I think you’ll find it the managers who make those decisions not the division. And like most Japanese companies they don’t really care about the international market as much as they care about the internal Japanese market they tried to protect their share of the internal market because there’s a flood of Chinese cheaper phones coming through that also have headphones Jack still.
i agree with the notches as they look retarded, but if you look at google pixel 4a with a small punch hole in the top left corner, i think thats very tolerable and would alow smaller phone dimensions with smaller bezels while keeping the same screen size.
U will never understand how good Sony phones are until u get one. Xperia 10 iii was my first Sony now am using 10 v, the camera, battery life and very decent performance. Thanks sony❤
@@jiffonbuffo I can still see both of your comments. And yes, not having DP ALT mode is quite annoying. Now we have to stream the content with an app, if the receiving TV has the ability to accept it, if it doesn't then tough luck.
@@cebedojames Same here, and I use it quite heavily doing courier work. But I always charge it with battery care enabled to 80% maximum. And even after two years I can't really fel noticeable battery degradation, it's amazing.
What I still appreciate about modern Sony phones (despite their shaky track record) is the fact that they STILL kept expandable Micro SD storage as a feature. Only thing I hate about Sony phones is that they are too goddang expensive. Not as much as an Apple device. But still, expensive.
I don't understand this 60 hz issue. I don't need more. It's a fucking phone. 😂 I like Sony phones because they are very resistant, still easy weight and "compact" design, clean Android, battery protection over time, no holes in the screen, and so many others💪
Unfortunately, most people are sheep. Influenced by marketing and incapable of critical thinking. These people have been told that they need 120Hz on their phones.
@@diegocabrejas6059 Have you used a high refresh rate phone? You could wake me up at 3 am on a tuesday, i'll still notice if the screen on my Xperia 1V goes down to 60hz. At this price point in 2024 90hz should be the minimum.
plus it eats away your battery. I personally use a phone with a 120 Hz display but I'm not the type of person to call 60hz a deal breaker 😂. that's stupid
@@diegocabrejas6059I bet you've never had a phone with 120 Hz, it's much smoother. Going back to 60 will feel choppy and laggy. I mean i can limit my frames to 60 and it's a huge difference. A 400$ phone has no excuse to not have a 120 Hz screen in 2024. Especially when in other areas it's not even better than the competition like CPU, cameras and storage.
Sony still including an SD Card Slot and a Headphone Jack is really commendable. (I'm searching for a new phone, and I realized a lot of competitors don't include expandable storage anymore)
just get the sony phone its the only phone brand worth getting i would reccomend the highest end model theyre amazing phones unbeatable no brainer purchase
I know. I need a new phone, but sadly I have virtually no options. If they didn't waste so much resources on a camera *that I DO NOT care for* I would stomach the high cost and pick one up.
@@pankitaneja LineageOS works just fine if the device you get supports it but yeah the secureity updates and support for stock Xperia is the worst but the design of the phone is the only phone i ever liked because it has the headphone jackk and it has the SD card i have over 200GB of music on my PC i need sd card to be able to listen to it all
I'm getting this. I don't want to spend ~$800+ on a phone anymore, and as long as it runs freaking Solitaire and Chess I'm fine. 60Hz doesn't bother me, it's just a phone.
60Hz is totally enough anyway. Iphone has 60Hz btw! Glad there is no notch/hole. Audio jack , waterproof, clean OS without chinese stuff...So many advantages on this phone.
Sony phones despite all its flaws is still the best for watching videos without having a notch or dot on the screen. Its not the best as a phone but as a multimedia device its pretty good since its beginning until now. They never change their phones design form at all.
That's what i thought until i got myself the 10 V. Unless you are watching movies, other content is very hard to watch on this ratio, i would have to squint my eyes at times to see what's on the screen.
@@Afura33 Mine is a 2018 model (but I got it in 2020) and it runs Android 10. If it wasn't for the battery draining in less than a day, the slow response time, the random restarts, and the storage constantly running out, I could have used it for another couple of years.
@@prodigy84bg I see your phone has similar issues like mine, my apps crashs and freezes, random restarts, wifi goes off for no reason, gps is pretty inaccurate, but battery is still ok I can still make it through the day with it. The sony 10 vi looks pretty nice but man would I miss the led notification lol, was thinking about the 10 iv instead but the camera is just awful :| . Also 6,1 inch is huge I prefer compact phones but there aren't barely any on the market for a decent price.
