This album is definitely more of a vibe, not so much tracks to be bumped at a party, though there is some of that. Listen to the words and concentrate on how the production/music makes you feel. Might have to give it a few listens to fully appreciate it.
Gochi you actually managed to write a whole paragraph without saying anything substantial, like parts of this album. youre telling whoever is reading this to just listen to it more and eventually theyll get used to it.
Is it just me or does his verse on skeletons sound sound a bit like kanye. Thats just imo Also feel like if the song had 1 more verse from travis where the beat changed it could have been flame
Jay D. Thompson you really just wrote a whole paragraph and then said you hate drake haters? I like drake and I made a joke about the line sounding super similar because it does. No need to get so defensive lmao
I really like and appreciate this album. I was worried that it would be mainstream like Birds In The Trap, but it was the opposite. He tried new sounds and experimented while bringing back the old Travis. Right now this album is his second best to me. Rodeo will always be my favorite. It is just a personal thing! But this album was well worth the wait!
Nicholas Tauasosi there’s nothing wrong with mainstream and I don’t hate it. I just prefer his other albums, like rodeo and days before. Don’t jump to conclusions
Nicholas Tauasosi there’s definitely nothing wrong with something being popular, but some of us don’t like the mainstream sound and prefer something raw and different like rodeo and this album.
Nicholas Tauasosi bro it ain’t like that it’s just that huncho jack sound is so generic and boring but wat he did on this is so dope, experimental and fucking amazing.
logan richie not making fun of him for not doing drugs, I just think it’s funny that he rapped about taking it the right way lmao, almost like rapping about taking a Tylenol or something lmao
Amazing album, 9/10. I thought it was a 6 or a 7 at first listen, but after a few more it grows on me so much, especially listening to it as I fall asleep
Stargazing could've been the best song on the album if it was better produced the snippet sounded like something majestic the final product wasnt all that
Kinda like the last song on the deluxe version of rodeo "Never catch me" he cut the 2nd verse that he did in a live performance and did some shit to the instrumental and pretty much fucked the song up. The difference would be we got to hear the final version it just wasn't on the album which was very disappointing.
It definitely wil grow on u, I Listened To is last night n I thought it was ehh, but since then I’ve played it like 5-6 times and I’ve come to enjoy this album a lot, production wise, lyrics , everything , i really enjoy it
I lived in Houston for close to 15 years, and the south my whole life - so I may be biased when I say I might have enjoyed this as much if not more than Rodeo. There are so many references, odes, and samples from the SUC (Houston's iconic music core) and southern hip hop. You can catch nods from artists from Texas to Florida, a lot of it is the same stuff I came up on, from 2live crew to Goodie Mob. I think the most enjoyable thing though is finding all the hidden features on here. I was already flipping out about James Blake, but I didnt even know that was Cudi on the vocals, and just learned Stevie Wonder was on the harmonica (adds so much to that song imo) 5 mins ago. The songs on Rodeo do feel catchier, I'll admit, but this feels like a love note to the lesser-known legends of the south. A lot of love and appreciation went into it, that much I can tell.
I'm not from Houston but I feel like on Rodeo he was telling stories over crazy trap production, and here the production is honestly better but the lyrics don't really go anywhere for a few of his verses
The way you explain the transitions and how they’re abrupt is almost exactly how one would describe a roller coaster, and I think that’s how Travis wanted most to feel when listening to this album
I feel as if in stargazing you enter astrowold then every song after that is a ride hence the reason why there are beat switches, simulating the going up on a rollercoaster then the fall after
Jausmy96 it’s why they dislike it. They don’t like it because of the switches but that’s what the album is supposed to represent, drops, calmness, change in a ride
5 % tint is a sample of dj screws greatest work he’s backtracking his roots because Travis is from Huston dj screw is a legend from Huston Astro world is a famous amusement park that got shut down in Huston tx Travis has a thing for them
As someone who has looked forward to this album for literally years and went into it with maximum hype I can honestly say I was not disappointed... not only that but Travis’ music ages incredibly and it seems like Rodeo gets better each year, I’m really happy with what we got
album is still amazing the replay value is amazing the songs are amazing travis is amazing legit everything about this album is amazing it should of been album of the decade.

