- Au Sable River, Michigan: The excitement of fly fishing is not in the casting, it's in the challenge to make a connection. When you connect with that particular fish you've been trying to catch, the mood changes from quiet and calm to a spectacular dance that's electric to experience.
Michigan's Au Sable River is a dry fly fishing destination known for it's serene waters and abundance of trout that keeps fishermen coming back.

Wow, this made me miss my home state so much. I love the AuSable river so much. So many great memories on that winding river. Thanks for sharing this video!
@Fluffy Unicorn I live in Key West, Florida now for the past 10 years.
Great to see Josh Greenberg! Our family treks up to his Gates Lodge annually for fishing, food and fellowship. Highly recommend!
Amazing scenery.
great video folks, very special place!!!
Josh, that is one great movie. I do miss our float trips.
I miss the AuSable. I lived in Grayling for 18+ years. Now I live in Nebraska. Our rivers here are very very different.
Very well done ladies and gents 👏
Awesome! We're actually thinking about moving up there. This video makes it even more enticing.
Very well done video.
Now THAT'S a great video!
Great video and description my wife and I are taking a fishing camping trip to the Au sable next year we are so excited thinking 🤔 about hiring a guide haven’t decided yet on the guide
...We did the Grayling to Mio thing with an overnight about 30 years ago... Six of us bringing our own canoes (3), two coolers, camping gear, and a three burner Coleman camp stove...A little beer and rotgut didn't hurt any either... You could actually do the whole journey in a day (and part of the night) if you were physically fit and really horsed it, but we had a couple of avid fly fishermen in the group, and it wasn't all about getting there... Nothing notable caught, except a few pan fish for that night's dinner... Can't remember where we camped (somewhere well before McMaster's, might've been Rainbow Bend, I think), but we all had a great time...
Well Done!
I live in Southern Ohio but got the chance to get up to the AuSable with Trout Unlimited... that was last summer and idk what else to say... Im Addicted
