Arrma Kraton 4s Hybrid first drive!

- I refreshed my hybrid with Mojave arms, some modified Fireteam towers, and 2.8 Jetko tires! Insteon buying a new K4S that I didn’t have room for, I just made one. Also in this video; My son broke the Syncro 4S on a bad nose dart. I experimented with different ramp heights. Higher gives you an automatic backflip with minimal distance. 2 from the bottom gives you good distance but not quite a backflip.

That thing is moving so quick on the pavement it almost looks like you have the video sped up 1.5x. Very cool car!

I like the way it sounds man. Super Smooth.. killer hybrid build. The ramp seems to be launching your trucks quite well. Your son is having lots of Fun out there too. Syncro4 came down pretty hard 😢. Doesn't look like it in the video bummer on the Ackerman went. Another awesome run Aaron.

Very nice build and bash! I did a Kraton 4s scratch build using the Typhon TLR chassis about a year ago. It is a blast!

Dude, nice job on hybrid. I like the idea of removing a little width from those trucks. Must make it a little tighter.
The Syncro landing was a bummer. And definitely bad luck. I've been putting mine through a lot of punishment, and so far the only thing to break has been the body around the mounts. Now, I haven't had it nose dive like that. The buggy does handle well, so it would have pulled the front end up no problem. I think your son may have just got that "bad landing" we all refer to where it's that perfect angle and boom! Now, saying that... I've been out with the new Kraton 6s exb and I can't keep rear arms in it to save my life. Two runs, and two broken rear arms. Bent pins too. :/

Sweet . Just got a couple new ones over here . By Lake Erie Cleveland area . Kraton 6s v5 and a rlaarlo cf terminator . Both pretty good so far

Here I was thinking the maxx slash was a mutt then you made this lol. Sucks about the syncro but it happens at least you can fix them unlike the old radio shack stuff I had before I got my first Tamiya. The ramp has 2 holes then a bit of a space then 4 or 5 holes I use it on that 3rd hole seems to be good for height and distance without a lot of speed except on 8s Outcast I had to throttle it a bit get that heavy beast in the air. Funny on my community post some guy said its not an 8S. Umm ok I dont know what I have I guess lol
Thanks for checking out the video! It's nice when you have parts interchangeability to create something new! The 3rd hole on the ramp is pretty good too. That's where I started. I haven't tried the 8s trucks on this ramp. Not sure I am going to. My smaller plastic ramps are ok with them.
@@GreatLakesRC absolutely enjoy the content, if that ramp can handle the 8s Outcast it can handle anything because that is about as heavy as it gets unless you have that raminator thing lol
