What did you think of the side fingerprint sensor?
At first it was kind of awkward. But I programmed it to two fingers on both hands that usually grip that area of the phone so it's a lot easier now. It's been good for the most part but sometimes it won't respond to any input. Will have to test it further.
Team VRY I thought the same when I had the Samsung s8 and had to use the fingerprint sensor next to the rear camera.

Hi guys.
I've just ordered the Xperia L4 but I didn't realise that It runs on Android 9 Instead of Android 10. And because I'm not really a technical person where mobile phones are concerned, I was just wondering If anybody could please explain to me the difference between Android 9 and 10? Does It really matter for somebody like me? I only use my mobile for texting, emailing, making calls, watching videos on TH-cam and taking the occasional photo. I also never play games on my phone either, so would Android 9 really be an Issue for me?
And also, I can confirm that Sony will not be updating the L4 from Android 9 to 10 anytime In the future. This Info came directly from Sony customer services earlier today. Thanks guys 👍
Thanks for commenting. Unfortunately, there will be no Android 10 update for the Xperia L4.
As far as differences between 9 and 10, most changes have been performance optimizations with regards to apps, as well as the addition of a system-wide dark mode. Based on your usage, I wouldn't really worry about not being able to upgrade to Android 10 as you'll still be able to use your communication and entertainment apps, EXCEPT for the lack of security updates. I have still been using the phone however, and it's been going smoothly.

@@TeamVRY thanks. I just ordered it last night as a spare phone it must be OK for that I have the xz3, t has a beautiful screen so this will probably seem very budget in comparison. But in saying that it looks surprisingly good considering how cheap it is. Only disappointment for me is the mono speaker but it's a cheapo and I can use a Blutooth speaker it won't be so bad :)
