But as I said before the normies are confusing it with the Pfennig necklace. That has been shown by Ulrich to Helge when he was a child. Not sure anymore if Helge had it when he travelled to 86 but in 87 he has a probably brand new one (possibly from his older sleve although we do not see them together at this point) that he takes back to 53. 33 years later he gives similar necklaces to the three boys they experiment on. Another 33 years later he used the necklace as a bookmark. This is where Ulrich finds it, takes it back to 53 and shows it to young Helge. Speculation spoilers below... !!!!! SPOILERS !!!!! 7:15 - "What if Adam is lying to Jonas?" Well, not really much of a prediction, but he's right. Pretty much everyone lies to their younger/older selves, though. Specifically, Adam is lying to Jonas by making it sound like this "loophole" will work, but he already knows that it will fail and that he just needs to inspire Jonas to go through with it not knowing that he's the cause of the continuation of the cycle yet again.
Basically whenever Suraj is saying something I agree. Either because he is correct or because he is drawing the same assumptions that I was when I watched this episode the first time. For example Suraj says that the other hooded person is Helge. That was revealed in episode 1x07 around the 35 minute mark. Jana tells Ulrich about the priest and the man that argued with him and while she still talks bo (Baran Odar) cuts to the hooded guy in the slicker walking towards the bunker and lifting his hood to be revealed as Helge. In the end of the episode he then drags Yasin's body from the bunker which makes it clearer that he also dragged Erik's body from the bunker in episode 2. For the same assumptions and theories part: I immediately thought that Adam was lying because he is obviously contradicting himself. He keeps explaining how the causal consistency not only has to be preserved but how it is inevitable... but then he proposes to completely interrupt the causal progression. It's hihgly unlikely that this could work after all that we have seen so far.
30:40 Makes me think of the videogame Kingdom Hearts: Chain of memories. At the end Riku is given the choice to wander one of three roads. The road of Light, the road of Darkness or the road of Twilight. He chooses the latter one claiming that it is instead the road to Dawn.
31:40 Naivité means that you are unaware about the bad things that happen. Innocence is, when I think about it, wrongly used as a synonym. It means to not only know about the bad things happening but also to contribute in these things. When Jonas learns about time travel and how it is all connected he becomes the Stranger. But at some point the Stranger becomes Adam and that should be the point where he actively decides to get his hands dirty. EDIT: I guess the confusion stems especially from the idiom "innocence lost".
It's interesting that you said "they're all just following the same thread". I think that is just a byproduct of what is actually happening, and it's a view we can only take as a viewer. I prefer to think that they are all just following the same thing - their own desires. They are all acting towards their own personal goal at any given moment in time. I cannot wait to see your reaction to episode 6!
I don't see how Ines is overprotective, from her perspective Ulrich is a child murderer from a crazy house xD. But this show is insane, every reveal has a next reveal set up, like who is Charlotte's mommmmm!!!??! It's killin me xD
About Naivete and Innocense. While they can be synonyms, they have a little difference in meaning overall. Naivete is the lack of understanding, knowledge, and is seen as a bad characteristic to have(e.g: A person lets himself be deceived by a crook). Also means lack of experience. Innocense is the lack of wrongdoing, moral guilt, is seen of a good characteristic to have(e.g: A outside viewer of a crime is innocent). Also mean lack of experience. When Adam talks about death of Naivete he is talking of "Young Jonas", he was naive, know nothing about time travel, him discovering about it was the death of his Naivete. Death of Innocense he is talking of "Middle Jonas", he was innocent, did no wrong while trying to end the loop. When he accepted(will accept) that he had to put his hands in the dirt, that was the death of his Innocense. They are quite different things, though if you take both aspect of "lack of experience" they are both the same thing. The more that he knows and accepts, the less he is naive and innocent.
One of the things I didn't like about about the science of the show. They used the nickname (a misnomer, really) for an actual scientific property (Higgs didn't like it being called the God particle), for a fictional scientific anomaly. Maybe call it the "God anomaly" or the "flux particle" or "chaos flux".
It's a nice touch that for a more authentic feel the crew waits for decades between watching the episodes. You sure beat the big A in staying fresh over such vastness of time but there's is that whole "a third is not bad, right"-aspect in recalling things that in fact are not in any way weirdly knotted in themselves. It is as it always has been but somehow it trips me up at times. :P One would think that multiple eyes (and such) would balance each other but somehow something quite different keeps happening.. synergistically. It's not like it matters somehow (on it's own) or isn't amusing (to a point) anyway. I suppose it's in the name but then again.. is it really that? I suppose it's relative, like a previous insight on.. relations where potential intermingling of DIFFERENT families was called a thing that uh, it's not. To quote Homer Simpsons "Opposite, eww!" or something to that effect. That guy was supposed to be something of a baseline himself but who are we kidding with that? But it's a catchier title than.. well, something more apt. :D
You are trully the best, I could just watch you like that in preepisode disscussion, Suraj looking around, Rana hiding stuff, and Nikki going omg, and its all funny af! :D You are great guys
people commenting next ep is the best........wtf I watched this show 4-5 times and i still dont have a single f idea whats gonna happen in next episode😂😂😂😂
You lose Naivete when you realize everyone around you is out for their own benefit, and they're telling you a story to secure their own interests. You lose Innocence when you decide to join them, and make a decision to hurt other naive people to promote your own interests. Your confusion over the difference between the two may be because the two instances occurred for you almost simultaneously.
Nikki and Rana need to stop dismissing everything Suraj said just because it doesn't agree with their misconceptions. And Suraj needs to stop backing down when he's correct. Hooded guys were middle age Jonas and middle age Helge. At no time was it young masked Jonas. The first sighting of a hooded figure occurs on the night Mikkel disappears (Nov 4), so there's no way it could have been young Jonas, who is being sent to the day before his dad commits suicide (in June). If that was the case, no wonder he couldn't save his dad.
