Reason why I subscribed your channel You're so Humble & your videos are very Informative. I've added a few items to my shop list seeing your videos & I'm learning a lot from you to maintain my Himalayan as yours. Keep up the good work buddy 👍🏾
Installed a Booster Plug, NGK Spark Plug Upgrade Kit, Red Rooster Exhaust and the DNA Air Filter w/Cover a few days ago. Bike was running very well, but also too Lean: Noticable increase in heat coming from the engine, and Popping on Decel. Decided to remove the Cover and swap back for the Stock, but kept the DNA in. Ran for 15 minutes then shut off, went for a ride the next morning, and the bike didn't feel great, on top of the stalling to get it started. Put the Stock Filter back in, and it's running great. Maybe I needed to do that before restarting with the DNA? Bought my Himalayan 2nd hand with 70 miles on it, came with a K&N. Think I'll try it out now. Funny hearing you talk about 500 Subs 3 or so years ago, sitting at 17.7K now. Well earned Ben, thanks for everything Sir 🔥🤘🔥
Hi Ben. I own a Himalayan and have clocked somewhere around 26k km in the last one year. I have been watching all your videos and it has really helped in understanding some subjects... I have one query regarding the brake. I understand you have EBC brakepads on. Can you let me know if it has improved the overall feedback you get on the lever?
Augustine Paul the lever feedback is def 20-30 % better and the bike stopping power I’m proves by again 20-30 % . Have tested the braking with many stock Himalayan’s and I come to a stop faster every single time
Sir, Is it alright if we install only K&N in place of stock one and put the rest of the bike as it is. Will this harm the system??? ( and any modification for that matter )
Aditya Malgaonkar JUST k&n and free flow exhaust will reduce peak BHP . Also you will spoil your machine with an extremely LEAN AFR . Kindly include a piggyback system to enrich the mixture .
@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN are there ways to enrich the mixture without piggyback system ? Also has anyone actually done a dynotest post modifications ? My understanding is that the expense is worth it for superbikes(650 cc +) where the stock settings are purposefully underpowered to comply with emission norms .. but is it worth it for the Himalayan. won't really want consider it unless there are figures to prove it .. although I understand that even addition of 2-3 bhp might improve its feel. ..but perhaps 6-8 would be worth it.
HI Ben..off late i've seen most of your videos and must say its really informative and yeah Gives a boost/Confidence on DIY. Ben i request you to kindly help me get a video on adjusting Carburetor with proper air fuel mix tricks/formula..I have a BS3 Himalayan n i m facing issues with ths from day one ..cant figure out how to go bout it ..Misfire is the second most irritating issue i have,,please if u have time kindly help me out. Regards
hi friend. kindly remove spark plug and clean it thoroughly . adjust the gap to .8 mm and ride for about 30-50 kms in varying speeds. pull the plug out once the engine is cold and send me the pic on my whatsapp no 9962693431. i shall be able to help with then.
@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN Hi Ben, thanks for the reply ..last service i did change my spark plug couple of months back ..but nothing changed..still ruining the same way..though will share the pic of same .
Greetings Ben. I have two questions. One, will replacing the stock RE air filter with K&N void the warranty? Two, is it advisable to just change to K&N without any other performance enhancing modifications? Thanks.
No worries with warranty but then again it is a subjective matter , just like anything else where idiots are involved. If you like in colder regions , go for it . Hotter = Don’t

Hello Ben ..great videos you have been putting for Himalayan owners..keep going ..what time do generally change this filter?
25-50000 kms depending on damage
Post the filter buy link as well Ben.

If you live in hotter climates pls avoid any high flow air filter . Or get a piggyback ecu along with it
Do you know what are the figures for increase in peak power and torque with knN filter and high/free flow exhaust ?
Aditya Malgaonkar JUST k&n and free flow exhaust will reduce peak BHP . Also you will spoil your machine with an extremely LEAN AFR . Kindly include a piggyback system to enrich the mixture .

@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN I live in Chandigarh so very hot in summers and very cold in winters. Thank you for your ever prudent guidance 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Is your bike Carburetor or Fuel injection? I am assuming Fuel Injection.
Shawn Moore yes it is FI
Brw Any mileage shortage??
NO.
Do you mind of sharing the price dude ?
🔥
Bro tell difference jn braking between ECB and stock
Aman Pro the braking distance reduces by 20-30 % with EBC . The lever feedback also improves
Bhai himalyan reliable hai kya
,i am asking this after watching himalyan chassis broke videos
What are your thoughts on this?
dont jump with the bike .it is not a dirt bike. otherwise it is a 100% reliable motorcycle .
It's a bike that can take a beating but definitely not the kind to be trashed around.
