Dirk, that was a great review and a in-depth breakdown of the AL-Khem knife. It was a very popular knife at BladeShow West, last month. Gavin Hawk the guru of cool engineered knife operating designs, spent some quality time looking over he examining the AL-Khem as well as their Carmen model. I visited with Gavin and he really enjoyed the engineering that went into these knives. Looking forward to your review on the Carmen. Also, it's doesn't surprise me that you spent 3hrs at lunch with Andy. He's so approachable and genuine. I enjoyed talking with him several times at the the show. He even went out of his way to help me out at another knife show (CCKS) that I couldn't attend. I was also able to buy the Orca knife that won two awards at BSWest. Thanks again for your 1st review of Poikilo Blades.
It looks like a giant fidget toy. I was looking forward to this for a longer time since I first saw concepts of it in the internet. Maybe a year or something. I thought this might cost at least 500-600 but its cool enought. But its more like 2-3000. So thats a lot over my comfort zone. And the availability in my country is also not easy. But cool things👍
@@DirkWerning I mean thats still over my comfort zone but a piece like this maybe also should be in full dress with some sort of golden angel and crusader engravings and then it would maybe be like 5k😂. But I love such things beeing produced. Its almost like watching a new cinema movie when I see such a new thing coming out
Looks like something used in a movie. But let’s be real, it looks maybe cool but in reality its useless. It does not cut, and in the open position it can’t really stab.
Clever design but I wouldn’t spend that much money on a Chinese knife. For those prices you can buy from the greats here in the good old USA. Even 12 year old me can see these are ridiculous 😂😂😂
@@figarofigaro3429 agreed but practical but it’s COOL and FUN. They have other models that I’ll be showing. One model took home two awards from BSW this year.
Wow a $2000 gas station knife 😂😂❤ really a great video. Keep up the great work 💪
@@PeterIshman thanks

I'm going to pop some popcorn and sit down for this review!
The acoustics came across loud and clear.. Damn that's phenomenal...❤
@@brian041270 awesome.
That ringing sound was hella cool…I would love to compare that ring to the Winterblade co factor ring…(how about a video on knives that ring😂)…
@@gurgurpalmann2047 hmmm not a bad idea.
To quote Arte Johnson, "Very interesting... but stupid". It's Warhammer cool. It's D'Argo's Luxan Qualta Blade from Farscape.
Those are awesome! Great video 👍
These are totally sweet. Awesome vid

@ well they have made a 5k one before. Full timascus scales and damasteel blade if I recall
For the 5k version you can also summon a megazord with it.
@@HarryBallsich hahaha
I've been wanting to see this knife review..
Thank you..👊
@@brian041270 I know I should have got it up soon 🤷🏼♂️
it looks so cool!
I know of one other knife that has a tuning fork on the inside that gives the knife a ringing sound its the lemifshe forest elf 03.
@@SteelAddicted not familiar with that one.
Interesting exercise in pushing the envelope. Cheers!
Absolutely amazing .......!!!!!!
Conventional? No.
Still cool as hell? Yessss.
I was thinking maybe 500 dollars but those prices are crazy
I'm sure you'll have to pay them in Spice. Spice extends life 🤩
When will these be available?
@@cpm_edc they are available now. Hit them up on IG.

Only sharp on 1 side, and it's not sharp too..... kinda gimmicky. And that price! Hard pass
@@HailPatrick I totally get that opinion.
Unfortunately, that looks like a very heavy boat anchor
Completely ridiculous and unnecessary, but so cool and the sound is one of a kind. I love the transformesque nature of the blades.

And for that price you are NOT going to find something as inginuitive as tis in the US.
