This video features a KHI C151, 021/022, which is from UPD to serve NSL for the whole day, from NS7 Kranji to NS9 Woodlands.
021/022 would first return back into UPD when it was selected from TWD to do EWL PM Peak Run 358 on 7/5/2024. Run 358 is scheduled to return the train back into UPD late at night also. Instead of running away/failing to get into UPD unlike the last few attempts, 021/022 made it onto the tracks of NSL on this attempt!
021/022 was also 1 of the 2 non-KSFs to make it into NSL from EWL, the other being 131/132.
Also a good choice by the dispatcher to throw 021/022 to NSL and make it serve NSL at least once in 2024. Seems that the remainder of the KHI stuck on EWL for at least 1 year are slowly coming over to run on NSL.
Welcome back onto the tracks of NSL after spending almost 6 months on EWL. 021/022 would also make its 1st ever NSL serve for the year 2024. Note that the Tunnel Lights were activated between the Kranji and Marsiling Tunnels.
Strong Motor can be heard on car 1022 A4/B4. Since 021F was leading, strong deceleration can be heard.
