This is a great review on the Poikilo/Carmen. I didn't get much time, only two Sundays in the Church pants pocket before sending it off to you. The Carmen blades were first released at BSW in October 2024. They only had three at the show and they were all sold to Utah collectors. Dirk, I really enjoyed seeing all the opening methods that you showed. Personally I love the milled lines and not having any exposed screws. That blade is wicked sharp and surprised that you didn't cut yourself when the blade dropped slightly on your finger. About the Pocket clip- I find that in general, once you set a reversible clip, it stays in that position. You're not switching it back and forth, unless you're really OCD. What I love is that I it has a center position on the clip because is just sits nicer in that slant cut on dress pants. Center position is a useful option for me. (The CRKT/Ken Onion Swindle knife was my first knife with this option I like how Mundus/Poikilo made this clip changing, without screws. I found it interesting that you showed unscrewing that barrel part when making the clip change. I didn't do that step. I just pulled the end out far enough to clear the clip and then just wiggle the clip free. Either way, you made the process look smooth. In a "fidgety" way, it's fun to do. When I first spied that brass "bullet" part, I was wishing secretly that it was something you could fire/launch. Ahhh, I guess that was just the 12 yr old kid in me! I am excited to get it back and try out another knife deployment method I saw online. Holding the knife, you strike that large gimped radius on your pant legs and it fires open the blade. Thanks for taking the time to review this cool new knife on your channel.
I like the blade shape…but I could see that cartridge thing getting lost😂…really cool looking knife…cool design on the pocket clip…I like the idea of changing the position of the clip…but after seeing you change it…I’m not so sure…😂 great review! I like what the company is doing
I'm really digging what this company is doing. Really out of the box thinking with great attention to detail and design. Very cool!
@@badmunkyedc1 I agree. But stat tuned they have some ‘normal’ designed also I’ll be filming soon 😉

@@robfahnestock6930 all the thanks goes to you for trusting me to handle it and chaperone it during its visit here.
Opened the handle looks a bit like one of those TRON-racers 🤔

@@gurgurpalmann2047 lol I get it.
I just can’t comprehend a center pocket clip carry but hey, whatever works for someone
@@Themattymar same here 🤷🏼♂️
that thing is atrocious but the one they call The Tuna is stunning...
