3:00 The feline embodiment of the excitement we all remember having for Masters of the Universe suddenly becomes manifest in Dan’s lap. And I must say, I wholeheartedly applaud Dan’s adamantium strength focus on reciting his script.
Production value must be on the rise, very realistic and lifelike CGI cat. Way better than Captain Marvel. Good to see the Patreon money being put to good use.
These are very cool. never had them. Italy got some interesting late releases from MOTU line. Really great video. Your content continues to be top notch! Great work Dan & co. Much appreciated. Thanks for posting guys.
The one released comic book on Preternia with He-Man with “to be continued” in it ... my eight year old self is still waiting three decades later for the sequel.
First heard of the Tytus and Megator figures watching Toy Hunter- thanks to you for filling in the blanks on their history. You should do an Oddities on the Lazer Light figures.... Any chance you could do a video with Jordan Hembrough in the future..... ? Sorry, I keep getting distracted by the cuteness.
Wow, a lot of comments already. The addition of Lupin might be your most cunning plan yet! Also. I love that the eventual failure of MOTU led to some wonderfully (more) bizarre stuff at the end. Also, also... YOU MONSTER PET THAT CAT! 😅😍
Good God I want to hug whoever made the decision to keep the cat footage in the final edit of the episode! I had to go back & watch it a half dozen times.
When I was a young warthog, I used to strap my battlecat saddle on a brand new kitten named Garfield we got for Easter. Helmet didn't fit. He would generally shake the armor before could get anyone in the saddle and it wasn't exactly symmetrical anyway.
Am I alone in thinking those updated Masters of the Universe figures look awesome? How did I not know about these?!?! Anyway, great video as always, and the kitty cat was amusing as can be.
Mattel actually had a prototype for a 4th dinosaur, too. It was going to be a Brontosaurus that would act as a battlefield command center. The toy designer said it was going to be about 3 feet long and called Gigantisaur.
@@thefonzkissNo it isn't in the video at all, hence why i asked. "GOON". Clearly you don't know what you're talking about when it comes to the dinosaur in question. Get back in your box and STFU. There's a good boy.
I knew I'd be in for a treat with SIXTEEN INCH figures, but even with the thumbnail I was not convinced that kitten was gonna be real! (oh, and the SIXTEEN INCH figures are pretty cool too I guess)
Well you guys kept ur cool . Told the history of thes rare MOTU gems and made it all the way to the end , and prevented what could have been a CATastrophe . Great episode keep it up . P.S. What's the kittys name ??
Awesome vid! I was wondering if you were going to cover these two. You should probably skip covering the new adventures of He-Man, though... It's for the best if we all forget.
This is so funny you focused this episode on He-man and the masters of the universe. I just got my super 7 animated He-man figure today. Are you spying me through my winow?
Though he-ro was conceived as "Lord Grayskull" as early as 1985, the charecter of "King Grayskull" was an invention for the 2002 cartoon. The Power Sword renamed "sword of he" was a retcon for the 2010's MOTU Classics line of direct to consumer subscription toyline. We don't know exactly how the sword came about in the original 1982-1987 MOTU line or how that could have been told in the 1987Powers of Grayskull subline.
Me: Oh, I've never heard of these toys. This is interesting, as I had almost all of the MOTU line growing up. Also Me : KITTYKITTYKITTYKITTYKITTYKITTYKITTY!
My parents got me castle grauskull and 5 figures for Christmas before I ever saw the cartoon! I still have my He-man collection today. I think they should have did something like The adventures of Tela to make the He-man series fresh again.
2:43 These are the ads on Topolino, the Italian Mickey Mouse magazine. It was THE place to advertise any toyline in the '80s and '90s. The dialogue there is... Cheesy, to say the least. Want me to translate? (At your own risk)
@@SecretGalaxyTV : On the "Topolino" magazine and other magazines for kids, MotU was almost always advertised with these splash-page comics. I'm not sure if they did so anywere else outside Italy, but if you need translations from Italian for some episode, I'd be happy to help! Anyway, this one reads: CAPTION: In the magnificant world of Preternia, two real giants live: the peaceful Tytus, armed with his deadly cranial trap, and the evil Megator... MEGATOR: You didn't expect a foe of your size, eh? Drop that trap, Tytus... [more literally, he says "at your height", it's a lame pun] TYTUS: Megator, if you care about your little friend, go play ball somewhere else! LOWER CAPTION: Exceptional! Tytus and Megator are more than twice bigger than a usual Master!
I had to watch this video twice! The first time just staring at the kitty. The second time watching everything whilst fighting the urge to once again stare at the kitty. I failed a bit here and there.
Nothing like having your own Battlecat appear when you're talking about He-Man! :)

