It was likely to be explosive, because the repeated Spring the Trap only pulled out one secret, even though it killed honorably, which means the opponent had all the remaining unique secrets from their deck in play. So if they play 2 explosive traps, the second one had to be that secret.
I was not convinced about naga mage but those spitelash turns are barely worse than the original darkglare deck. In fact, maybe they're better considering he seems to always end turn with a huge hand remaining.
That combined with the fact that it is not just board building, but also includes burn from hand, plus the small upside you don't have to take damage to meet the requirement, makes this deck superior.
dark glare is way faster and that was part of it's strength. while a turn like that is still good late your opponent will also be doing things of comparable power at that mana.
Problem is Trump is just way way WAY too slow of a thinker/player to play this deck. He has such a low APM and overthinks/second guesses plays during Spitelash turns.
Biggest enemy: The rope. Second biggest enemy: Missplays. Third biggest enemy: Not knowing what some cards do/how they work. Fourth biggest enemy: The opponent. Is this the new solitaire mage?
I love how he kept repeating naga spell multiple times but still always forget and have to look at the card instead of just saying one thing what he need to play next.

I do like that Trump isn't running Ignite in this deck though. That card screws up with your draws a bit too much. Fire Sale is a much better anti-Aggro option and it provides additional cycle if you don't need it.
Artosis used to complain that the coin shouldnt be a spell. This deck shows why, zero mana gain two mana shouldnt happen and blizzard agree but have never sorted out the coin issue.

31:20 Sure sure, but the deck that REALLY counters curse warlock is questline hunter because the curses trigger the quest since they're spells in your hand. I was playing a game against one and thought I miscounted the number of spells I used, then realized what was happening as Tavish was immediately added to my hand at the start of turn 5 after only having played 3 spells. Albeit of course my opponent should have just waited to start giving me curses until later but I'm sure they didn't realize they were helping me either.

Naga Nerf when its broken in shaman too not just mage the fact that gets cheat turns the tiny pool of nagas makes amalgam busted not to mention the thing works on totems....... yes you can just pick any of the 3 totems that are in standard at any time missing a small amount of damage wanna draw cards yeah just hero power amalgam and get yourself guarented draw power or damage 100% of the time yes you heard it here 100% of the time. You can't miss because the core set didnt add a single bad totem and thiers none in standard. I feel like a bad informerchal but yes 100% of the time.