1:27 Sony is probably like, "If Apple gets away with 60Hz at $900, we should get away with it at $400". However, as a lesser-known phone manufacturer, this gives budget conscious consumers a bad impression of the brand.
It would be better to have 120 Hz, no argue. But I will buy it anyway, because I hate elliptic screens with camera cutouts and under-screen fingerprint sensors on phones from other manufacturers. I am glad they get rid from the third camera on the cheapest model - it was awful and useless. Crop from the main camera looked the same. I also hope Sony will release 5VI this autumn - 5V already has 120 Hz screen, metal body and wireless charging.
iPhone 14 was the best-selling smartphone model in the world in 2023, although it has a screen with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. I own an iPhone 14 and I don't mind the 60 Hz screen refresh rate at all.
Australia has the same problem. Sony doesn't release products consistently in each country. That includes cameras, TV's, etc. Customers have complained for years. I ordered my Sony Xperia 5 IV 256GB model on the grey market. Look for online sellers that will ship to your region.
I got the 10vi and love it. I hqe an LG v60 and replaced that with an s23 ultra. That was a disappointment. Audio quality especially. I saw Sony had increased updates to 4 years of security updates qks decided to give the 10vi a go. I love it. Battery life is excellent - iPhone 15 pro max territory. The 10vi is light and the narrower dimensions make it easy to hold one handed. The taller dimensions make it great for reading eBooks. Audio is way ahead of most phones with the 3.5mm headphone socket, decent internal dac, aptX adaptive & LDAC for wireless and good external speakers. The finger print sensor on the side is brilliant, way way better than using the in screen FPS on my s23 ultra (and audio quality of this Sony is way ahead of my s23 ultra). Best Android phone I've bought for a while!
Do you mind me asking if was any game played on phone of yours? I'm interested if there's any lagging or something ✓ also does it have dark mode? I ADORE light not heavy phones and this one looks perfect to me.. if you can reply, would be thankful 🙏
@@cybercloudx4955 I haven't got any games installed but let me know if you're thinking of any particular games and I'll give them a go. I'd did have games like space shooter and I didn't notice any lag (I've got 120 apps installed). The only thing that comes to mind is with having TH-cam playing in the background and then switching back to TH-cam, there is a moment's pause in the video before it restarts. Also, if you turn it off fully, and then turn it back on it takes a while to start, but that's the massive SD card I have with lots of audio files). I'm pretty sure it came with a usb c cable (I have cables falling out of my ears). I use whatever plug is handy (sometimes an old Sony charger, an Anker 35w charger., an iPhone plug... I have too many phone chargers that I've collected over time). There's dark mode (I have it set for a night time schedule but you can have it on all the time). The lightness and narrowneaa of the phone makes this a real pleasure to hold. It's about the same width as an iPhone 13 mini). I posted a reply but it seems to have gone: I don't have games installed but if there's something you're thinking of let me know. I did have space shooters installed and had no issues. I have a 120 apps installed. The only "lag" I've noticed is if I have TH-cam playing in the background, eg as a pop out, and then switch to TH-cam then there is a short pause before the video continues. Yes it has a dark mode. You can set it to be on permanently or a certain schedule. I'm pretty sure it came with a usb c to usb c cable but I have lots of cables and didn't really notice. I use any charger that's handy and they all seem to work. From old Sony chargers, iPhone plugs, 35w chargers... However, it doesn't have wireless charging. Any other questions do just ask.
I'm pre-researching in case I'm suddenly in need for a new phone, and had selected this one as one of few available in the 'small' phone category. However, I'm quite dissapointed when I compare it to my current Galaxy S8. There is so much the S8 can match on or even excell at regarding most software and hardware features. You would have thought that the market would have caught up a bit by now, but I guess not. Still, not a terrible option. Thanks for the comprehensive and to-the-point overview!
I was looking for new phone last year, in the end got the 1 V My criteria is 4K 30fps, sd card and headphone jack. The 10 V was almost there, but inability to film 4K and lackluster chip performance killed it for me. If this exists back then, this will be 100% my pick
Same, I get you. I had the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact from 2016-2023, over 7 years. Worked in Australia and travelling SE Asia, just swapped SIM cards. Never had overheating or software issues. Still got Xperia and general Android updates when needed. If it's not broken don't fix it. That phone had a bad drop and cracked the back and side of the body open. But it still worked lol! I upgraded to the Xperia 5 IV, 256GB model and happy with it. If it wasn't for the urgent replacement I would have got this Xperia 10 VI (mark 6), or the Xperia 5 V (mark 5).
Xperia 10 mark v

