Iron Maiden is and has been my all time favorite band ever for over thirty years. The first song I ever listened to by Iron Maiden is Hallowed Be Thy Name back in the mid 80's at barely 8 years old. Killers was the first album I ever got from Iron Maiden on cassette tape at Camelot Music store. I love the Paul Dianno era, the first Bruce Dickinson era, the Blaze Bayley era, and the second Bruce Dickinson era big time. I enjoy listening to all their albums from all of these eras very often. My favorite album for the longest time was Killers, but in the past ten years or so Piece Of Mind has become my favorite Iron Maiden album. It has one of my favorite Iron Maiden songs ever To Tame A Land. Hallowed Be Thy Name is and has always been my favorite Iron Maiden song ever. It is the most perfect song I have ever listened to. If I had to do a top five list at the moment. It would have to be.... 5. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner 4. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son 3. To Tame A Land 2. Phantom Of The Opera 1. Hallowed Be Thy Name
Perfecto. Phantom is my fav too. I first heard Maiden when I was 11. Blew my mind. Fond memories playing Dungeons and Dragons with my friends jamming Maiden and Sabbath.
SHMAKAMAGOBGANG!!!!! GREAT VIDEO, it's crazy because your last 5 are my favorite songs also , great fukin job DR.FUKK..KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! #UPTHEIRONS
I have 7 all time favorite Maiden song's. Not! in order cause their hard to pick. 1. Hallowed Be Thy Name 2. Phantom Of The Opera 3. The Number of The Beast 4. 22 Acacia Avenue 5. The Trooper 6. Flight Of Icarus 7. Where Eagles Dare
These are in order from oldest to newest. I pussed out on actually ranking them, but my number one without a doubt is Phantom of the Opera Prowler Remember Tomorrow Phantom Of The Opera Iron Maiden Another Life Killers Purgatory Children Of The Damned The Number Of The Beast Hallowed Be Thy Name Die With Your Boots On Still Life Aces High 2 Minutes To Midnight Powerslave The Rime of the Ancient Mariner Stranger In A Strange Land Be Quick Or Be Dead Paschendale The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg
Wow Dokk. Really surprised Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner didn't make the top 20. Even in the top 10. But like ya said, tomorrow ya might look at it differently.
1. Powerslave 2. Phantom of The Opera 3. Dance of Death 4. Alexander The Great 5. Revelations 6. Hallowed Be Thy Name 7. Flight of Icarus 8. To Tame A Land 9. Rime of The Ancient Mariner 10. Out of The Silent Planet 11. The Nomad 12. The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg 13. Killers 14. Wrathchild 15. The Number of The Beast 16. Children of The Damned 17. Remember Tomorrow 18. Murders In The Rue Morgue 19. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son 20. The Trooper
I made my top Iron Maiden picks awhile ago of their entire song history. Pain in the ass as it took about 3 hours to do. I seem to like their epics so Sign of the Cross is my favorite and For the Greater Good of God, Powerslave, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, To Tame a Land to name a few. There were others up on top too that have been favorites for years like Wasted Years, Wasting Love, Strange World, 22 Acacia Avenue, Judgement of Heaven, even Virus is 1 of my favorites. I love everything they've done. Bruce Dickinson's solo albums too like The Chemical Wedding is my favorite album of all time.
Is there any other bands that could have 60 contenders for a top 20? So much depth.... Good list Doc, I would have slipped in some songs like Revelations and Wasted years, maybe a few more reunion era/less Dianno era but who can argue with your number 1. Nice work
20.seventh son of a seventh son 19.lord of the flies 18.deja vu 17.sign of the cross 16.two minutes to midnight 15.aces high 14.22 acacia avenue 13.children of the damned 12.can i play with madness 11.strange world 10.purgatory 9.where eagles dare 8.geghis khan 7.prodigal son 6.powerslave 5.sun and steel 4.be quick or be dead 3.judas be my guide 2.the prophecy 1.killers
I'm a total Dianno slappy. Heard first album in Jr. High...frikken amazing!! I remember being disappointed when I first heard Number of the Beast...took a bit to get it's hooks into me. First two were the only ones I owned on Vinyl.
It took a LONG time, but I finally warmed up to X Factor. Some amazing songs - and Sign of the Cross is one of their best (admittedly much better w/ Bruce singing).
I always watch your KISS content, but as someone whose fave band is Maiden, I enjoyed hearing what your fave tracks are. Sun and Steel IS over-rated, as is Flash of the Blade. The first album is my favorite as well, and the production suits the material. And Clive > Nicko, IMHO. Cool shirt, by the way.
I understand it is your opinion. But your list is way too Paul heavy. You should do a Paul top 10, a Bruce top 10 and a Blaze top10. Dance of Death is great despite the bad cover art. Pashindale is one of their best songs.
as much as i love bruce, whenever i listen to those first 2 records, i feel a type of magic i dont feel with any other maiden album.
Best Comment Award...
I always love Maiden and I love Bruce...But Paul D is my favorite ...so my favorites are the first 2 Albums......

Bravo Dr . for " No Prayer " - its great album but everybody shit on him .
except real listeners
@@aleksandarfrick2656 In my opinion No Prayer is not on the same level as the records before that but it’s still good/okay.
I'm a total Dianno slappy. Heard first album in Jr. High...frikken amazing!! I remember being disappointed when I first heard Number of the Beast...took a bit to get it's hooks into me. First two were the only ones I owned on Vinyl.
Love me some maiden! Not at all a fan of the Blaze era but its all pretty good.
It took a LONG time, but I finally warmed up to X Factor. Some amazing songs - and Sign of the Cross is one of their best (admittedly much better w/ Bruce singing).

I'm not a Paul Dianno fan but that video looked and sounded BAD ASS!!!! Thanks Ralph!!!!!
Up the irons
Fuck yeah givin Clive mad props!!! Dude listen to maiden on the killers tour live in madison square garden fuckin Clive rips that shit
My top 20 is easy every song off the first two albums and twilight zone

The fact that Iron Maiden is too old to perform the #1 song is sad 😢
The earlier albums are much better
Bruce >> Paul
I understand it is your opinion. But your list is way too Paul heavy. You should do a Paul top 10, a Bruce top 10 and a Blaze top10. Dance of Death is great despite the bad cover art. Pashindale is one of their best songs.
That's his opinion, you halfwit. Make your own list if you don't like his. Then get AIDS and piss off
Paul over Bruce, no way, agrree with half your list
