If Jaby was here he'd have clocked Seema's difference in behaviour and opinions about both Aparna and Pradhyuman. They've both rejected numerous amount of people for personal reasons but somehow Pradhyuman doesn't seem to piss Seema off. Atleast Aparna's reasoning is valid that she wants someone who is career oriented unlike Pradhyuman who wants a "hot" chick.
Nah I don't think it's that easy people will stay for fear because of the stigma attached to leaving a marriage and others will leave in another way or actually just get the bravery to leave.
You seem to forget that this system also works very well for majority of Indians, so there is high possibility that your assumptions about arrange marriages might be wrong !
I don't know why they call it Indian matchmaking this is not how matchmaking happens in India this is more like matchmaking for NRI's who are super rich and ashamed of their identity!!!

Everyone was so down on Aparna. But Aparna is honest about what she wants. On the other hand Nadia is more confused. Aparna knows what she likes and what she doesn’t like. You see her more evolving by second season. She’s trying to do different things. She’s from a broken home and used to of being in control. She’s always going to be little apprehensive about giving someone else the control of her life. I actually enjoyed her mist in series.