I came for the story on obscure action figures.
I stayed for the kitten
Tytus & Megator: Masters of The Universe Ultra Rare Giants... and Thunder Kitten!!
Alright! Finally we get to cover 2 of the most obscure and forgotten pieces in all of the masters of the universe series and.... AWWWW KITTY!
Like me, like everyone... the cat can't stop watching your hands.
The definition of a professional in action. Also, Dan Larson.
To be honest, I quit paying attention to anything you said after your kitty cat came into the picture.
THE POWER OF THE KITTY COMPELS YOU!!!!!!! :-) :-) :-)
me too (: Although great addition
Is that cat listed in the credits?
Same, I had to scroll back as I realized I was no longer listening lol
Awesome video! Your "Thunder Kitten" is precious 😊
Gotta love how the kitten is trying to follow Dan's many hand motions.
Ah, Dan's kitty, the rarely seen "Optimus Feline", who transforms from hungry to sleeping, and back again.
Dan, I'm sure you had alot of good things to say.. but I couldn't hear you over the lil BattleCat on your lap..
You can tell Dan is a pro as he continues despite the clear distraction taking place.
I had no idea about this!
Great video!!
I think oddities is my favorite part of your channel!!!
Production value must be on the rise, very realistic and lifelike CGI cat. Way better than Captain Marvel. Good to see the Patreon money being put to good use.
And the cat special effects were amazing...
Actually the cats real, Dan's the CG model.

And this, “Meow Galaxy” is the next evolution of this channel.
Stupid cat!!😍 I had to watch this twice . The cuteness is killing me. Best co host EVER!!!!
I really like oddoties. Could you please do one on transformers machine wars.

Very interesting. Since the MOTUC releases of these characters I had been wonderi--CAT!
Rare Masters of the Universe figures and a cute kitty this is TH-cam gold .
From this point on: cat cameos are now mandatory...

Another top shelf dive into my childhood! Thank you. I vote you should do a run through of the collection behind you !!
We refresh it and shoot a video on it every once in a while. Search for "toy galaxy wall" and you should see multiple videos.

man, thats a wierd lookin dog but he sure is cute
Future feature suggestion: the Trendmasters Godzilla toys from the 90’s. I’d be happy to help with that one!
Wow, and here I thought that I'd seen everything out of classic MotU. Great episode guys!
So would one say the classics releases *Might be Giants* 😎. Oh and cute KITTY!!
I like the Classics renditions of them especially Megator! Also what a cute little guy! He sould be part of your videos now!
Am I alone in thinking those updated Masters of the Universe figures look awesome? How did I not know about these?!?! Anyway, great video as always, and the kitty cat was amusing as can be.
Massive cool points for the kitten!! I always find this channel interesting just for the nostalgia trip and knowledge.
Ok so I love the Oddities editions so much!!! I learn so much! Thanks guys!👍😁
Watching a new Toy Galaxy video during the Boston Pops John Williams film night intermission...priceless.
A great video, with awesome information rarely seen. Dan was also talking about He-Man I think.
Love the subject matter, but your channel is made even more wonderful by the brilliant writing. Pri-Earth indeed.
I love this channel, such a great source of info for US toys, which were popular in the UK
+10 to video for kitty and I love that vintage Tytus looks just like John Cena.
Dan got upstaged by a cat.
Whoa. Didn't stop for that kitty. Dan is the real MOU :D
Cute co-star!
Best oddities episode ever!!
Using the old, "Cats make everything better" technique applied in the Captain Marvel movie, I see. lol.
I see what you did there Producer Greg...Just as Dan says "as sales decline" the 'help our channel grow' tag pops up @1:07 sly move 😌
Now that's commitment, Dan didnt even skip a beat when thunder kitten showed up lol
Dan Larson:*makes video about really rare He-man action figures*
Toy Galaxy fanbase:*pays more attention to a kitten*
Kitten raised Toy Galaxy's cuteness up 90% (watch out Dan, TG might have a new host!) Oh yeah o had a he-man T-Rex and by me I mean my brother lol!
2:59 what kind of toy is that?
Mattel actually had a prototype for a 4th dinosaur, too. It was going to be a Brontosaurus that would act as a battlefield command center. The toy designer said it was going to be about 3 feet long and called Gigantisaur.
OMG I'm dying, what an adorable cat, made my day
What about the holy grail of masters toy line. That huge long necked dinosaur that had laser cannons in its chest?
Got any info on that huge beast?
Jim Bo It’s in the video goon. 2:10

