    Thanks for all the information. How many nights do you recommend staying before you'd get bored there?

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Tracey! To be honest, we don't really get island fever normally so it really depends on what you like in a vacation. as far as islands go, though, hard rock is amazing because you actually have access to SAii Lagoon AND crossroads marina where thereis shopping, restaurants and a beach club. There is a lot to do on property. I would say 4 days is the sweet spot, but I could have stayed for 7-10 days to be honest and still have things to explore.

    Really loving this video, it is so informative and I love the vibes between both of you! Hard Rock Maldives really looks like a nice place! I am planning for a honeymoon trip, would you be able to recommend some good value Maldives resort / villa for the purpose (similar budget) as Hard Rock? Many thanks in advance!!

      Hi there! Thank you so much!! It means the world to us to get positive feedback like that :) glad we can help!! Hard rock is a great value for the money. We love that they have SO many dining options and the water is just stunning. I’d request a room facing away from male for the best lagoon. In terms of other hotels, I’m happy to send you a list that fit your budget! Can you send me an email with your dates and approximate nightly budget and I’ll send you the best hotels I know would work in that realm? Team@voyagerguru.com :)

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Stanley! Thanks for your message. It’s a great property! So pretty much every resort is on its own island, including hard rock. There is a marina at hard rock that is very nice but it’s still a tourist destination. You can go into male, but you have to take a boat to go there. I hope this helps!

      Hi Kevin! Thanks for reaching out! Yes, 100% - Hard Rock is a blast and it's a great property to travel with friends. It's super convenient to get to the airport, but still feels far enough away that it has impeccable water. I love the marina restaurants that are included on the all inclusive as well. Overall, highly recommend! If you need any help booking or have any questions, feel free to reach out on IG or over email at team@voyagerguru.com :)

    What would you recommend? The Hard Rock or the Emerald Maldives? It's for my honeymoon in late March.

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for your comment! That’s a great question. I think it depends a little what you’re into. Emerald is definitely more traditional, one island one hotel feel with romantic, quiet areas and lots of honeymooning couples. Hard rock has more of a traditional tropical vacation vibe. It’s still great for honeymoons if you’re into lively entertainment and activities. You’ll see things like group activities and classes with a lively bar atmosphere. I hope this helps!

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there! Thanks for your comment!! There is *some* snorkeling, but they do have snorkeling trips that take you to good reefs that are better than what you find on property. The water is so blue and spectacular because there's not a lot of coral, so definitely a tradeoff. The best snorkeling is actually off of the SAii Lagoon main beach - sometimes you can see dolphins too!

    Hello, thank you very much for these videos, but I have a doubt, the transfer from the airport to the hotel is included in the price? on the hard rock website it is not clear to me.

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Luis! Thanks for your comment! The transfer is not included in the price, usually. Sometimes there may be a special offer that includes the transfer but it has to explicitly state it is included. The transfer costs about $180 per person

    Very informative thank you! We are looking to go all inclusive at hard rock Maldives, but are unsure whether our 17 & 14 year old will be required to eat from the Childs menu. They both have eaten adult sized meals for many years dn they won't like a child menu!. I have reached out to the resort but no answer has come back.

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! Thanks so much for your comment! Hard rock is a fantastic option with teenagers - there’s so much to do and it’s so safe to let them run around and have a great time! I confirmed with my contact at the hotel that they are not required to eat off any kids menus - they’ll have access to regular menus just like adults :). The meal plans are 50% off for them, but that doesn’t mean they have limited menus in this case! Hope this helps!

    I have an issue Saii vs HRH

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We recently stayed back at SAii again and some friends stayed at hard rock but I wish we had booked hard rock. They’ve made some changes since our first trip and we felt the value wasn’t the same. Hard rock was also much quieter at night. We love the outdoor patio furniture at hard rock as well so if you’re between the two, go with hard rock :). You can still go spend time at both properties.

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Maggie! Thanks for your comment. Hard rock was a blast!! There was so much going on every day and night, we loved it. Having access to saii and the marina too was great. For the price, I think it’s amazing. There are a few other party hotels I know if if you’re looking for nightlife, primarily W and Finolhu but hard rock from what I know has the best all around entertainment

    hey guys! how was the reef here?

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Kain! Thanks for your comment. Happy new year!! The reef is not really a reef - it’s super close to male so not super good for snorkeling or fish life. The beaches are spectacular and teal but there’s no real reef. They do have excursions to a reef for snorkeling but a boat is required. Hope this helps!

    Can't decide Saii Lagoon or Hardrock

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Melissa! So the good news is, they are connected so you can use the amenities and facilities of both. SAii is going to be a lot quieter and if you're in an overwater bungalow, you'll have nothing in front of you. Hard Rock has a vibe, there's music and activities and it's very fun. My advice is to open the two websites and look at the rooms within your budget. Pick the room you like best and know you can go between the hotels. I personally liked the quiet of SAii and I really loved the pool area there - I knew that I wouldn't be disturbed by music or partying at SAii which I appreciated.