@@callmeche1215 Man idk how people are hating on OP so much. It's the same with Kendrick and Overly Dedicated. Just because it's the first project of an artist doesn't mean it's the worst. Of course they are gonna evolve over literally almost a decade. Smh

8.5 or 9 amazing production lyrics were good and I didn’t feel like the album was a chore to listen to. His feature game was lit except for nav but nav is bleh so it was gonna happen. The album isn’t a masterpiece and tbh it was slightly overhyped but it was a great album and definitely top ten material for this year
I listened to this album from start to finish with headphones on for the first time and I feel like your first experience should be this way with this album, with headphones and an hour to zone out without abruptions. I took all the beat switches or random cuts as like I’m on a roller coaster.. all the song mood changes are like the highs and lows of the roller coaster that catch you off guard. Sonically this album is beautiful, it’s a sonic roller coaster, and we all know Travis’ isn’t the greatest lyrically but he’s fun to listen too and I think that’s what you have to expect. I think this album comes together very nicely, I do believe some songs should of maybe been thought out more. Yosemite and Who? What! We’re more of fillers and should of had better features, I’m tired of hearing the migos at this point I think a lot of us are, and Yosemite was just eh. Other than that I went in this album with low expectations and was blown away, I think the mixing and Sonics were phenomenal and Mike Dean put it together beautifully the production was great. Especially hearing Stargazing for the first time the bass threw me off I loved it. I’d say this albums a 9/10 for me.
This whole paragraph is an embarrassing example of how hard Travis fans think they know “good music” from “bad music” this album is dedicated to all the supreme wearing 8th graders .
Let’s all remember that a lot of people hated rodeo at first, and took time for the dust to settle before it was considered as good as it is now. Just saying, you always have to give a Travis album time. It will definitely grow on you just like Rodeo did.
"OOOF-WHITE" that’s what I thought about rodeo at first. Not saying it’s as good necessarily just I always give an album a few weeks before I can definitively rank it

YOSEMITE with Gunna on the hook was smooth. Would've liked an actual verse from him instead of NAV...
Little did shawn know that sicko mode would become the “hottest” track, a meme, and a short-lived superbowl performance
Yeah lol also one of the most iconic beat switches of the decade
This album is definitely more of a vibe, not so much tracks to be bumped at a party, though there is some of that. Listen to the words and concentrate on how the production/music makes you feel. Might have to give it a few listens to fully appreciate it.
Gochi you actually managed to write a whole paragraph without saying anything substantial, like parts of this album. youre telling whoever is reading this to just listen to it more and eventually theyll get used to it.
straight waffle LOOOL
facts you just gotta vibe to the beat and let travis scott, be travis scott
that’s exactly how it is with a kanye album too
Look again 👽🍄🃏🌌
Bro, Skeletons is fire, but it’s probably gonna be a song thats slept on by many...
VVS Chopps skeleton was my fav track
Is it just me or does his verse on skeletons sound sound a bit like kanye. Thats just imo
Also feel like if the song had 1 more verse from travis where the beat changed it could have been flame
Just like 90210
5% tint production fire too
That’s my favorite track by far tbh
Deadass thought the same thing on “Sicko Mode” i was like, “since when does Drake do xans?”🤦🏽♂️😂
Viciously MV since he started listening to japan by dex apparently lmao
Viciously MV He’s talked about it before on Tuesday but yeah I agree definitely took me off guard
Jay D. Thompson you really just wrote a whole paragraph and then said you hate drake haters? I like drake and I made a joke about the line sounding super similar because it does. No need to get so defensive lmao
Swear defending drake is a full time job for drake stans lmao
Imo Travis Scott albums
1. Rodeo
2. Astroworld
3. Days before rodeo
4. Birds
5. Huncho jack
6. Owl pharoah
Jelani P Whoa, Owl Pharoah is better than Huncho Jack and Birds
Jelani P I agree with this
Jelani P 1. Birds 2. Rodeo 3. Dbr 4. Owl pharaoh 5. Astroworld
OWL PHARAOH>>>>huncho jack
owl pharaoh last? YOU'RE DRUNK
It ain't better than Rodeo, but damn if it don't come close.
Jordan Davis it don’t lol
Not up to par with Rodeo or DBR but it’s good
Xen Rodeo’s a masterpiece, Astroworld’s still amazing tho
Rodeo fucking sucks so nobody cares
Ryan Matson how does rodeo suck edge lord
I really like and appreciate this album. I was worried that it would be mainstream like Birds In The Trap, but it was the opposite. He tried new sounds and experimented while bringing back the old Travis. Right now this album is his second best to me. Rodeo will always be my favorite. It is just a personal thing! But this album was well worth the wait!
Joey Fines what’s wrong with mainstream 😂😂😂 hating something popular doesn’t make you cool
Joey Fines I get it’s personal but rn I’m debating this may top rodeo for me bro.
i feel bad he missed the insane transition between wake up and 5% tint

LMAO
He literally rapped about taking Xanax as it’s prescribed LOL
logan richie not making fun of him for not doing drugs, I just think it’s funny that he rapped about taking it the right way lmao, almost like rapping about taking a Tylenol or something lmao

DRAKE'S PART OF SICKO MODE IS LITERALLY A SCORPION THROWAWAY
FACTS LOL
And it’s still better than scorpion
His second verse was so ass that it still somehow was good Travis saved the track
he was literally rapping about taking *half* of a xanax and falling asleep. Its trash homie
Yea I think the last drake verse is the same beat as Nonstop no?
Who tf mixes up nav with juice wrld....
smh lmao most people would at least mistake juice for post
Loot Lordz Travis Scott
Loot Lordz lol
Loot Lordz THATS WHAT I SAID 😂😂