this phone is going for 689 SGD in Singapore which is just ridiculously overpriced for a phone with very outdated specs. It's possible to get phones like the Redmi K70 Pro for under 600 SGD, and that's a phone with better build material, 120Hz 2K screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, etc. the Poco F6 and F6 Pro will be announced soon, and those will be cheaper, and run circles around the Xperia 10 VI as well in terms of hardware. Considering that performance is often one of the biggest indicator as to how well a phone will age in the long run (since apps/OS are getting heavier over time and more resource intensive), phones with well performing chips will last a lot longer, like iPhones for example. Apple A series chip is likely a big part of why a lot of their older devices are still so usable today since they had a good lead against its competitors back then. Considering that Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 was a low/mid range chip from 2022, and is just meh in terms of performance, i just don't see this phone aging well, just like a lot of their other 10 series devices. For all their talk of sustainability, removing cables, charger, recyclable packaging, etc, it's pointless when the phone itself might not last as long.
as much as i love 10 series and how pretty vi design looks, 10VI is literally overpriced as shit. Im having 10V and guess what 10VI is literally nothing but 10V with tele lens cut and improved SOC (but battery down). Everything else? exactly the same, and 689sgd? what a joke

The charging system is not fast. They did it on purpose to maintain battery health. My friends with oppo phone vooc super fast charge.. Their battery after a year barely holds the charge , only last 6 hours.
Yes that's the Battery Care feature. Fast charging is great but it does wear out a battery faster. All brands have this issue: damaged or even exploding batteries. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was banned on all airlines due to the risk of fire and explosion. I've seen iPhones crack open from a swollen damaged battery. Especially from over-charging and overheat, heavy use while plugged in charging.
@@BAdventures It's crazy... i don't understand why people need to have 80% of their battery charged in 20 minutes. Thank you for objective review, as always. It's the first review in the Web for this phone. Someone may find this phone a bit strange. However if you prefer compact phones, you don't have variants, this one looks not the worst.
I bought an Xperia 10ii years ago, used it daily, not a scatch on it and it performs really well, I don't play games or use demanding apps so didn't need the significantly pricier 5ii. The plastic back on this model makes me want to buy it, glass backs are just silly.
I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one when it gets cheaper. Using a Samsung s10e currently which is fantastic, but some of the worst battery life I've ever experienced. The Sony using that chipset should perform just fine and superior battery life at the cost of some performance.
I've had the S22 for two years. Honestly, the battery isn't THAT bad. But, i can see i've been getting really annoying lag and stuttering. I have to return this one as my contract is up next month and have been looking for something cheap. I also looked at the Xperia 5 IV but it has the SAME shitty Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the S22.
I want to root for Sony phones, but the ones they release are mediocre with insanely high price. All plastic build, 60Hz display, weak Samsung fabbed 7 Gen 1 for 400€? No thanks, I'd rather get Poco F5 for the same price.
I agree , I have always wanted to try a Sony phone, thought about buying this one as a backup, hobby gadget but it's just bad value. I dont get it either
Is it just me, or are these Sony devices closer to stock Android than Pixel? The Pixel 7a has loads of (non-system) apps that I cannot uninstalled. Some even unnecessarily run in the background even if you do not use them.

I've got a 10 VI for two days and overall that's a good device. Light in hands and good quality build. And above all the battery life is absolutely fantastic, 2 days of using at home and still up. SOT 9H30 and 30% left. But there's this major downside concerning the screen refreshing fixed at 60hz. I keep thinking about that when I'm using this phone. Especially when i see the rest of my family using smartphones ( from Motorola brand essentially) with a 120 hz refreshing, which is really more comfortable and everything seems virtually super fast on their device. Possibly for this reason I'll send my Xperia back to the resailler for a refund.
I'm using daily at work laptop with variable 120 Hz display refresh rate. Before that I had a gaming monitor with similar variable refresh rate. Never had an issue with my 60 Hz phone screen though. I think this is probably mainstream thing and not a big deal. Just don't think about that numbers 🙂 I'm thinking about getting Xperia 10 vi to replace pixel 4a. One interesting thing that I see a huge difference between macbook 120 and 60 Hz screens, it's a big deal for me. But not on phones. To sum all up: if it's not bothering you, just leave it as is. Nobody cares.
The form factor of this phone is fantastic. I seriously considered this phone, but where it fell down was the slow charging. If this phone charged quickly, I would have bought it. This is where a brand like OnePlus is missing a trick, if they made a small phone like this, I'd buy it immediately. I looked at the Asus ZenFone too, but despite being fantastic, is just a bit too highly specced and therefore overpriced, but the clincher is the lack of updates. I don't get why phone makers can't hit this sweet spot of form and function when it comes to smaller phones.
Thanks for the Review. This 10VI I will consider, because Size, Price Point, Speaker, e-sim. No notch or dot. Sure there are better Phones and cheaper, but 6,5" and up. OS Updates until 17 is vor me enough.
Try Restarting or hard reset. All smart devices require this: phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, etc. I run my updates Android and OEM/OS, and Restart my phone at least twice a month.

