In relation to both Kendrick and BVB's collabs there was that one time recently where to promote their next game vs Darmenstada the BVB social admin used the good kid, m.A.A.d city cover but the van was yellow and the background now had the Signal Iduna Park also in yellow. Another one (a funny, outrageous one if you're Argentinian): the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, tried to be a professional goalkeeper in the club Chacarita. However, he claimed from time to time to be a Boca Juniors supporter except on some occasions, like 2018, saying that he supported the all time rival River Plate during the Libertadores 2018 final in Santiago Bernabéu, a final River won. How is that little fact important? Because he himself screamed (as per usual) that on TV and even though in that time it wasn't relevant, a few years later not only he won the elections for president (yeah, that sucks if you're Argentinian, whether you voted him or not), but also he committed to change the football federation through intervention, thankfully he's still failing to do so, otherwise FIFA may sack Argentina of international competitions, both clubs and national team. And here's why the part where he didn't support Boca in 2018 becomes a critical fact: last year, the club had elections and Milei said several times that he would support the opposition, Mauricio Macri, former Boca Juniors president (and another Argentinian ex-president). During the elections day there was a natural disaster which destroyed the Bahía Blanca Town. Instead of prioritizing the survivors of that disaster, he went to Boca to vote for Macri. Boca supporters who were there to vote actively swore him for being a corrupt SOB, an accomplice of Macri in his plan of privatizing football, and of course, celebrating River's win at the most important Libertadores final against Boca. BTW, the current Boca Juniors president is Juan Román Riquelme, one of the best footballers of that club
Bruh the part about him supporting River always makes me laugh, also didn't he try to ""justify it"" by explaining that he didn't like Gago (player) or something like that? As for the fighting with the AFA i agree that he shouldn't try and intervene like that, the risk with FIFA is too great and, honestly, he has no business doing it and should keep his hands off football, though...with the confirmation yesterday that Argentina is removing relegations and that we're going to 30 teams in the first league after they spent months denying that they were planning to do so (We went from 24 to 28 and now 30 in like 4 years or something WHY IS THERE PEOPLE STILL SUPPORTING AFA'S PRESIDENT) i don't know who to support anymore, it really seems like the right choice is nobody.
