I have a question if you can help me out. I have a 2011 Toyota Sienna, the door opens automatically but will not shut automatically. I replaced the linkage assembly when the cable snapped. Now even with the new part in place it still will not close. Any ideas on what this could be? I greatly appreciate if you have a solution

Hi,
I just came across your channel, and found that you have really good experience, and I wonder if you can help me with my car.
I have Ford Fiesta that was struggling to start, and now it won't unless with a push.
I checked the battery and it is good, as when turning on the key, the light stays on on the dash board.
I was told that it is the starter motor that needs replacing or repairing.
But I can't find where is it located, can you please help?

You missed the most important spot which is where it latches closed.
hello sir, We have the same generation of sienna and my BUTTON on the ceiling for closing/opening the door is not working anymore. How is yours? and if its not working!!! How did you fix it?
Hi there is a warranty enhancement for that overhead console so you should be able to get that replaced under that. I had mine done last year.

I don’t know if they sell them at the dealer but when my previa door roller broke I went to the hardware store and bought nylon washers and that worked

have an issue with my Toyota estima door where it opens but stops and goes back when i try to close it - i am thinking it may be electrical - but i will try the greasing - hope it helps - thanks

yea just dont spray the top roller bearing. now mine makes allot of noise. any fix?

Lubricate the roller axle, not the guide/channel.
It's a common misconception to lubricate the guides/channels. Your door may move like new at the moment you lubricate the guide. But overtime the rollers will slide instead of roll. This creates flat spots on your rollers making it even more difficult for the rollers to spin.
I second this! Squealing was nuts.. 🤦🏻♂️
White lithium spray grease is the worst thing to use! It turns into white glue over time :/

I am planning to buy 2011 sienna, it has 110 k miles.
I like to replace the transmission oil and filter !
Any suggestion or advice, please.
Currently I have 2004 camery 2.4 L. It has 253k miles. I brought in 2011 when it has 62k miles.
Last year I had replaced all 4 shocks( full assembly), transmission oil and filter, & all liquids flush.
Few days ago on 11-11-19 I had replace all 4 breaks, transmission oil ,
catalytic converter , O2 sensor , thermostat sensor, temperate sensor.
VALVOLINE high miles OIL 10w-40. & spark plugs.
After that cars is flying. It soo light.
But only thing is It don't have pickup like other cars. I have all documents since I bought the car, No accident till now
I have an 2011 with over 380000 Miles and had never change the transmission fluid, still Original spark plugs from day one.

You should buy wd-40 that has flexible strew
WD 40 is good for freeing things up - but is not a lubricant.
