    I’m glad he made an album that’s not a Malibu pt2 because they would’ve been compared super hard. I love his rapping flow. I was one of the few that enjoyed Compton. As a producer myself, I can really appreciate the mixing and the production intricacies. Who R U? goes hard Idk why people hate the drums, it makes no sense. I don’t understand how Paak fans would be disappointed with the project. Anderson .Paak is a legit G.O.A.T at this point.

    • @eternalyfeful
      @eternalyfeful 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'm a bit disappointed with OXNARD, I feel like both his previous albums were better, this album lacks the depth that Anderson has, I feel like this album is Dr. Dre's interpretation of Anderson Paak. Malibu was made with less resources, less publicity, no big name features, no Dr. Dre and was a better project. Don't get me wrong, it's cool but for all the hype and waiting, it didn't meet my expectations.

    • @JustJeneeMonique
      @JustJeneeMonique 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Aidan Moore Venice and Malibu have very similar sounds. I can say that this project has a different sound that no one was really expecting to heard from Anderson. I truly appreciate it. Listen to it a few times and you will develop a different appreciation for it. It’s just different but I truly love it .

    • @loclapm
      @loclapm 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Truck Turner Yeah. After multiple listens I’ve learned how hit or miss Mansa Musa and the final track were, but I like those, the last one is funny and it’s technically a bonus track so I don’t really count it. Oxnard is a fast-paced slow burn.

Thats a shame because what my friend showed me was hella lit and super groovy (kinda like oxnard a bit) and it was something i could jam to. I do agree with ur points with dre and i do think he is still a top tier producer even after all his time in the industry. Although my personal fav is 6ix bcse of the lit beats and diversity he has. I agree. It's an amazing album. Not to sound racist or prejudiced but I prefer when black African Americans or White or latino people from urban areas rate and review black music. Not saying anybody can't have a ear for good music but it's more authentic and unbiased. People who can relate more and who knows what sounds to look for. It's about where The artists is trying to go with an album ,and if they accomplish that and get they point across mixed with good beats it a good album. This album was better than his last.

    Trippy is my favorite track off the album so far so I’m disappointed in your best tracks list. The production by Dre was fantastic, beautiful female vocals in the background, catchy hook by Paak and solid verse from him, and funny and great verse from Cole. Loved the sentiment behind it as well.