7:45 Adam is about 83 (17+66). 9:43 In my humble opinion, Andreas Pietschmann, who plays adult Jonas, is by far the hottest actor in the whole show. You can still see it even when they're making him wear baggy clothes and not letting him cut his hair. :) His eyes are hazel, and yeah, Louis Hofmann's are blue. But eye color can change due to radiation. So let's go with that. Whatever. They are remarkably similar in other ways, but they're not clones. It doesn't bother me, like it doesn't bother me that Jana's nose completely changed shape when she grew up. ;)
@@AnkitSingh-cd7tw Probably, assuming he was 17 in June 2020 (16+ 8 months). Although the show kind of keeps forgetting that one year 😅 (Adam says "it took me 66 years..." a few times, when it should probably be 67 years).
@@AnkitSingh-cd7tw That's the 1 year... He was 16 in November 2019. In June 2020. Spends 8 months in 2052/2053. Time travels for a few days, then meets old Claudia and spends a year being mentored by her. So he's probably 18 in the season 2 finale.

EDIT: I guess the confusion stems especially from the idiom "innocence lost".
this necklace story is so coooool wait for it in 3rd season
It's interesting that you said "they're all just following the same thread". I think that is just a byproduct of what is actually happening, and it's a view we can only take as a viewer. I prefer to think that they are all just following the same thing - their own desires. They are all acting towards their own personal goal at any given moment in time.
I cannot wait to see your reaction to episode 6!
_I know daddy's eyes colour_
The simp is strong with Rana
If you didnt watch "babylon berlin" you need to watch it too. One of my fav german series as well as dark :)
I don't see how Ines is overprotective, from her perspective Ulrich is a child murderer from a crazy house xD. But this show is insane, every reveal has a next reveal set up, like who is Charlotte's mommmmm!!!??! It's killin me xD
Ikr, people are hating on her but she doesn‘t know who Ulrich is.
GUYS, the moment u get ur hands on the WHOLE family trees, its bananas.
I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODEEEE
This is one of the best reactions on your channel. I can't wait for the next episode!!!
I'm looking forward to next week. That will be my favourite episode of this show
when I knew who was charlotte's mom my brain Stopped working
Fun fact : Noah and Elizabeth are brother and sister too😵

One of these days, you guys will be able to have your own whiteboard, never lose the faith.
On the dark app you can also follow objects trough time with explanation
I love the next episode. I'm really enjoying your reactions!!
The god particle is the Higgs boson, which gives other particles their mass :)
One would think that multiple eyes (and such) would balance each other but somehow something quite different keeps happening.. synergistically.
Hyped for the next episode and everything that follows
people commenting next ep is the best........wtf I watched this show 4-5 times and i still dont have a single f idea whats gonna happen in next episode😂😂😂😂
21:40 - I’m saying nuttun!!!
Damn I'm upset they missed the subtle reveal of charlotte's mother in this episode
From this episode, I was able to confirm, Ulrich had the worst fate among all.
When you realize the family tree is a tumble weed
Ulrich really goes through it. I feel so bad for him.
watching this after work.
Can't wait to see how they react when they find out who charlotte real mom is 😂😂
Naivete is not being aware, not knowing how things are. Innocent is not doing wrong and ends when a person makes a moral choice.
What was the Ariadne thing Suraj pointed out?
OMG... I cannot wait! Binge it! NOW! :-D
Mikkel didn't say a word when they jumped Ulrich lmao weird considering he was supposedly happy Ulrich found him and acknowledged he's his father
how they knew adam was jonas at the beginning?
Next episode is my favorite in the entire series
Everytime we watch a show or movie with a bunch of people, there will always be this one person who will confuse everyone even more.
Nikki is the screaming lady? "Shut up" Shut up" Shut up" SHUUUUT UUUUP!!!". The moments when I have to turn down the volume because my ears hurt 🤣
so freaking good
Omg it was helge lol
You will get answers eventually
For the whole show mostly by the end of the show
Sometime in season 2 i just kinda gave up plotting all the connections and just rolled with it.
plotting the connections is fun.... the show is like a giant escape room....
Can't wait for eps 6-8 reaction, ESPECIALLY the opening of ep 8....
Ulrich suffers cause he tries to change the timeline. Everyone who tries suffers, the way for them not to, is to simply accept the change and carry on
7:45 Adam is about 83 (17+66).
9:43 In my humble opinion, Andreas Pietschmann, who plays adult Jonas, is by far the hottest actor in the whole show. You can still see it even when they're making him wear baggy clothes and not letting him cut his hair. :)
His eyes are hazel, and yeah, Louis Hofmann's are blue. But eye color can change due to radiation. So let's go with that. Whatever. They are remarkably similar in other ways, but they're not clones. It doesn't bother me, like it doesn't bother me that Jana's nose completely changed shape when she grew up. ;)
Adam is 84 (17+1+33+33)
@@AnkitSingh-cd7tw Probably, assuming he was 17 in June 2020 (16+ 8 months). Although the show kind of keeps forgetting that one year 😅 (Adam says "it took me 66 years..." a few times, when it should probably be 67 years).
@@frakkintoasterluvva7920 plus he also stayed with Claudia for a year when she trained him.. 21 June 2019 - 26 June 2020
@@frakkintoasterluvva7920 yeah and 18 + 66 = 84 that's what I said 😉
Next episode will make u cry :')
Ulrich: cheats on his wife, grabs people who he thinks know something he wants to know, beats people over the head and yells that every child he see's is his.
jonas necklace isnt the penny that the kids had, like helge and noah.
