I completely agree; this is why I love reading the comment sections of Kurtis's videos :) Also, apparently a few hundred years ago it was reversed - being "manly" meant being soft, emotional, creative, and artistic, and women were considered to be cold and emotionless. When the stereotypes swapped to what they are today, being "manly" was still considered better than being a women because for some reason women always get the short end of the stick. it makes literally no sense and I hate it

The fact that this is the base minimum for being a “good guy” is terrible. The fact “he cooks sometimes” or “isn’t sexist and grossed out by women’s bodies” makes someone a good guy or a good boyfriend makes me sad. If doing the bare minimum is considered someone being “boyfriend material” then this shows we really need to be upping our tolerance and educating more people. These people seem as if they don’t want relationships for being with someone else, they want it for the clout and sex. I could go on for hours.
Ok but have you watched kurtis from here and the last 2 years? In a world where people still get killed for being women, queer, non white and trans it's honestly nice to have an influencer who constantly talks about social issues, how to have healthy relationships, uses inclusive language easily, etc. Compared to a majority of men who don't even wash their ass. Kurtis is one of the few youtubers I’ve seen who is mindful of where they place midroll ads. Usually I have no problem watching ads because I know it’s how a channel makes money. However, it bothers me when someone places one randomly and it interrupts a sentence. Kurtis, on the other hand, reviews the video and places an ad between shots to avoid interrupting a thought. This attention to detail is something I really appreciate and is one more reason why Kurtis is one of my favorites.
