- Hiking with our kids up to Surprise View, near Keswick in the Lake District.
This 3 mile family walk takes in the well-known Ashness Bridge and the beautiful Lodore Falls, overlooking Ullswater.
This family walk is perfect for anyone staying in Keswick and wanting to get out for some great views. But if you are not quite feeling up to it, you could cheat a little and drive straight up to Surprise view instead.
We have more Lake District walks coming soon as we have set ourselves the challenge of completing a family wainwright for each month of 2022.

Yeah the waterfall was amazing, especially because we have had a lot of rainfall!
i .m sure i noticed your van between buttermere and thirlmere this weekend just gone when i was motorbiking up the lakes, it has very distinctive graphics, a citroen relay i believe.