I've wait for years for a Xperia 10 well balanced and there's always something wrong, always. Same weak CPU 695 model for the last two years, no video 4K recording on the 10 V but the 10 IV could and so on. And this year is the refresh rate, even cheaper model from other brands offer a least a 90hz rate. At some point i think Sony is mocking us.

In all sony phones the jack is nothing special. It's nice that it's there but don't expect any crazy DAC or quality like LG used to do. Yeah they could leverage this with their walkman legacy and all that but they probably won't not to canibalise the walkman sales.

Xperia 10 III = 60hz Xperia 10 IV = 60hz Xperia 10 V = 60hz Wtf is wrong with them ? There is NO reason that they continue to put 60hz and same processor every year, i literally don't understand.
@@BAdventures It's an excuse. All of that won't stop to add at least 90hz. They are simply lazy, nobody will take their smartphone : 1. Two years update only 2. Slow CPU 3. NOT FOR AMERICA & NOT FOR EUROPE ??? In EU we need 25fps from a Sony phone! Did SONY actually removed 25fps - Pal mode ??? All previous version had 25fps for EU Countries (with 230V 50Hz) No feature is more important than having usable framerates especially for SONY camera users (your No.1 customers) Even more when this will not be released in America (if i understood correct) WHY ? Because without it we get extreme flickering at most artificial light conditions. To avoid this we will have to adjust the shutter speed at every shooting condition (requires knowledge), while sacrificing motion blur control and ease of use! We were expecting an upgrade with 50fps and 100fps also in EU. We don't mind the screen changes with it's pros and cons that much... 85-170 lens gives more reach but image is still soft, Macro mode better - Night mode bit better.... Good additions BUT........... We were waiting for this SONY mobile for months and now you give us no choice than to buy an the iphone with over sharpened footage, no sd card slot, no 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Xperia 10 VI is a huge disappointment due to the cheap build quality. While Samsung and the Pixels give you premium build materials in their mid-range this plastic Xperia feels outdated. The Pixel 7a is a lot better choice or the Galaxy A55 if the size is of no concern. My suspicion is also that the plastic make the sound from speakers sound worse.
Plastic doesn't break like glass when it falls. It's the only compact phone inthis price point. More expensive Iphone 15 has only 60Hz but no one complains.
I seriously wonder why someone would buy this phone instead of other midrange phones like Galaxy A55 or Pixel 8a, unless you really need a headphone jack or expandable storage. Since battery life is about on par with other phones now, it has no stand out benefits anymore in my opinion. Oh and still a 60hz screen?? Fail.

Conclusion: Get yourself an A55. Only redeeming features are the headphone jack and expandable storage. Not enough to make up for that crazy price. Even some of the cheapest Samsung devices offer at least a 90Hz display. its also strange that the battery life is worse than last year. Its still good, but it should be better than its predecessor, not worse.
@@1vbAPiYkTheir net profit was about 7 billion dollars last fiscal year. So no worries there, more than enough money being made across the company as a whole. I think you’ll find it the managers who make those decisions not the division. I love it. Battery life is excellent - iPhone 15 pro max territory. The 10vi is light and the narrower dimensions make it easy to hold one handed. The taller dimensions make it great for reading eBooks.
Xperia 10 mark v

this phone is going for 689 SGD in Singapore which is just ridiculously overpriced for a phone with very outdated specs.

I agree it didn't look natural. But he did say that. Was an honest review.

