Bootleg figures are fine with a little fixer upper like joint and paint fix. With how expensive figures are getting, you would want an alternative. I buy bootlegs because it's 3x less the original price, or because the original figure is unavailable in retail stores forcing me to buy internationally which will cost me more.
I will say bootlegs could be good for customs if you don't want to paint over a $100 figure. I made a ps5 Spiderman custom with this figure and it worked alright, just had to touch up the joints.
Hey Beebzie! Just a quick note, if you don’t want the tops of the boxes to warp, you should open them from the bottom. Opening them from the side where the plastic window wraps around the box causes it to warp the plastic, meaning the flap won’t really sit as flush with the box as it did.

these aren't 3D printed web lines, they are 3D web lines that are painted. If you didn't know, 3D prints are never found on action figures because 3D prints make whole ass objects and if you say the web lines are 3D printed on, then most likely the web lines would fall off
I had this bootleg on January, I literally thought this was the original on eBay, I saw the reviews and it said that it was a bootleg, when it came at my house and started playing with it this figure just breaks for no reason because i wasn’t posing it aggressively,all i can say is,BOOTLEGS AREN’T WORTH ANYTHING
At least the bootleg has the shoulders on the correct sides. 7:42 You can see the bootleg's red web pattern lines up better than the authentic figure's 2:53. This is because Mafex mislabeled the shoulder parts on their figure and assembled them on the wrong sides.

The reason the bootleg has glossy eyes is because it’s based off a different more shinier version of the original mafex
