you should use the shorts as teasers for your long videos. use them to drive up the subs and views on the main channel. thats mainly what they are good for.
Merry Christmas 🎄 to you all. Have really enjoyed getting to know you all and your Operation over the past year. Can't wait for the new year's content.
Went past your farm tonight and the tractor looked great! My wife talked about it several times on the way home. I thought there were more lights around your grandfather's home than what you showed when you put them up! Shelley city park looked nice as well!
When those spuds go to a chipper or fry plant, that's where my raw material is made. I was VP of Operations/Engineering for Penford Food Ingredients from 1999-2015 when I retired. We put equipment in chipper/fry plants to recover potato starch that was released when the potatoes are sliced or cut. We would recover over 150M pounds/year of starch from the processors to make food grade starches and starches for the paper industry. Depending on the cut, up to 1% of the raw spud weight ends up as starch in the cutting circuit. If a processor makes hash browns or tots, it can be almost 2%. So, I see about 600,000 lbs of potato starch in that 60M lbs of potatoes.
Thank you for making an additional channel for the short videos. Some channels get as many views on shorts as their longer videos, so I understand why they upload them. I don't watch many short videos myself.
sorry to say I had to byte my tung when the wife asked me why you where talking about going into a dark moist tunnel and finding someone else already in it when you where farmers lmao
Is the Potato market so slow that you just cannot sell them right away like they seem to do with corn or wheat? How does selling your potato work throughout the year? I live in Thailand and the rice farmers never store their rice. It goes straight to market. Why don't potatoes just go straight to market?
They are all sold but they just take them when they need them. We contract all they we grow before it’s planted. If we take them right to market you wouldn’t be able to get them year around.
Hello from Sweden merry christmas and happy new year and for a real question,, what is the name for the potato you grow,, they look real big and if it is possible to get the same sort in sweden, potato for food or starch??, I used to work in one of the potato starch factory in sweden,, but mashed potato is still a favorite...to eat.. hope for reply soon groving season is coming soon in march/april 😊
I definitely enjoy your videos specially being from Idaho it's fun to watch things going on close to home but I hate to say I lost a ton of respect when you said that most of your four-wheelers don't have brakes I was surprised that you don't put new light bulbs in your plenums when they go out what's up with that light bulbs are cheap and brakes save lives
I’m glad you enjoy the videos. One of the pipe movers is also a mechanic and he usually gets all the breaks working in the spring. And the lights in the plenum are bad because the socket is bad and we have to have the electrician come switch it out.

Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU for not posting shorts on this channel. Mercy. I love how you says LOVE YA at the end of your videos❤
I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel. I do love my viewers. Wouldn’t be where I am without you all.

Yeah there is definitely a need for shorter videos
Merry Christmas to you and your family. Happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
Merry Christmas to you and your family too!
Thanks

Thanks for watching
Them potatoes are so big 🇳🇿👍
Yes they are.
The key to a good short is that it is original content. Rehashing what you have already released doesn't keep people's attention.
Very true
sorry to say I had to byte my tung when the wife asked me why you where talking about going into a dark moist tunnel and finding someone else already in it when you where farmers lmao
Oh dear

Grain crops are often stored in grain bins on the farm
What do you treat the potatoes with to inhibit sprouting?
I’m not sure what it’s called.
They need a lot of ventilation. How long you store them?
We can store them for up to a year.
What causes the tunnel ceiling to dip?
I’m not really sure.
Do you guys rent the cellars or own them?
We own 5 of them and rent the rest
Did you get the 9510 back yet
We did but the ground was frozen
Maybe you already did one but how about a video of the history and who everyone is on and behind the videos
We plan on doing one this winter.

Merry Christmas. These are russet rangers. I imagine you can get them there. These will go to make potato flake.
When do you start selling the potatoes?
They are supposed to start taking them in January
Do the potatoes at the bottom get crushed by the weight?
It seems like they would
