Great performance by Armour! For the small bottle, it is very price competitive too! Although the gallon comparatively is not compared to TEC582. I would love to see a chemical torture test of Armour vs TW Seal N Shine!
ADS is putting out some great products. Their Pro ceramic coating is awesome. I have it on my cousin's car & on 3 panels on my car, plus a test panel, testing it against some pre-release products from a local ceramic company. Solid, solid stuff.
Man.. if this tells me anything it’s that I should be using Adams wheel and tire cleaner as a decon wash!! I’d love to see you implement something like OG Decon soap or CarPro Descale to see how that stuff takes off toppers.
Yes you should use Adam's as a decon wash as well. It's frigging awesome and works extremely well. Just make sure to foam it on. I found it works better that way as it has a little better cling and dwell time just don't let it dry anywhere. You don't have to dilute it but you could just be weaker.
All the tests of Tech 582 seem to overlook what happens once you build up a couple layers of product. After a few washes of applying it as a drying aid I've found it to be much more durable and hydrophobic. Once you get that layer stacked up its awesome!
@HawaiiDetailing You've said in the past that you don't like building up layers, but can you explain that a little bit? I wash every 5-7 days and alternate between Tec582 and Bead Maker and feel it has built up a REALLY nice layer. From a cost-equivalent standpoint you could wash your car every 10 days and apply Tec582 each time; I think that would provide superior results to using Armour about once a month.
@@G0F15H what I mean is that using really durable sealants too often is not needed. I like to apply a strong sealant and then I use a less durable products as a drying aid for my weekly wash. Applying 6 month sealants every wash would be excessive but some people ask if this is ok. I would re-apply the heavy sealant when there is evidence of it fading. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching
