Do we absolutely have to have an LLC before starting? Or can we book a few clients and make some money then get the LLC? Asking because I’m in a pinch right now and have some leads but not sure if I’ll be breaking the law or anything
Tyra that's awesome you got leads! Get it! 😀 I cannot speak to the laws in different areas. I'll just share my experience... I started as a Sole Prop just to get off the ground. This was fine bc I was a solo cleaner. But as I grew and especially as I hired subs I moved into an LLC. This provided me better protection, and gave me the structure I needed in my state to pay subs. But in general you do need to be registered in some way to legally accept payment, whether that's an LLC or Sole Prop. Sole Props are usually quicker to get tho. And I really do recommend you look for a good 'local' accountant tho. They can give you guidance in this area. And mine has saved me from making so many mistakes over the years. :-)
That's a very interesting and good question! My husband has a photo/video production company, and I help him with that business, and it's very weather dependent due to the type of work we do. So we are always saying that's our biggest complaint about that over our cleaning business. The cleaning biz is just so steady and predictable. You can basically set a schedule and very little will interfere with it. And that's true whether you're cleaning or hiring it out. The only caveat to that could be if you do exterior work, like window cleaning. Or of course if there is a blizzard or something, and you can't access the property. So no business is truly immune to weather issues, but the cleaning biz is SOOOOO much more winter proof than others. General cleaning/janitorial is largely unaffected by weather. :-)
Greetings, interested in the model of building a similar model business in my industry the same as this one. Has anyone every taken your course and was able to do that.
Do you share your cleaning business with the public? My business partner keeps saying you’re a snake oil salesman, and doesn’t believe you were successful in a cleaning business.
LOL... sorry they feel that way. :-) I do not share it with the mass public, but in my program I show actual sample contracts (with my clients info redacted) and I am soon adding to my program walkthroughs of some of the properties my business maintains. I just need to seek permission to film, and as you can imagine many clients just aren't going to be comfortable with that. But I am sincere when I say I don't have a website for my cleaning business, because I simply don't need one. That said I am contemplating creating one just so I can test different paid advertising methods and then share the results either in my program or here on TH-cam. I also do not use my full legal name here on TH-cam for my own protection. But I am 100% legit. If you're interested in my program then email us at support@theprofessionalcleaner.net and maybe we can hop on a call and chat more. Pretty soon my program is going to application only, and a call will be required to gain access... much like other cleaning business programs. :-)
I want to get your course but I have couple of questions. I wrote from website but not any respond yet. can you please share your e-mail address? thanks a lot

Hello... yes I have MANY very successful students. Building 5-6 figure businesses in 6-8 weeks, as long as you're willing to put in the work. :-)