The kitten is enjoying your review of these "action dollies"!

I thought the kitty was a graphic at first.
Great concentration and professionalism, I have new respect.
Ahhh ive never commented before but a kitten cozying up to you has prompted this...

this man has an insane amount of self control
Kitten: I heard you were going to discuss Battle Cat and Panthor. No? How disappointing. I'll wait until you mention.
One thumbs up for a great video and six hearts for the cute kitty!
love it when little kitty comes in
NOTHING can derail a Toy Galaxy video... NOTHING!!

The Toy Galaxy extended universe. Next week, a ferret!
This is so funny you focused this episode on He-man and the masters of the universe. I just got my super 7 animated He-man figure today. Are you spying me through my winow?
I remember these 2 figures displayed in stores. They often remained unsold...
By the power of Floofskull!
3:00 Hello little Mate!
You can tell kitteh is used to being in the lap during an active discussion about toys! 🤣😹😻
Such a chilled out cat and errr great video too guys!! 😅

Oddities are the best.
Toy Galaxy production meeting: We should add a kitten. Everyone loves kittens.
The Oddities intro reminds me of a Netflix program called "Stranger Things". Good show. I recommend you checking it out
leyenda61 Yeah that’s the point of it dude, it’s an obvious homage.
The kitty kat made this my favorite video. Almost forgot what was the topic lol
ADORABLE 😍 and the kitten is cute too
Just when you thought that you saw all the original he-man toys boom new old figs...amazing
Has Toy Galaxy jumped the shark? Introducing a cute cat into their videos is definitely a cousin Oliver moment......
The only true villian in this video is Dan for not picking up that cat for petting sooner.
Is that theme song taken from 'big trouble in little china'?
Do you have your very own Battlecat or am I seeing things 😂
The random cat appearance just added to the epicness of this video.
My parents got me castle grauskull and 5 figures for Christmas before I ever saw the cartoon! I still have my He-man collection today. I think they should have did something like The adventures of Tela to make the He-man series fresh again.
Had to rewind that section when Lupin appeared, good for cat fans, good for viewer retention :p
Adorable kitten. 11/10. Would watch again.
Then who's Procrustus, hes a 4 armed rock dude from the motu classics line?
Cat made me so happy!
The CGI cat looks even better than the CGI Dan. Hope to see more!
LOVE YOUR KITTEN!!!
Pop culture nostalgia video suddenly becomes cat video and I’m here for it.🐈

Had to re-watch
Hey cutie pie!
I remember shortly having Tyrantisaurus Rex but, I had to return it, broke in a couple days! What a rare and valuable piece of crap.
Random Stealth Cat!!!! You keep being awesome.
AMAZING!!! He resisted the furry cuteness of the love entity manifested in his lap! M O A R K I T T Y C U T E N E S S ! ! ! !
It may be to early to say, but I think that kitten has it out for your job Dan.
OMG! I love your kitten!
Awww ickle kitten! Surely a ratings winner.
