I love this build!!! I just got my first pc a month ago and did an SSD upgrade , but i almost broke it. You have to leave the screw that is near that pcie slot and then screw the ssd down using an extra m2 screw. Otherwise as you can see in your video, the SSD is bending down towards the screw since it’s not level.

And it made me miss having a stationary pc around (Am using a laptop that is quite good for the games I game but there are moments I miss stationary pc's) And as I've watched your first build I must write, that you seemed a lot surer with what you where doing now within the build. I like white PC more than clack ones. Reason RGB looks so much better in white cases, the colors gets reflected so nice and are much more saturated.

I really love the cooling unit the most, since I've always seen ones that play gifs and animations, but never understood how it actually works or how you get it to work!
I'm sure you're going to have no issues selling off all your old parts, and it'll give you some nice cash to save aside for something else you'd want!
How's your new PC compared to the old one?
I remembered you mentioning in the video you got a part to help your PC boot-up faster, so I was pretty curious about the significant differences between your old PC and your new one.
tbh the only difference is the time it takes to boot up and also open applications but it’s really good!

You should put the m.2 on the First Slot because that is the fastest you can get.
If you put it on the second Slot ist dont run over The CPU Directly. It Runs over the Mainboard Chip and then to the CPU. If you put ist on the First slot it Runs directly over the CPU and is much Faster.

I would recommend getting an Asus white Strix 3080 because it would look really good in your white build as well as giving much better GPU performance ( only if you need or want better graphics)

Ughhhhh watching these PC building videos makes me want to change my PC all the time hahaha I unintentionally ended up with an all black build which works for what I use it for an I'm fortunante enough to even own one but man watching these videos makes me wanna change it to all sorts of colors lol
you should get an rgb strip for the case! More suggestions would be strimer cables and/or rgb fans, but they can be expensive. you can always customize your peripherals, wallpapers, and even browser themes tho!

If there's only one M.2 ssd in use it should be installed to the slot that is nearer the cpu. M.2 slot that is below the PCie connectors is secondary and a bit slower.
Awesome build, only word of advice is with the ssd install you should've installed it in the upper slot, and not the lower slot and you forgot the m.2 standoff. Its currently being bent and that could damage it
I am about to install a new SSD and I just realized my mobo has 2 m.2 slots as well. One is with a heatsink and one without. I bought an SSD with a heatsink so I was worried that I had to put it on the top m.2 slot which has the built-in mobo heatsink. I asked my friend who is a computer tech and he said that it doesn't really matter where you place your SSD.
@@sapph3904 The top slot has a reserved PCIe x4 connection with the CPU, while the second one would be linked to the chipset and using the PCIe x4 connection that the chipset uses to communicate with the CPU. The top slot if slightly faster, but if you cannot use it, it is not the end of the world.
@@Z0T3_ i placed it on the top slot and did not put back the built in heatsink since it would not fit.

Great vid! FYI, the m.2 slot you used is PCI-e gen 3 rather than the faster PCI-e gen 4 slot. Moving the m.2 up to the slot under the graphics card will ensure you maximize cpu and storage drive's performance.
not necessarily. using the top slot will borrow lanes from the top gpu slot. which then leads to less performance from the gpu. It specifies in the owners manual of the B550-A that if you are using 1 m.2 then to use the bottom pci slot for it.
watching you do the peel gave me a heart attack LOL. I saw a video where some guy did a peel on a new build while it was on and it created enough ESD and fried the RGB and could have taken the system out

The way those fans connected together 😮😮. Little too much RGB for me but still looks dope!! With 6 intake fans and 3 exhaust I would like to see a video of what your systems temps look like under load as well as airflow.

Remember that that M.2 slot is only PCIe Gen 3.0!...If you in the future pretend to put a faster one, PCe Gen 4 put on the slot on top of the gpu slot.
