Due to a health scare in 2017, we decided to start enjoying life more outside our business. We bought a Lodge on the east coast of England and started vlogging our daily adventures

Leigh you have the patience of a saint! Next time, get Nick to write down the rules of the game, because it seemed like he was making them up as he went along.
rules are simple it's either guessed correct or not 😂😎
I think Leigh did really well. Nick seems to change the rules as he goes along. If by giving clues defaults then no point giving them to him. Leigh you should do this for Nick and see how many he gets, easy for someone who has all the answers

Griffith Observatory is where scenes from La La Land were filmed, along with other films. Also the tunnel you showed was in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

I got absolutely zero of the locations, but then I’m no good at that kind of thing anyway. It was fun seeing you traveling all around Los Angeles. I’ve only been there once, and it was in 1990, so that’s quite a while ago.

I love the guessing game on all the locations but hubby and I were rubbish 🙈 we only got one right and that was ' Grease Rydell High'... Yes Leigh I think you deserved the point for the horror movie house guess but Nick makes me laugh when he has a wee giggle to himself so it's half a point each from me.

Those roads through downtown Miami have me the fear after trying to drive around Miami a couple of weeks back 😂 missed cut offs left right and centre by having to cross those lanes 😅
The Witches House, it has marbles in the windows and it looks amazing when the sunshines in.

In n Out Burger - the best!!!! IMHO of course. No heat lamps - everything chopped & cooked on order. Someone already said about “off menu”. I normally have “protein style” - that means no bun and instead the burger is wrapped in iceberg lettuce. Too late now but supermarkets will have the white polystyrene coolers stacked on top of the freezers.
Loved the guessing locations, a few I got wrong due to not watching Buffy

The last apartments from buffy was also the apartments from an old TV series called Melrose place.

Leigh, I just saw the argument at the Nightmare on Elm Street house. I agree. Half a point for Leigh, half a point for Nick. Nick should have spelled out the rules before the game. He keeps changing them.

Great vlog - Love your tour videos & guessing along with you .....neva was a fan of Buffy so those 2 were lost on me however! 🤦🏼♀️.....I found an article on the 'LA Mag' website which is an interesting read from the current owner of 'The Witches House'/Spadena House - gives history, how he came to purchase & re-model - has photos of inside too.....he lives there himself & is a real estate agent.

Hi Guys, In this video of your trip to LA, you visited the witches house, or habit house and was wondering what the inside looked like. Well if you do a search on TH-cam for CBS Sunday Morning and look for today's show (10.30,2022) you will see the inside. The show visited the house and explained the house and showed it off, Hope you can find it,. Also love the videos, keep up the good work,

Apart from the Buffy ones, got them all. Although I can’t believe you missed the Sedgwick Hotel (Biltmore Hotel) out from Ghostbusters, you were pointing the camera straight at it, the scene after you visited the firehouse x

There are actually many movies that have been shot at the site by the Korean Bell. The most famous would actually be the basketball scene in the movie White Men Can't Jump.
I got Rydell High straight away, my Mum took me and my sister to see the film at the cinema when it first came out in 1978, I was 11 at the time. It was the first grown up film I saw with an A certificate (today’s 12) because of the swear words 😂 I still have the double album that I saved up my Birthday Money to buy in Woolworths.

The pagoda at the start was seen in The Usual Suspects. When I saw it in the video I was sure that was going to be it. Instead it was _behind_ that location!!! Trolling us lol!

The tunnel in Griffith park was also the tunnel for the Bat bike in Batman (Adam west)

I got Rydale high straight away. First two, not a clue. I got the thriller house straight away as well. Two to me👍👍🤣
Jeez, I got the Thriller one straight away. Talk about trying to get blood from a stone 😂 You should have gone downtown to the Disney Concert Hall at Bunker Hill. My ex had an apartment on the block adjacent to the hall, he overlooked it. They filmed loads in that area, Green Hornet, Iron Man, Star Trek Into Darkness, Captain America Civil War, Amazing Spider-Man to name a few. There’s a very iconic road, S Grand Avenue that you’d recognise from a lot of movies. I was there in 2011 when they were filming a car chase sequence for Amazing Spider-Man in the early hours of the morning. The street was lit up like daylight so I went down at 2am for a nosey. Fascinating to watch but also boring because they filmed the same sequence over and over again, resetting, rolling camera, resetting etc etc. The train station downtown has also been used in loads of films & pop videos.

At In and Out you can ask for a burger without the meat. It’s really good that way .Did it all the time at lunch ha ha
The Ghostbusters fire station is in a very infamous part of LA known as Skid Row, renowned for it's large homeless community. It's quite well known in itself to be honest, but yes not the safest of areas of wander around in, especially at night. People often comment how it's so close to more affluent city centre areas so people can find themselves there by accident too if they don't know the area! Vegas is quite similar, as soon as you leave the strip to go downtown it becomes very rough.
Carroll Ave , is the Thriller house, I only knew as my brother been there, I was going to say he mention the charmed house was few doors down, but as he never watched it he didn't bother with it
I guessed the Observatory Tunnel as being in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? ...... Aswell as Back to the Future - ive never watched that though 😯🤦♀️
