Loved mine for the nearly 3 years I ve owned it. Totally agree with the trim / quality issues but as you say, the money went on making it drive well. They come alive with a map and intake and otherwise are fun, cheap and reliable. Best car I’ve ever had.
Love mine ,ST2 in Molten orange , a real joy to own and even quicker than my last car,which was an E30 prefafelift BMW325i, 2.5 straight 6 , ST grips like a limpet on the bends , more raw than the new Mk8 1.5, 3 pot !! well chuffed with the 1.6 Mk7.5 ,well done Ford :-)
Cheers for the review , its a toss up between a ST or hyundai veloster turbo (very rare) or a FN2 type R, going for the smaller turbo engines though looks like a better option
As a one off review (i.e not a series like #markcup70) this is the best review I've watched. Congrats. Covered all the key points, even opened up the appeal of an St1 ! However I will still hold out for a 65 plate to get the revised suspension. Brilliant photo of the car at Stelvio. Did you shoot the video in the New Forest? Well done again and hope more practical ST content to follow. (P.s. not viewed your prev F1 channel before and stumbled on this vid by chance).

Are Fiesta sts fun no...........they're way more than that.......brilliant cars keep with anything on a road reliable cheap to maintain properly future classic
Great video mate, I'm actually considering buying one at the moment. What kind of mpg does it do on motorways (not a motor way car at all 😂) , would it be around the 40 mark?
It's great on the motorway! Worked wonders for my bank balance when driving through France! As an average I'm able to get 35mpg and that's mainly town and B-road driving so motorways will be much better. I think it's safe to say 40 mpg will be easily doable.
Hi sorry about the dumb question where does the 180 fit into the evolution of the fiesta as say mk7 and mk7.5 I just don't know what or how to tell a 180 from the rest thanks

Ive driven 2014 ST-2 today. Software and airintake were done (215 hp). Maaan... im gonna buy it in 2 weeks.

The 180 is the mk7.5, it's just a facelift mk7 as they didn't make an official ST pre-facelift.
Also is the car loud because it seems to be quite loud in low driving in the vid
