Just bought a new truck and ordered an AZDOME dashcam and hardwire kit for it. Thank you for making such a detailed installation video! I'm sure I'll have to watch it multiple times during my feeble installation attempt, but I surely appreciate your painstaking illustration!
Great video. +107 thats just crazy. Living in Norther Alberta Canada and we were -53 just last week. Damn weather trying to kill us lol. I have never been at your end of the spectrum.
This was especially helpful to me in fining 'Battery" Fuses & "Accessory" Fuses for the Fuse Tap Adapter. I'm planning to hardwire my Garmin 57 Dashcam. I've "Subscribed" & rang the notification bell + I've "Save" it
Gracias excelente explicación, paso a paso, para dummies , en mi caso. Voy con el Hardwire-kit Azome JYX02 a intentarlo, si no toco con un profesional.
I watched so many vids about this.., sadly none have explained what strength we add to the fuse kit… the car fuse goes on bottom, but my fuse kit didn’t come with fuse in… do they have to match what the car fuse is??
I have a Lingdu LD06 dashcam, which is a front camera, and it connects to a rear camera using a splitter cable. If I connect the front camera directly to the car using the hardwire kit, how do I connect the rear camera?
Unfortunately, you will need a hardwire kit that has all the connections prebuilt in them. I don't think companies have made them yet. I ran into the same problem. I'm still trying to figure that out, also. Hopefully, someone will post their finding.
I get warning "Please connect the step-down line of three lines" when i tried to activated the 24h monitoring mode. Is it the hardwiring kit defects or the camera unit error? BAT+ cable connected to car battery, and ACC cable to empty acc slot. And the camera can not auto on/off when the car on/off.
Did you verify the empty slot is a switch fuse? When the car turns off the, there is no power going to that fuse. The hardwire needs the ACC connected to a switch fuse to turn on Parking Mode.
@@JDWIRED yes... I even try connecting BAT cable to the ACC slot and it is working fine when the car is on, and going off when car is off. I think the hardwiring kit especially the ACC cable is broken.
Why do you have two fuses in the fuse tap? There's a red one already there that came with the kit, and the blue one you removed to add to it. Why can't you just use the red it came with? Or why don't you replace the red with the blue?

Usually you only need a 5 amp fuse however I wouldn't go over a 10 amp fuse.
Cheers from OZ

Circuit tester
Question: is it okay to hard wire just the accessories and ground? I just don't want my battery to be drained.
Yes, that is fine.

Yes, I would request an exchange.
@@JDWIRED yeah thanks, i will contact the seller
@@idontthinkso2431 If NO continuity, then the wire is broken. If you have continuity, then the wire is OK.
Can I connect BAT to another ACC, or does it have to be BAT
You can connect the BAT to an ACC however you will not be able to take advantage of parking mode.

The red fuse is for the dash cam only. The blue fuse is to continue to power the devices that are attached to the fuse.
