Man I wish there were more people that talked about these motors and worked on them around my area. I always find myself surfing some message boards from 2004 and it leads me nowhere. My carbs have only given me real trouble once but it’s had some hiccups along the way to I get them cleaned when I service it once a year. These motors love to run though that’s for sure!
@@winterproductionsnw Try adjusting the idle on the carbs. It may be the TPS, or something could be gummed up in your carbs. Mine used to shut off putting out decoys and I had to clean the jets on the carbs so I didn’t ruin my gears trying to keep it revved up going out of gear. I believe the bottom carb is usually the culprit, however I’m still learning about DT’s one step at a time.
Classic dt25 carbs haha. I have the exact same motor and they require a good cleaning every year or so...
i got one broke down won't hold a ideal had it few months hardly run it at all. do you have trouble ideal on going slow in like the timber if you hunt
Seriously? I’ve had my DT for 20 years never had to clean the carbs or change plugs, it screams !
