How To Fix Scratched DVD

This is the method I use to fix scratched DVDs and CDs. I use either car wax such as Zymol or Meguiar's PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish. If simply polishing the surface of the disc doesn't work, I pull out my SkipDr Premiere. Unless the DVD or CD is very severely damaged, one or the other of these methods will usually work. This will work for game discs also.

I rarely have to use the Skip Dr. Usually just cleaing/polishing the disc by hand works. Only $120? I could just go buy a new DVD/CD to replace the damaged one, and still be ahead...

If you had 50+ deeply scratched DVDs it could work out. lol

Try benzoyl peroxide ( acne cream) rub it in until it evaporates then run the cd under the tap clean it off with a towel.. the game will be as good as gold.. I was trying random medicated ointments on my sonic adventures 2 game amd sure enough I was able to recover all my broken down games

I recommend you get a JFJ Easy Pro Plus machine to repair really deep scratches it's only like $120 and it makes the Disc look completely brand new! I have one and it's way better then any of the SkipDr's products or these method's of repairing Discs.