Amazing album, 9/10. I thought it was a 6 or a 7 at first listen, but after a few more it grows on me so much, especially listening to it as I fall asleep
Msha Maxwell hey man leave him alone
Msha Maxwell Lol nah bro, the music is just so sonically pleasing, that it just knocks me out loool
I still think it's a 7 or 7.5 at best

Andrew Jarquin Mallory Bros*

Ben Dova suit yourself
Worst tracks astrothunder 😂😂😂😂 that’s insane
Late but fr tho that was my favorite on the album
Astroworld Rodeo he prefers nc-17 lmao
Astroworld Rodeo one of the best in my opinion
Valentin Henkel honestly
Stargazing could've been the best song on the album if it was better produced the snippet sounded like something majestic the final product wasnt all that
Fax no printer
Bruno StPatrick drake's parts on sicko mode sounded like an outtake from scorpion
Kinda like the last song on the deluxe version of rodeo "Never catch me" he cut the 2nd verse that he did in a live performance and did some shit to the instrumental and pretty much fucked the song up. The difference would be we got to hear the final version it just wasn't on the album which was very disappointing.
Stargazing is the oh my/dis side for astroworld
Stargazing sounded amazing on the snippets, but the final version was somehow ass
I’m convinced we’ll never get another “Maria I’m Drunk” 😩😢
Travis best song imo
x Prospect objectively and subjectively man I don’t think he’ll ever come close to it
Don Breezy I'm sayin😔😔

I think his best song is 90210 but Maria I’m drunk is hard asf
Why the hell do none of y'all like Birds???
Tomas Boonty we do we’re just being picky
This is a lot better than birds tho and that was still pretty good
birds feels like a buch of rodeo throaways
I personally like Birds and Rodeo better than Astroworld, but I still need time to digest
Rodeo set the bar really high for Travis, Birds just wasn’t close. Astroworld is amazing though.
When he doesn’t like sicko mode, but it’s the 7 best song of the year
Now he has it at #3 on his top songs video
Sicko Mode is a good song, but it doesn’t compare to other stuff on the album
sam watts sicko mode I️s the best on the album
He want clout for hating on drizzy lol
Every body in these comments only fully listened to to sicko mode and they listened to 5 seconds for every other song

LesbiansTasteLikeFeminists Yosemite my favorite
Quincy Branch Same, how tf does this man not like it
Yosemite is the worst song.
astrothunder the worst song on the album and if you groupin coffee bean in the worst category you're actually fuckin high off your ass
Yosemite is so good, but Nav is horrible on this
I lived in Houston for close to 15 years, and the south my whole life - so I may be biased when I say I might have enjoyed this as much if not more than Rodeo.
Yes repping H town rip screw was crazy
Smh SPM wasn’t mentioned at all
There really was, I just feel the album was held back by Travis going for trendy bland trap beats at the end (song with 21 and migos)
I'm not from Houston but I feel like on Rodeo he was telling stories over crazy trap production, and here the production is honestly better but the lyrics don't really go anywhere for a few of his verses
CHill. Literally you don’t need to get all smart on us by writing a paragraph
The beat transition from drake to Travis at the beginning of SICKO MODE is nut worthy

I love when the features aren't named in the title. Cuz you just get hyped when a certain artist jumps on
J T when I heard frank ocean.. NUT
The way you explain the transitions and how they’re abrupt is almost exactly how one would describe a roller coaster, and I think that’s how Travis wanted most to feel when listening to this album
I feel as if in stargazing you enter astrowold then every song after that is a ride hence the reason why there are beat switches, simulating the going up on a rollercoaster then the fall after
Frankie Brocco exactly but not everyone has this level of thinking
I agree but people who hate cant seem to understand that
Matt Roscoe or they just have different taste and dont like the album. Why we act like people are idiots for not liking the same things we like.
Ah so that's why it falls off halfway through... Right, gotcha
Jausmy96 it’s why they dislike it. They don’t like it because of the switches but that’s what the album is supposed to represent, drops, calmness, change in a ride
5 % tint is a sample of dj screws greatest work he’s backtracking his roots because Travis is from Huston dj screw is a legend from Huston Astro world is a famous amusement park that got shut down in Huston tx Travis has a thing for them
Gio2 Trill what happened to Screw? It was a good track i might relisten to it again

FrostStar 365 rodeo is a 9.5-10
Actually this is art, masterpiece, this is more than rap, thats why they dont love the album
The lyrics were pretty trash imo. Almost nothing interesting on this album lyrically

No one cares about your opinion
Way too much way too fucking much
ioN Avea The album is 9,5 to me but Rodeo is 10/10

Let’s all remember that a lot of people hated rodeo at first, and took time for the dust to settle before it was considered as good as it is now. Just saying, you always have to give a Travis album time. It will definitely grow on you just like Rodeo did.
