Definitely the best review on TH-cam or anywhere. But then I love it when a reviewer really gets in to the details. I’ve owned one for 3 years now and still have no desire to upgrade, downgrade or sidegrade. In short the only 2 things that some may not like is the seat and suspension. Both of which are a major part of why it’s so good. Fun describes this car best.
@@OsvUkVehicleSupply great review, made me buy one, in stock form it was a little tasmanian devil. Now with a Revo tune and ITG, its a raging bull. golf gti,s who noise me up are left very red faced in my rear view mirror, lol.
I owned one about 2 years ago & I had a lot of sporty cars before - but believe me: this one is fun all day & I will keep it, as long as I can. Way more direct & precise than the actual polo GTI - even in his "track mode". On the other hand: a FiST is nothing for softies. They will be lucky with their softend "GTI s". Keep on riding! 😁👍
May I ask what was the difference in the mk8 to 7 that made you decide to sell it? I was under the impression that the mk8 was a step up over the 7. Be interested to hear your thoughts.
@@carllatham1558 i just had a one out of a bad batch , my ST had to go in 6 times for things randomly breaking. Warranty wasn't the problem , but i was just sick of it. For example: - Broke a drive Shaft in the first 20 km's, second one 2 months later - my valve system in my exhaust started Flipping out so they had to replace the intere exhaust system behind the catback -the cilinder cut off system kept Flipping out on me. That i had to get it disabled , because when i was driving in normal mode, each time it cut off to 2 cilinders it wouldn't turn the 3th one back on. - and also all sorts of electronical issues. I'm now driving a MK5 ST. Runs like a dream
@@tomweyts don't sound like you had a good one at all. I currently own a mk7 and do think of upgrading to an 8. But your problems aren't the first time I've heard of hearing running problems. Maybe best to stick to the 7.
He is driving like my gran . How can he experience the car when he is driving so slow just quoting the website etc . I have a 360bhp stage 3 VUDU and it's one of the best chassis I have ever driven and I have raced for 20 years and owned alot of quick cars . If you want a proper nice drive buy one you won't regret it .
How on earth did this guy film a 2013 fiesta in the 90s?
By traveling at 88mph.
This is exactly what im thinking. Had me thinking the car looks Morden for it’s age
The best and the most comprehensive review in youtube. Trully enjoyed your analytical insight of the litle beast. Keep up the good job!

Love mine. Bought it last February with the mountune upgrade and can see myself keeping it for years to come
Excellent review, as usual, all couldn't be more true, this comes from a happy owner of 2 FiST's... :-)
Really enjoyed your review, thank you
We're glad you found it helpful!
ik saw 20+ reviews of the st , and i notice that the vaxhaul Corsa vxr is ignored when it comes tot second hand alternatives 😂
I like both but too many problems with vxr
@@m4ttlewis95 yep common fault on them is melted piston
