He would know exactly what map he was using next, open the atlas, ctrl-click it into the box and be off. Also, of course, he would clean out his inventory first. And he never would have picked up a naked white item. Also, the map he used, he would have juiced it in his crafting tab first. Once inside the map, he would immediately run into the map. I feel like the reddit post is underselling "implies the Hand of Wisdom and Action unique could be a higher level than 52". To someone not familiar with PoE/PoE2, that makes it sound like it's some random trivia that he just isn't aware of. I mean, yes, each unique item, as a rule, always has a consistent level requirement. Every single copy of that item is going to say it requires level 52. But that specific unique item drops exclusively off of one of the hardest bosses in the game. And, more to the point, it's one of the strongest items in the game, and it is basically the centerpiece of the build he is playing. So the point isn't "haha, elon doesn't know that uniques only drop with a specific required level"; the point is that he mouses over the item that is carrying his build and goes "eh, level 52 here... pretty low level compared to my character level.... but it seems to work pretty well" like it's something he just randomly stumbled upon while leveling and happened to equip.
How does one be among the most influential and wealthy people in the world and still feel the need to cheat in videogames? Seriously, what void of ego could you possibly have to feel obliged to cheat your way up a leaderboard in such a position? What are you proving, dude? I hope I never find myself with whatever itch drives this particular brand of madness.
It is the same issue that drives his hoarding and his cheating. He collects money to be the coolest richest guy, and cheats in Diablo to be the coolest richest guy. None of it, NONE of it, will ever get him what he really wants.
The feeling PoE and Diablo gamers are feeling right now about Elon, must be similiar to what actual Tesla and SpaceX employees feel like every time Elon gets up on a stage and proceeds to fumble and butcher their work while passing it off as his own. Like the SpaceX crew are clearly top of their class, what do they do/say when Elon shows up pitching his rad ideas? "Good idea boss, let's put it on the refrigerator riiiiight....there. Now go be proud of yourself boss!"
There is a funny irony about the richest man alive trying to show he's "cool" by doing nerd stuff. Could you imagine the CEO of a big bank in the 80s trying to show they're cool by showing off their comic book collection? Idk if this says more about him or society.
A comic book collection is fine. Everyone knows you get “good” at collecting comic books by having a lot of money. There’s no deception, it’s an acceptable hobby. He is personally pathetic for pretending to be good at a game despite paying other people to get his levels, and the general problem is that some people have so much money they can burn it on stupid shit like overpaying for rare books that no one else gets to read or paying people to play video games for you
Well the thing is back then they were trying to show how cool they are by acting like Gordon Gecko, essentially the kind of person that in a movie about nerds getting revenge on jocks, would be a third party rightfully hated by everyone forcing the nerds and jocks to team up against because they're so smug and punchable, so basically not far off from acting like a particularly lame comic book villain.
He tries to pull in youth, but conservative youth, which usually plays only in free time after job. I actually somewhat understand the point - and now, if someone would critique him for his mess, he would say: "you do 12h games a day, aren't you not job? Why say that I'm this and that, whereas you are loser for life? I have millions and can afford it! You can't afford boosting so you say thats bad!" It is that simple. And many people would actually agree with him. He is the classical definition of a capitalist, and I do not expect anything less from America, as this is the by-default capitalist country and never had any other governance values except profit.
It's funny to me that elon wants us to believe he's in charge of all these companies, does all his media, goes to all these high level meetings, in charge of DOGE, spends as much time on Twitter as he does and games at a top level. Like, how many hours does he think WE think there are in a day? 😂
Not only did he demonstrate he had no clue, he played for a day and got his character killed in hardcore. The guy playing the account for him was at 7th on the leaderboards for hardcore mode until then.
One historical note: For the most part, medieval kings didn’t have servants dress themselves out of incompetence. Fancier court wear was often designed so that it *required* assistance to get into, or at least was greatly aided by the use of servants, these people weren’t putting on a tshirt and jeans or even a modern suit. The other thing is that for some kings, like Louis XIV of France, having those servants dress you and so on was a political consideration, because you could hand out those duties to important people as a reward. Why would you do this? Why would any important person want such a duty? Because it came with private, one-on-one access to the King. It’s the monarchical version of lobbyists paying $100,000 a plate at a fundraiser dinner. Being the dude who fetched the King’s slippers gave you access to his ear, and thus, to power.
I bet he will later brag about this. "Well I can afford to have pre-prepared accounts for me to try games in their pinnacle. Your fault if you are required to fill them by yourself". If he would be smart. Would be an easy way out of the argument.
his PoE gameplay was hilariously inept, and I've never played PoE. lil bro was drag and dropping items into his inventory... just the monstrous hubris required to even think anyone would be fooled somehow says it all

