- Kenyan athletes have made history for dominating almost all major athletics competitions this year. And as the country celebrates their victory, there is one man who was outstanding during the recently concluded i-a-a-f world athletics championships in Daegu, South Korea. Not only did Ezekiel Kemboi win gold in the 3,000 men's steeple chase, but he will also be vividly remembered for his victory dance immediately after. It was a victory dance that has since been compared to Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt's trademark, and one that will go down in history as one of the highlights of the games. Citizen television's Evelyn Wambui tracked down this 29 - year - old world beater and talked to him about his celebratory dance, in the process discovering that Kemboi's passions transcend the track arena. Here are this week's Newsmakers.
