I started playing lufia 1 and 2 on my steam deck as soon as i received it back in february! Estpolis 2 score is a masterpiece that i listen to regularly even 20 years after. wow i feel so old now!
I played this game from the age of 8 and really got caught into the emotional flow of the story. So naturally I get all the feels when listening to this wonderfully remastered soundtrack. Especially the ending pulls my heartstrings. Thank you so much for transporting me back to my 8 year old self! 😊
I was born after all releases of this game, but it's helping me on one of my language learning journeys. Playing Lufia 2 in Dutch is quite the *gezellig* experience: - there's few games in general with Dutch, and most of them are licensed kusoge - the world is easy to get sucked into, and as a college kid this is as close as I can get to actually visiting Suriname, the Netherlands, or Belgium - the music is excellent, and you've remixed well - my emulator puts a CRT filter that makes the pixellated shading smooth Groetjes uit de Verenigde Staten

Oh...I can't find the track "Island in the Void", there's the one from the first game, but not the one from the second game (same for the labyrinth theme), but maybe the project is not to do the full soundtrack, this is already a incredible task to cover all these tracks! 👏
yes i know for the msising track, i had completely forgot about adding them but it was too late i had uplaoded the video already :( I will probably repost the whole project again around christmas time with the missing track and with a V2 with reworked sound on some track. I am also working on a lufia 2 piano album :)
Excellent work on this! While no Secret of Mana, I still hold Lufia 2 among my favourite SNES scrores. My only remark is that I miss the dramatic snare drum in the ending theme. Cheers.
@@redbahamut It's hard to choose, I think out of nostalgia for the moment, I'd stick with "Battle Theme #2" It's great! But there are many other GREAT! ..."The me of Tower" Ufff.. ALL!!!!!
I played it when I was fifteen, more or less, (Im 36)and then throughout my life, once in a while. With special affection I remember the typical puzzles and really, the soundtrack... "Hidecka" Wow! hehe Did you play "Secret of Evermore"?
yeah actually i started the project but didn't had time lately to put much time into it, ill probably have something ready by christmas this year or earlier :)

I play the ntsc version and I am happy about 60hz instead of 50hz like it was in germany.
The music sounds great.

This game was amazing. But the soundtrack was God tier. I don't think any games have topped the battle themes created for this gem.
