Changed Cross member on Hyundai Tucson 2007 and I have a problem when changing the gear box speed there is a noise like something hitting the car from the insight you fill a nock at the back of the car ? Can you tell me what is your opinion ?
Have you run into any issues after replacing the subframe? Or what kind of long-term issues you can encounter after doing this procedure? They're doing the same thing to my Genesis G80 since some idiot ran me off the road and caused me to hit the concrete around a storm sewer while going 40mph.
so is there an alignment with these cars sub frame that needs to be done? i ask because i had no problems with it, had a rear main seal and rack and pinion done, then when i got it back and took it for an alignment, they told me the control arm was misaligned and they could not get it to go straight. Sub frame issue? or could the control arm really be the problem?
I had an alignment done after this job. Not sure why the lower control arm is misaligned. On this '06 the lower control arm is attached to the subframe at fixed points. Logically, this would mean the sub frame has issues. (As long as the vehicle was not involved in an accident.) Maybe check with another shop.

Honestly i feel it might have been damaged during installation. the only thing i see wrong with the control arm is the forward bushing is ripped. I dont know how bad it is but it did look ripped. I will have it replaced and hope that is the only problem
Hey my 2007 tl the front driver side wheel is slightly displace to back, I more close to fender that the passenger side,now,how can I fix it? Can I loose all 4 bolts and try to get back in place,maybe bushing problems, need to help please!! Thanks
If you're lucky, it sounds like the lower control arm. Quite easy to replace. I plan on uploading a video soon showing how to on the Acura (along with lower ball joint replacement). I do have a video showing how to replace on a Subaru. It's similar. I need to see my car under a lift again but I BELIEVE that around the area where he installs the very first 4 subframe bolts (0:27) I have some type of leak and I remember a mechanic telling me that I should look into getting that fixed or else im gonna feel it while making turns 🤔 hope that is enough info to give you an idea of what I’m talking about

Hi, I get crack driver side around box where motor mount rest, I want to weld the piece or IS better chance the frame ??.

Were you able to get the new subframe from a salvage yard? If so how much did it cost?

It's the black line toward the back of the frame it shows in both parts but not how to remove or install it back

Was the shift linkage a problem when removing the frame
No issue. If I recall, it's one fastener.

How much would a repair like this cost I have a similar problem with my 2008 acura tl when it went over the curb
Local shop quoted the previous owner $4k using used parts.

How did you get it to line up
It was pretty easy. Very slowly used the floor jack to line up with the front and rear mounts, check the steering rack and transmission mounts.
