    Great job! Can you do a parts link post? Interested in the rotating assembly and the rods/magnets

      Its a turntable (think lazy susan), the rods you can get from any hardware store (1/4 20 thread), same 1/4 20 thread for the magnets. I dipped the threaded rod in rubber so I didn't mess up my barrels. best method I found was to grab a funnel with a hole slightly bigger then the rod, then above grass or cardboard, I filled it up with Flex Seal, it's thick, so it doesn't just flow through the funnel. Then just dip your pre-cut rods into the Flex Seal filled funnel, and pull them back out, since you obviously don't want any rubber on the last inch, since you need those threads for the magnet. Then hang the rods vertically to drip dry.

    Looks fucking amazing man. What are the basic dimensions of your cabinet? I've been looking around for different cabinet designs and this one definitely mirrors what I'm looking for; moderate capacity in a compact space. It looks about 24"x24"x5 or 6', would I be right?

    • @murc111
      @murc111  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's 6'6" tall, and 27" wide, That width was because the round piece of wood on the bottom was 24", so that set the size. Which in hindsight, I should of just cut it down to 22", so I wouldn't of wasted so much (kinda pricey) maple plywood.

    Did you coat the all thread with anything? If not you're doing damage to your barrels.

    • @murc111
      @murc111  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yup, FlexSeal (liquid rubber), poured it into a funnel, and while it very slowly oozed out, I dipped the rod in and pulled it out, and hung it to dry.

      lol, yeah I've been told by others it looks like a sex doll. In reality, I printed it with my 3D printer...it's my kinda art.

    What’s up with the Woodprix stuff? I see it so much it looks like some spam stuff.

    My husband used these plans from woodprix and he's very satisfied.

    • @murc111
      @murc111  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      no he didn't, because this is all original, I copied no ones designs. People don't need to spend money on sites to get some plans, use your imagination.

    I heard very good opinions about the Woodprix plans.
