite... From The Doors, Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar) is my favorite.
