      Hi bill! Thanks so much for your comment- we really appreciate you ❤️. Yes!! The Maldives is amazing and also very stressful to plan for with all the amazing choices - don’t hesitate to reach out to us on social or email (team@voyagerguru.com) if you need some guidance or suggestions 👍

    I have no idea where i want to go but what is more important to me is night life, activities and food. Just subscribed to figure it out. Looking to travel in June when I graduate.

      Thanks so much for your comment, Buffy! We appreciate the subscribe :). Punta Cana is a great, reasonably priced, safe destination if you're looking for a great all-inclusive experience that won't break the bank. I am happy to recommend some places if you have a basic budget in mind?

    Currently a few days away from an all inclusive in St Lucia. My fist all inclusive. Usually i'll go to places in Europe or up in the mountains for hiking, will report back.

    Excellent however I think the #1 deal breaker for an all inclusive would be not including alcohol ! Love the accompanying photos , like taking a trip ! Thanks !

      @VoyagerGuru  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your comment, Diana!! And totally hear you- some hotels are verrryyy sneaky. Thankfully it's rare to see that an "all inclusive" doesn't include alcohol but it's always worth making sure you review the details of the package.

    Just watching some of your videos - great info. As you said I think a big mistake is that people expect 5 star when booking lower star ratings, it happens all the time. It helps to be aware of areas or chains that are simply overrated and although you can find great deals you will generally get what you pay for. Just enjoy it unless of course it is drastic - like one resort we were at that lost water - we got relocated because we remained calm but firm.

      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much for your comment and your advice to fellow travelers!! You’re absolutely right - the best resort is the one you can afford…but you get what you pay for. It’s so smart that you stayed firm, but calm. It can go a LONG way when you’re in a bad situation. We find that most people will not get as far if everything is dramatic and aggressive with hotel staff. Bummer about the water though 🤣. That happened to us once at a resort - we lost power, but ended up in an amazing suite!

    You guys are AWESOME!!! Looking at all inclusive for Christmas 2021…family of 5. Kids (15, 17, 19). 9 day… Recommendation?? Looking to start a new holiday tradition.

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much, Alejandro! That means a lot to us :). Sounds like an amazing christmas plan! So depending on your budget, my favorite new property that just opened is the Hyatt Ziva Riviera - it's BRAND new and is similar to their property in the Dominican Republic - gorgeous and amazing for adults and kids. Since your kids are teenagers, this is a great option since its a bit more sophisticated but still has all the family friendly activities 2. Moon Palace Cancun is also great - has a huuuuge water slide at the main pool. Finest Playa Mujeres is also lovely - family friendly as well. Those are probably my top three right now...let me know if you are looking at a different budget or have different needs- you can also email me if you want! team@voyagerguru.com - happy to help :)

    Thanks so much for these videos. We are looking at the Heritance in the Maldives for our honeymoon this summer. We watched your review of resort and loved it. 1 concern we have is we are planning on going the end of May (wet season) and hoping we get the good weather. We appreciate you letting us know about the cost of activities. I would have liked to do a few dives but not if it breaks the bank. Do you remember how much your 2 tank dive cost?

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Barry! Thanks so much for your comment!! We appreciate your support. Regarding weather, don’t worry :) if it rains it’ll be quick and pass. We’ve always had good luck in wet season. Regarding the cost of activities, to this day, the dives were the most expensive we’ve ever done. It was $250 per person for a one tank dive - LOL. Outrageous!!! It was an amazing dive, but it was very very expensive. If you’re looking at all inclusive, you should also check out emerald they have amazing diving and good prices. Foods not as good as Heritance but good prices overall

    What do you think of Kudadoo Resort in the Maldives. Is it worth the money? Talk about the villas and the food and activities there. Thanks!

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! We have not yet been to Kudadoo but it looks wonderful. they sell the idea of getting anything you want at any time of day and we do like that they include activities, spa treatments etc. With that said, they work that "anytime, anything" into the price so the prices are certainly high. However, if you take advantage of what's offered, it can be a great deals (excursions, spa etc).

    Hi guys! Love your channel. Was wondering if you have a recommendation for an all-inclusive anywhere in the Caribbean that would be good for a girls trip. A good mix of relaxation / lively while also classy (for example not the RIU). Thank you so much.

    Looking into going to Pullman Maldives (Overwater Bungalow) in Aug 2023 for my Birthday... Have you guys been to that particular Resort? What are any pros & cons to that Resort?

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Paula! Thanks for reaching out! We have not yet been, but we are actually going May 2023 so we can’t wait to share it with you!! Be sure to follow us in instagram for in the moment updates when we are there :). Just from what I know before going, some of the pros are: really beautiful lagoon, it’s in a very bio diverse atoll with incredible sea life, love the all inclusive options with vegetarian restaurant and high end brand liquor, bungalows still seem very new. Also there’s amazing deals on luxuryescapes.com right now. Cons: no sea plane due to how far south it is so it’s a domestic flight plus a boat which isn’t bad but it’s not a seaplane and seaplanes are a unique experience. Otherwise, I don’t yet have any amazing feedback to share but I’m sure we will in may! If you have any questions or need any help, let me know!

    Hello, I’ve recently discovered your videos and find them so helpful. My question for you is we are planning a family vacation for next summer. My parents will be coming along and they LOVE cruises. Food and entertainment are especially important to them since they get such good quality of these things on the cruise ships they go on. I’m looking for not only great food and entertainment but fun things for my kids who are 9 and 6 years old. I think they would love a water park on the resort. So, after all that which resorts and destinations do you recommend?

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Erin! So sorry, this appears to have been "held for review"- I'm glad we connected via email and for the sake of others who may be interested in similar information... my TOP all inclusives (without considering budget) are Le Blanc, Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana, Hilton La Romana and Finest in Playa Mujeres. Things to avoid: bavaro beach or cancun/tulum in summer for the seaweed for SURE! :)

    I’m going to Heritance in the Maldives in July is snorkel not included? Any tip before I go the resort , I have book ocean Villa / water villa ? Thanks

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Juan Carlos! Thanks for your comment. Snorkeling equipment is included with your stay and you can pick it up from the water sports center and drop it off at the end of your stay :). I would recommend requesting a room facing away from the resort for the most quiet rooms. Let us know if you have any questions!

    Do we need to tip in maldives at Saii? Should we bring cash (USD, etc)? Thank you!

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! Great question - most hotels in the Maldives include a 10-20% service charge on any purchase you make at the hotel so you do not need to tip. The all inclusive plan at saii also includes this 10% service charge so there’s no need to tip :).

    Since Pullman Maldives is so far South, should I fly into GAN instead of MALE?

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Paula! So you ccaaann technically fly into GAN, but it will really depend on where you are coming from. There are some flights from Colombo, for example, pretty much daily. I would check flights.google.com and see what you can find into Gan - it will make your travel a bit easier if you can avoid Male, but it's not the worst thing if you can't skip it. Google Flights will be the easiest way to check!

    If you want a bottle service in your room, just book 5 star, and even if it's not inclusive, just throw more money at them, trust me they'll be happy to send you even a river of Grey Goose to your room! 😂