@@BAdventures I did all you saying. It was glitchy out of the box, factory reset helps only temporarily for couple days. Ive exchanged under warranty and second one lasted for 20 days and glitches started again, i just gave up but phone itself is nice if no freezing
I have the xperia 10 vi, some glitch and freezing are still there. Really annoyed me whe the apps freeze, like youtube the video playing but u can't control it.
Hello friends, I would like you to help me, what device do you recommend, this SONY XPERIA 1iii device OR THE SONY 10VI?? Since the 10VI model I see is more current but it is a mid-range, the other is a high-end from 3 years ago. Thanks in advance.
It's their niche market: compact phone, stock Android, 3.5mm audio jack, Micro SD Card expansion slot, and no notch holes on screen. Shop around and find the best deal.
If it wasn't for the urgent replacement I would have got this Xperia 10 VI (mark 6), or the Xperia 5 V (mark 5).
snapdragon 6 gen 1, 60 hz screen perfect for $299 basic phone.. sony built their own grave.
Notification LED?, atleast now it can record upto 4k while the 10 V didnt, but is a bummer still stuck @60hz could've atleast upped it to 90hz refresh rate.
It's their niche market: compact phone, stock Android, 3.5mm audio jack, Micro SD Card expansion slot, and no notch holes on screen.
90hz you wouldn't see much differnce but your battery wouldi.. it's the same rate for Iphone 15.. unless you go pro for gaming
How is the sound quality through the earphone jacks? I like to use my ciem.
How would this compare today to my sony xperia 5ii which was a flagship model in 2020/21 . Can this model handle 2 - 3 hrs of youtube ,netflix use daily. My xperia 5ii was great for 4 years apart from the green line on the screen this week.
How durable is this phone?
Now if Motorola would actually offer that many years of software updates.
5 years os and security updates on some newer models
They do now, its selected, but the moto g stylus has 5 years os security
Kinda disappointed with that photo app. I want to adjust photos manually and don't want any AI to decide what I like.
The 60hz is such a shame. I was certain that was the one thing they would surely have to upgrade over the previous version.
It's their niche market for a compact style phone, with 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro SD Card expansion slot, and no notch on screen. CPU: Qualcomm SM6450 Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4 nm), Octa / 8-core. Look up the specs. Newer computer chips costs more.
@@BAdventures All true but you can get a phone for $150 that has 120hz so the 60hz on a $350 phone really stands out especially on the android side.
So what is the best Sony phone to get
Hi, what about quality of sound in headphones by jack 3.5? The same as 10 V or even better? Is good phone for listen music (better than 10 V)? Good for audiophils?
Yes audio is good. Depends on your headphones. It's their niche market for a compact style phone, with 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro SD Card expansion slot, and no notch holes on screen.
@@n123v idi nahui)))))))))))
In all sony phones the jack is nothing special. It's nice that it's there but don't expect any crazy DAC or quality like LG used to do. Yeah they could leverage this with their walkman legacy and all that but they probably won't not to canibalise the walkman sales.
Of course it's good for audiophils from having 20-20 000hz in bluetooth TO 5-100 000hz on a MDR headphone.
Will it be possible to use this phone in the USA?
5A giant company, one of the first global companies in the field of digital, but the only mistake it made was not to develop a processor of its own for phones.
I don't understand how sony 10 vi battery life test is lower than 1 vi???
FHD+ ✅
60Hz ✅
Camera ✅
1,299? ❌ No no no
It's only 400 though
Finally! An upgrade on the updates!
Does 10VI have eye af too?
What US carrier does it work flawlessly with though?
I have an older Xperia V III , the lack of a physical camera button puts me of this model
Good info bro 👍 👍
Xperia 10 III = 60hz
Xperia 10 IV = 60hz
Xperia 10 V = 60hz
Wtf is wrong with them ?
There is NO reason that they continue to put 60hz and same processor every year, i literally don't understand.
It's their niche market: compact phone, stock Android, 3.5mm audio jack, Micro SD Card expansion slot, and no notch holes on screen.
@@BAdventures It's an excuse.
All of that won't stop to add at least 90hz.
They are simply lazy, nobody will take their smartphone :
1. Two years update only
2. Slow CPU
3. Having 3.5mm without any good audio interface
4. 60hz
5. No more telephoto lens for true zoom and not numerical zoom
This is a bad product overall objectively, sorry but you are wrong by saying the opposite, you cannot convince me that it's a bad idea, only the design/weight are the argument here.
Can you explain to me why you need more than 60Hz on a phone that is not aimed at gamers? And please don't tell me about smooth scrolling. That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
@@diegocabrejas6059 No need to argue with you, i already know it is useless and you are a casual.
Why you need to have crappy laggy 60hz ?
It's not comfortable, mostly because it increase the touch of latency which can help for typing text quickly.
@@AquilaeYT touch sampling is 120Hz in the Xperia 10. 60Hz only refers to the screen refresh frequency. If that's what you are referring to.
Did you know most films and TV shows are 24 frames per second? Are they laggy? This phone gives you almost triple that.
1st 😻 Good to be back!
Is this sold in the US?
I didn't expect to see pictures from Bulgaria here.
have you test the 3.5mm headphone jack with high res audio?
I can't wait to test it..from having 20-20 000hz in bluetooth TO 5-100 000hz on a MDR headphone.. If you love music this is the way to listen to it. period.
Does anyone know if it is possible to connect to a TV via a USB-C and HDMI cable? I would be happy to hear from those who have tried it.
The absolutely ridiculous disconnection from the rest of the world. Whoever decided to put a 60Hz display in 2024 should be publicly shamed and blacklisted from ever working in tech industry.
Apple
Is it performance good enough in genshin, i play on the ip se currently
looks like a throwback phone.
Wtf does that mean?
@@mirageelite3423 it means the phone looks outdated. 😁
Now i know why Steve Jobs loved Sony so much...
Why?
There is no info about Hi-Res Audio. If you have new JBL Boombox 3 you Should buy Mi 11 Lite 5G, its half price cheaper and more options for sound quality!
Should I get the 10 vi or the 1 iv
Does this phone have a little notification blinker light on it?.. I like the notification light..
It's funny that the review should mention that it doesn't have a Pro/Manual mode when they never take that into consideration when rating the pictures.
Yes good point lol. I had the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact from 2016-2023, over 7 years. Worked in Australia and travelling SE Asia, just swapped SIM cards. Never had overheating or software issues. 10 is no longer mid range. it was midrange for 5 years and didnt change at all. it is now low-end
CPU: Qualcomm SM6450 Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4 nm), 8-core. Look up the specs. I'm sure the CPU upgrade helped with the camera image processing, both still photo and video. I was about to get samsung, until I see there are no jackphones. These new developments drive me crazy! The only downside is this phone does not come with a charger cable
Will you do a review of Sharp Aquos R9 please?
NOT FOR AMERICA & NOT FOR EUROPE ???
In EU we need 25fps from a Sony phone!
Did SONY actually removed 25fps - Pal mode ???
All previous version had 25fps for EU Countries (with 230V 50Hz)
No feature is more important than having usable framerates especially for SONY camera users (your No.1 customers)
Even more when this will not be released in America (if i understood correct)
WHY ?
Rubbish.
Fail.
+ Compact size, clean OS android.
It's their niche market: compact phone, stock Android, 3.5mm audio jack, Micro SD Card expansion slot, and no notch holes on screen.