They gave him one of the safest builds in the game with giga gear and had him run pisseasy maps so Mr best Hardcore player doesn't get his ass nuked instantly. Amazing
I called this out a few months ago in the comments section of the original IGN article. there is Diablo streamer named Rob2628 that leveled his account for him. Not only that, He also used Duped full stat items to juice his character up. The saddest part about all of this is that IGN and any other sites that posted about him being a top 20 player could have easily found this out. On one of his streams he scrolled over one of his items and any Diablo player that understands the game would have known he had Duped Exploited gear.
As one of those persecuted trans women, I can say - without any hint of irony - that I am living a happier, more fulfilled life than Elon. I have friends and family that value and love me as a person.
That comment about "only level 62 staff" is sooooo telling. Because it means that he has no clue, no idea whatsoever of what a "build" is. Nor even about how items work in the game overall.... Not surprised, but damn is it pathetic. For those who don't know, some very powerful endgame builds in those games depend on items with pretty low levels to function.
The system where levels of artifacts are much lower than character or weapons is so ubiquitous in games overall, how it was even possible for him to entertain that it somehow certainly should be equal.
Boiling an item's value down to its equip level is WILD for anyone that claims to spend any significant amount of time on RPGs. I guess I'm an idiot for spending hundreds of gold on Edgemaster's Handguards in Classic WoW back in 2020. After all, my Fury/Prot tank was level 60, and those gloves are only ilvl 49/equip level 44, so they must be worse than Hyperion Gauntlets Of The Whale.
@@colinhobbs7265 And? You're still looking for the best itemization for the build you are making. Newer games having more sensible itemization doesn't change that. Minimum equip level is largely irrelevant in nearly every game I've played that bestows stats and effects via gear. I was providing an extreme example given his sole focus on equip level.
It's worse than the case you gave though. Those gloves will never be anything other than required level 52. Rare required level is a little different, it's not just 5 levels below the ilvl like in wow, it's based on the mods on the gear itself. The mods on that gear make it mirror tier which means it's so valuable, people will trade an item that drops every 20,000 hours for a copy of that staff that they can't modifiy.
How much you think the guy makes by playing characters for Elon Musk? I mean, the guy must be extremely good, to get this account among the top players and then presumably having his own character which he plays for himself 24/7 too, right? a player at his level would not ponder anything at any point. He would know exactly what map he was using next, open the atlas, ctrl-click it into the box and be off.

Him... definitely him. The issue is all about him and on him.
He tries to pull in youth, but conservative youth, which usually plays only in free time after job.

The mods on that gear make it mirror tier which means it's so valuable, people will trade an item that drops every 20,000 hours for a copy of that staff that they can't modifiy.
my grandma at the end of her life was better at using the mouse
The worst thing is he’s bragging on Rogan how he’s the best in the world in this and he eats it up. What a psychopath
This suddenly reveals how he didnt know Bob Page was the villain of deus ex..he never actually played the game.
How much you think the guy makes by playing characters for Elon Musk? I mean, the guy must be extremely good, to get this account among the top players and then presumably having his own character which he plays for himself 24/7 too, right? So how much would you demand Musk pays you so he can brag passing YOUR skill off as his own?
I bet once Elon has a wife again, he's going to be a super-awesome lover, pulling the old "blindfold" trick again. Why use skill when you have money?
Why walk when you can ride?
Oh man, I'm always on the lookout for a narratively justified bed trick and this is gold
oh sh!t... hilarious... this knocked me out for a couple minutes...
The world could genuinely be improved so much if Elon just accepted that he needs therapy.
Paying people to pretend that those are his accomplishments.... His life story
The man literally could just quit all the stupid shit he is doing and play video games all day, and finally becoming good at them BUT DOESN'T
What's next for Elon? Will he start wearing a muscle suit and expect people to believe he works out?
Having a stash tab named "Elon's Map" is just adorable
crazy how the ceo of 5+ companies has time to grind ARPGs...
he doesnt. Did you not understand the video ?
@agz4370 almost like I'm implying that he's obviously lying...
The old world is dying, and a new world is struggling to be born; now is the time of morons.
That's how a lonely person without friends look like.
Bootlickers always support you.
Friends tell you when you're being an idiot.
Imagine being the richest man on Earth and still feeling the need to cheat in video games.
His entire life is based on lies. He's not a genius, he hasn't invented jack and shit. He's great at claiming others achievements as his own and conning idiots but when he's seen for his true self he's pathetic and despised by the people who truly know him.
He outsourced his gaming to china. 😂
all he can do is trying to relive his teenage years over and over again with everything that was important back then, making memes, having a lot of likes and playing a game obsessivly, but sincew he is an old rich dude with zero skillz, he has to pay others for those things. At least Sam Bankman-Fried played LoL himself even though he sucked the same
Wait. So you are telling me that he gets employees from china (presumably) so he can pay them less than an equivalently skilled westerner, then proceeds to have them do all the work and yet he takes they credit.
Obviously analogy is obvious.
The most hilarious part in all this are the people who think this isn't how Elon's acquired valor in every other aspect of his life.
He owns the entire world and he wants to cheat in an online video game?
He's the richest person in the world and he just bought a president, but he needs to construct an elaborate lie about his video gaming skills to impress whom exactly?
I remember a few years ago when Wanda came out on Disney plus and “for some reason” Elon started tweeting Theseus’ ship philosophy as if he was in deep thought and decided to drop some wisdom. He couldn’t grasp the concept of Theseus’ ship
They really are just a bunch of empty, sad, lonely little boys lying to each other about how great they are.
3:13 I love the attitude here 😂 Vaush is always so snarky 😂
Cry ai bot
I think the greatest piece of socialist propaganda would be a poster that's a mosaic of Elon's worst pics, a summary of his real biography/attributes and then just "capitalism wants you to believe this is peak human performance" or maybe "you really wanna be this looser?" or maybe even both... Someone more talented than me!! go make it, we'll change hearts and minds (at least of the people who are just uninformed but have morals and all that xD)
Path of Exile 2, not Diablo IV, editor-bro.
Nah, his PoE2 gameplay is how we know he was cheating in Diablo 4
They are the same game and I will not be hearing arguments to the contrary
