All I can see is a Jonathan joestar esque looking man with the pillar man broken lines design punching through a barrier that shatters like glass with a all might smile on his face. While his fist collides with zeros face that his entire body recoils from in a freez frame effect scene
I still don’t get how in that Star Wars campaign, the party just stopped talking to the mechanic guy for 3 MONTHS IRL over this. It’s such a good twist, it clearly took a lot of effort for both the player and the GM to plan, and they kinda deserved what they got a little. Even if you really liked your character, how can you not at least appreciate the effort and genius of the mechanics schemes? Sounds like that Jedi arrogance might have been an unconscious projection of them IRL.
Exactly! If that had happened to me in a game, even though I’ve never played dmd but always kinda wanted to, I would be absolutely gobsmacked by the amount of creativity put behind it. Fr if they actually reacted as op described they should really take a look at their priorities and wonder why such a cool twist, not to mention in tabletop game, made them cut off a friend for the equivalent of an entire summer.