What a disappointment, I was hoping for some serious upgrades that could justify its price to performance but this ain't looking too good.
Can Sony phone install any dual apps easily?
Does this phone have tap to wake screen feature like pixel and samsung phones do?
How to buy India? Please
60Hz? Sorry, Sony, but you're out of your mind...
I think they WANT to go bankrupt at this point
@@1vbAPiYkTheir net profit was about 7 billion dollars last fiscal year. So no worries there, more than enough money being made across the company as a whole. The decisions being made in their phone division continue to be strange though, that's true. The 1 VI made considerable progress this time around, but the 10 VI remains as weak as the line ever was ...
It's a camera phone first made to last before a media consumption phone. Disappointing choice for the general customer, but perfect for hobbyist who wants a manual camera experience in a phone.
Yeah, just like shitty apple
@@cguralol Really comparable stuff.

Shame I can't buy it. Not available for the USA market
Australia has the same problem. Sony doesn't release products consistently in each country. That includes cameras, TV's, etc. Customers have complained for years. I ordered my Sony Xperia 5 IV 256GB model on the grey market. Look for online sellers that will ship to your region.
what about waterproof function? tested?
1.5m under water for Sony VS 6 meters for Iphone
Sony sadly no longer releases phones in Australia :(
If they continue on this path they will soon release phones nowhere.
No longer in Brazil too.. 😔
Yeah, can't grow if they don't sell in major markets.. I don't think they sell the new one in the USA neither. Only a few more years of Sony phones at this pace
No longer Canada either....
wait wait wait !!
No AOD and no notification LED ?
But...how you know you receive a message or something ? O_o
You must not have bought a phone in a while. News flash buddy, no one makes LED notifications anymore aside from Sony and maybe some other Chinese manufacturers.
